Service was slow. Table in poor location. Servers were nice but not as attentive as they should have been. The Brussels sprout salad was too salty and too full of dressing or mayo. Sorry!
Regulars to Serafina, however was disappointed by this visit, food took too long and then it was cold. We had to ask the waiter every time we needed something, not a great experience.
Not so good... uses to Be much better. Party of 4, gave us a very bad table at second flloor, near the window. Had to change. Asked twice for the olive oil, waiter forgot both times. Never more
This is our local and love every time we go. We prefer to go outside the busy hours as the service is always better. Pizza's are excellent, spaghetti bolognaise is perfect
Serfafina Always is always a winner! Despite our reservation being slightly delayed, the food was excellent and the host, most pleasant accommodating!
Staff was very busy but even with reservations they were not seating people and staff was often ignoring us. Table was squeezed against the stairs. I come here regularly and was really unimpressed by their ability to handle a normal weekend volume
Valentine’s Day dinner. I love the vegetarian platter with chicken and extra sauce. But I chose Serafina for the apple tart dessert and they were not serving it that night :-(
Wildly mediocre food and service.
Had a wonderful experience dining at Serafina Always, yet again. The food was delicious, and my friend and I had a great time overall. I look forward to coming back soon!
Great food and service. Can’t go wrong on any given night.
Finalmente un posto a Manhattan dove ai mangia italiano
Also good for larger parties.
Delicious food and great ambience. I will definitely go there again.
Have t been in a few years. Glad to know the food is still as yummy! The calamari is served piping hot and just as delicious. I wish it wasn’t served in a basket because everything under the top layer was soggy. Will return again!
Always a great meal!’
Wonderful evening! Celebrating my birthday in NYC and always go to Serafina’s! 💗🎉🍾🥂
Excellent food, nice atmosphere and always busy. Service is professional and knowledgeable. Consistently a good meal.
The pizza was wet and very soft. We had 4 pizzas during our trip at other restaurants and this pizza was worst by far.
$34 for a small piece of fish. Hard broccoli that I couldn’t even cut with the knife and a few roasted potatoes. Disappointed
A nice lively environment with healthy food options. Pizza was tasty and the free range burger hit the spot. Great Place to meet up with a friend. We sat on the 2nd level which was a little more sedate and easier to conversate.
Great food, such a friendly staff and the best Tiramisu!!
Sat upstairs by the windows. Our server, Carlos, was fantastic and paid close attention to our every need. Recommend the Sancerre
We all had very delicious appetizers and entrees. Excellent service. Staff was immediately accommodating when I requested for our party of 6 to be moved upstairs where is is warmer and quieter.
Food was good, but service was a bit substandard. Food took about an hour to come out, with no real apology, just that the kitchen was backed up. Once it arrived, some of the food was cold, which they replaced pretty quickly. It was delicious though!
We loved it
Great salad menu and good wine by the glass. The service was attentive but not overwhelming. We were not rushed to finish.
Been going for years. Unfortunately food was not as good as usual. The pizza was a bit cold.
Food is reliably good although some dishes are better than others. This location is super noisy so if conversation is important go to another location. Otherwise a reliably good midtown locale.
Food was not as good as it used to be. Pizza was mediocre at best
Service was awful and food wasn’t worth the price. I have been to a few Serafina’s and have never been this disappointed. Planned on getting dessert as we were celebrating a birthday but left before and went elsewhere
Rushed service, terrible food
2 tables with 4/5 children each, screaming!
You couldn't hear yourself talk!
Most unpleasent, spoiled the dinner!
From Houston, Texas.
Loved everything, except in my martini they served stuffable olives, but they were empty...no blue cheese or anything...no queens olives. Otherwise, it was excellent for everything else!!
Service was initially very slow. We sat over 10 minutes without being acknowledged and without drinks. We waited another 15-20 to order. It appeared that 1-2 people were taking all the orders (not a great system). Once orders were placed, food arrived quickly. The food was good, but not the best in New York (or the UES for that matter). We friend several pasta dishes and pizza among us. Desserts were delicious- the highlight of our meal.
The food was really wonderful for a more casual place. They were incredibly accommodating to our young children. Highly recommend for an evening out.
We went for an early dinner on new year's eve and it was phenomenal!! I thought it might be overpriced but the food was 100% worth it (spinach ravioli and mushroom risotto were phenomenal), came out in less than 15 minutes although the place was pretty crowded, and the atmosphere was family-friendly while also being a little more formal. thanks serafina!!
Lovely and consistent as always
Quick lunch on our way to Central Park. Not the nicest ambiance at this Serafina location (compared to others in the city) — but our food was good. We ordered burrata and several pizzas for the table.
Excellent food, especially the pizza. The fish--bononzino or something like that, was excellent and properly cooked. slow service
Not the best of the Serafinas. Wait service was slow and we had 3 different random waiters. The first was openly hostile. I wouldn't go back (to this one).
