Good food and atmosphere at reasonable prices
Have been a few times. It has been better. 10:30am and the restaurant was empty except for one other person.
The breakfast was good, as was the coffee.
Service as bit intrusive.
Nice attentive service. Food was delicious and plated nicely. Portions ample. Overall a very positive experience. We will definitely return!
The waiter was indifferent at best- when i asked for something, I got the distinct feeling I was bothering him. My pasta came out ice cold, and I had to wait 10 mins to find the waiter or bus boy to request pepper and parmesan cheese. The menu is appealing, but the food was only fair.
Good Sunday brunch. French toast was amazing.
First time. Food and service was excellent. Noise level too high and background music is unnecessary and a bit annoying.
Best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had. Great service- perfect place after theatre.
Delicious food every single time
The service was not good
After show dinner...easy, great menu, always consistent and good. Pizzas are winners!!!
Food was not up to par. The service was rushed. Was noisy and rushed.very disappointing.
The pasta was beyond delicious and the service was great!
Service was disappointing, almost nonexistent. There was a long wait between being seated and when our drink order was taken, and then we watched the drinks sit at the bar until I was able to ask the host for help.
The food was terrible, and the behaviors of waiter’s were vey bad.
The food is always good here, however, service was slow this time around. It took approximately 45 mins before we got our entrees and we had to follow up twice. Our server did not apologize or say anything to acknowledge our patience. I also noticed that some tables were given dessert cookies but we were not offered any. I’ve been here many times and they definitely prioritize larger groups and stick parties of 2 off on one side and forget about them.
By our own request we were seated at what appeared to be the quietest 2x tucked into an alcove by the bar. The hostess subsequently allowed a group of tourists to add a bar stool to where they had been standing. Doing so effectively blocked the passage to the rest room. My back was hit at least 20 times during my dinner. When I raided this issue to the hostess she snapped that we had requested that table so it was our problem. I will never done in a Serafina (aka rude ripoff) again. Horrible.
Great good and great service
Server was excellent, food was great.
I heard bolgnese was supposed to be amazing, and was only above average, although, not bad.
Food = DELICIOUS
Service = Exquisite
Atmosphere = Fantastic
Did I mention the food??? OMG!
All the waiters were not nice. Except for the manager wearing blue shirt all the rest weren’t polite or nice. They were in a hurry and made sure to let us know we were not welcome for breakfast at 10:30. So why accepted the reservation??
Food and level of service did not match the pricing of the restaurant. I think you would likely do better selecting another location for Italian food in the city. Overall it was good, but the pricing dictated a quality of food and level of service that was not met.
Great food accommodating server 👍
Fabulous. Waiter was great
Another great meal at Serafina!!
The service was terrible! We didn't get what we ordered cooked as we asked. Brunch was supposed to come with a basket of bread and muffins. Didn't come at first. After we asked, we got one tiny muffin cut in half and two slices of a croissant! Coffee was from the bottom of the pot and tasted burnt.
Birthday dinner for four was great
Restaurant was extremely noisy and music was extraordinarily loud, making dinner conversation impossible.
Service was painfully slow
I waited 25 min for restroom
I would not recommend Serafina if you like to have a conversation with the person/s you are dining with. It has a very energetic vibe but on top of that there is loud music playing which makes talking to someone sitting in front of you practically impossible. If this is your thing, then you will enjoy the ambience. We had a simple meal, calamari (I've had better) and pizza, which was good. The service was just fine.
Se les olvidó la orden y se tardo
Great spot to catch a dinner if you’re in midtown
The cook did not show up for work, so we arrived for our Sunday breakfast reservation only to be turned away.
The food and service were excellent.
Tasty food, great location, service very good. Reasonable entree prices but salads a little high. Noise level makes conversation difficult.
Overpriced mediocre Italian food. Stay home and open a can of Chef Boy-R-Dee.
I love going to Serafina's. I have been there several time for lunch with co-works and have had dinner during the Holiday Season. Food is wonderful and service is excellent!
Poor service during lunch time
My second visit to Serafina and the food was outstanding both times.
I will definetly come back.
I had a pasta dish with truffle and butter that was amazing.
In our reservation, we asked for a table outside (because one of our guests has a baby and stroller, so trying to be mindful of others and figured sitting outside where it’s already loud would be best!)
When we got to the hostess, we checked in and let her know all of our guests were there. I had to reiterate the ask for outdoor seating, so it didn’t seem like they looked at the reservation notes. She must’ve gotten confused because when she came back she asked again if our whole party was there, I said yes we’ve been here, then when she saw the stroller she acted annoyed and said “oh so are you going to need space for that then...” to which I responded, “Yeah. Which is why I requested in the reservation to sit outside.” It was pretty rude for her to act annoyed that there was a stroller and it seemed like they weren’t very organized if I had to keep saying the same thing 3 times.
As for the rest of the experience, the service is slow but it was okay because we were chatting and weren’t in any hurry.
Fair warning: the Mescalito cocktail isn’t very good and has a strange after-taste. Go with something else!
