In 2008, they opened Brasserie Cognac in the Theater District where Chef Florian V. Hugo, a great-great-great grandson of poet Victor Hugo, serves fine French cuisine. Vittorio and Fabio energetically guarantee comfort, excitement and fabulous food at every location!
Saturday and Sunday Brunch : 10:30am - 3:30pm
Quite mediocre in every respect.
The upper west side needs better restaurants !
Decent food with many options. Pasta was al dente, as advertised. Service was friendly and generally attentive.
FRIENDLY STAFF AND CREW, VERY EASY COMFORTABLE ATMOSPHERE, CLEAN AND AIRY ENVIRONMENT.
Disappointing meal at Serafina 105. I enjoy many of the Serafina restaurants around the city, but this one was disappointing. My pasta was over cooked and the chicken was chewy. Their wines weren’t very good. I won’t be going back.
Really enjoyed the food and attentive service we received at our Sunday morning brunch last weekend. Very good for a family with young children.
Went to Serafina with a neighborhood friend and we enjoyed it very much. The food is good -- but the artichoke salad is spectacular. Pizzas and pastas are great and the menu has something for everyone. Our server was friendly and attentive. The prices are right. Will definitely return.
Average food, nice service, average ambiance, a little high-priced for such average-ness.
I would not care to return but have a friend in the neighborhood and if this place pleases her, I'll order only a small pizza.
Best bet--stick to the basics here.
I live the gnocchi and spaghetti bolognese here. It’s delicious! Of course, they don’t always get my order correct. That has happened at least twice before and it happened on this occasion too. The waitstaff is slow and not very attentive but certainly friendly. The olive oil at the table with bread is delicious. I will buy a bottle next time.
Food was tasteless. My guests had the same reaction. Also, when plates were delivered it was a complete mess. Of there 7 of us noone got the correct meal! Also some drinks arrived that were not ordered. I do not plan on returning.
Had dinner with friends. Food, service, ambience good. Menu options (pasta, vegetarian. pizza, meat, etc.) Noisy in a good way. Reasonably priced and a great addition to neighborhood @ Broadway and 105th).
The food was subpar. The carbonara barely had any flavor besides egg 😐 and needed salt. They only delicious thing I had was the buratta with prosciutto.
Service was poor. We repeatedly waited to have our water refilled. The restaurant was much too noisy -- very difficult for everyone at our table of 6 to hear each other.
I took my wife here for her birthday and we had a wonderful time. Exceptional food and service!!!
The food is solid. It's known throughout the city that Serafina is great for dining all the time. This new location at 105 is completely welcome and will become a neighborhood fave, though is probably a little pricey for families to come all the time.
Pass on this one! Terrible food. Overpriced and loud kids everywhere
Service was very slow. We waited a long time for drinks, close to an hour for our salads and appetizers, and when we thought at last our entrees were being served they were promptly whisked away to the apparent right table. One pasta dish arrived cold and with one small piece of chicken (added for an additional $6). It was sent back. Gratuity for our party of 7 was included but at a presumptuous 20%. Pasta was very good. But overall it was a very disappointing and relatively experience dining expensive. Won’t go back.
Real italian cuisine
Great local neighborhood spot. Perfect for families as they have a kids menu with something for everyone.
Great addition to the neighborhood. We made a spontaneous reservation for a Saturday night for date night and loved the food. I'm still thinking about filet mignon salad; it was so good! Loved the pastas as well. Will definitely return here soon.
Delicious food and good service. Accommodated a large group for a birthday celebration.
We have had positive experiences at other branches of Serafina, but were disappointed by our first visit to this outpost. The food was bland--the arugula salad was wilted, shrimp was not fresh, and the pasta had too much sauce. Overall, the meal was overpriced and unappealing.
Great bartender; professional service. The pasta dishes are fine. The salads are better. The balsamic vinegar is aged 20 years and to die for.
It was pleasant, simple, good food, and good attitude...look forward to becoming a regular !
The service is horrible. The waiter never once came by although the salads had not even come out 45 minutes into the meal. The drinks were wrong and there was no carbonation in the soda. Wine was warm. When we called the manager over there was a lot of eye rolling and although she apologized, there was no offer to get a round of drinks or to even offer more bread. I’ve been to three other Serefina’s and they’ve all been great. Do not waste your money here.
Love all the locations and this new one is most welcome in the neighborhood.
The UWS has a new great place to eat! Simply delicious food, he service amazing, and the place could not be more enjoyable. A party of six on a Friday night and we never felt rushed, hurried or ignored. The food was really, really good. I have to tell you, was not so impressed by the other Serafina locations, but this new location was phenomenal. It may become my new neighborhood go-to!
Went with friends for a birthday dinner. Great options for vegetarians and people who eat gluten-free!
Went with another family of three. The ambiance was good for this sort of relaxed group. Other than the pizza, which was excellent, the food was pretty bad. Caesar salad entirely soft green leaves soaked in oily dressing. Shrimp and avacado with white beans was sour and inedible.
The service was TERRIBLE and management was completely unapologetic when we complained.
The waitstaff was friendly, and our food was brought to us very promptly. We were there at 6:15 on a Monday, and it was relatively empty when we arrived. By the time we left, it had started to get busy. Great experience, will go back.
Pizza and pasta at a high price and high throughput; not much more to say other than go with the little league team.
I’m Italian and I was expecting something authentic. The wine wasn’t that good and overpriced. The risotto with mushrooms was very good but the ricotta pie was to sweet.
Nice addition to the neighborhood
Excellent food! Great place for a date, festive but quiet enough to have intimate conversation.
Lovely setting and exceptional service. Food is delicious. A wonderful experience.
The staff were nice but the food was not what we had expected. It was very bland and we didn’t finish the pizza. Another patron said the food was usually very good so maybe just an off night.
First time at this location and it did not disappoint. The food and atmosphere are great and there were enough options for those with dietary restrictions
I always like Serafina but this one is still a little rough around the edges. I’m sure it’s because they haven’t been open very long. The service was shaky. My pasta, Caccio e Pepe (cheese and pepper) came with no pepper. The manager took care of it promptly and my pasta was very good. The noise level is almost unbearably loud. I may wait until sidewalk tables open up before returning.
Food was routine. Service was slow, waiter was inattentive. There are 2 competing restaurants within a few blocks of this place, both of them better: Arco (Sardinian) and Mezzogiorno (Italian).
