Join us for an extraordinary evening of fine dining and wine exploration on Sunday, June 22nd, from 5:30 to 9:30 in the evening at SER Restaurant, as we bridge the flavors of Pago del Vicario with the rich culinary traditions of Spain. This Wine Tasting Dinner promises to be an indulgent experience that will tantalize your taste buds and transport you to Spain. Guests will enjoy a five-course award-winning menu prepared by award winning Chefs David Sierra and David Cardona exclusively for this event. Each course will be paired with the illustrious wines of Pago del Vicario. We are pleased to announce the launch of "El Rincón de Joselito" at SER, a one-of-a-kind gastronomic experience led by Chef David Sierra featuring tasting menus from Joselito Casa de Comidas, our beloved restaurant, which closed in late 2024 in Capitol Hill. Situated at SER's corner counter, El Rincón is an homage to the memories created at Joselito with decor and seating from the original restaurant. At each of these dinners, Chef Sierra will guide guests on a culinary journey throughout Spain, mixing timeless recipes with a dash of his innovation, art, and creativity. Seatings will be available exclusively for dinner on Wednesdays for 6 guests and by reservations made at least 7 days in advance via OpenTable. Our dinner was dominated by the noise. It was absolutely deafening. I have a sound level meter on my phone that registered 95 decibels, which is comparable to an approaching subway train. Sound at that level not only makes it impossible to have a conversation with your companions, it can damage your hearing (anything above 85 decibels is considered dangerous and exceeds OSHA standards). Generally speaking the food was pretty good, although a $28 octopus dish was at least half potato. But the noise level ruined the dining experience.

The food was outstanding, if a little pricey. The ibereria jamon slices were fantastic for the price though I expected an equivalent amount of Mon chefs cheese, not 6 small pieces. Ordered Brussels sprouts that were outstanding and the suckling pig. One complaint is the waiter seemed hesitant and didn't know how to upsell the experience. We could have drunk a lot more wine. And we probably would have ordered more food but were offered the opportunity. Still was a lovely evening and a fantastic meal.

SER is always a go to for a good time and great food. It was Easter and we wanted some place quiet and delicious. I was craving their garlic shrimp and tortilla. They didn’t disappoint.

Food was excellent, drinks were excellent, the server was very attentive and pleasant. It was a great experience. We’ve been there before and it’s always a great time. This time we went with another couple and it was just as amazing!

With a couple hours to spare ar the end of a business trip, I stopped in for a lovely late afternoon lunch at SER and felt like I was welcomed into an exceptionally familial restaurant uncommonly committed to ensuring I enjoyed every bite and every sip. The food was fresh and delicious and the relaxed environment contrasted sharply with its urban corporate surroundings (including a dungeon of a parking garage). If I’m in the area any time soon, SER will be my first stop.
