Waiter Rico (I think) was just right combo of attentive, polite, quick. Food was fine but he made the day for us. Outside on the street level it's a little noisy but what the heck this is the pandemic.

We’ve lived near ser but had never tried it. Just a delightful evening and a treat to eat outside. Excellent service. Really like the tapas. Lotsa goat cheese.

The service was good, had the croquettes which were quite tasty. The drinks were also pretty good, had the Wexler’s secret which was tasty, however I just expecting a little more kick from the Jalapeño salt and the sangria was good, I really liked the fruit frozen into the ice cube. I would come back and try more.

We can’t say enough good things about SER! They have a great outdoor area set up with tents and the tables are nicely distanced from each other. They also have a lovely indoor dining room (of course). The food and service were excellent and we had a wonderful time. We loved starting with the chorizo, manchego and Pan Catalana. For main dishes we tried the Wagyu beef special and grilled squid - both were delicious. For dessert, don’t miss the chocolate soufflé with espresso gelato (yum) or the flan. Our waiter, Christian, was very friendly and helpful and made us feel like VIP guests. We will be back soon. Thank you!
There are literally zero vegan/vegetarian options except tomato on bread and one side of veggies, so unfortunately if you need this, go elsewhere. The rockfish catch of the day was dry without the dairy sauce so if you want dairy free, be advised, there are no dairy free sauce options -- I asked. The smoked octopus and potato appetizer was delicious! The red sangria was superb. The service (thanks, Stacy!) was cheerful and attentive but not annoying. Extensive, covered outdoor seating area was welcome during covid. If you are a meat eater, this could be your jam. Tons of pork options -- even a whole pig or a table to share. Lots of seafood, too.

We were a large party of 10 people and SER had something for everyone. We can't wait to return!
We had a great time at SER happy hour! They had a wide variety of good drinks ($8 each) & tapas ($8) which made splitting the bill among friends very easy! The tapas were delicious as well. Would definitely come back.
We sat outside which was large and nicely covered - great since it rained three times during our dinner! We have been here several times, and the food keeps getting better and better. We were told they have a new head chef from Spain, and there are some new, very Spanish authentic and very tasty items on the menu. Server was prompt, knowledgeable and very attentive.
Varied menu. Lobster was fine, duck was somewhat overcooked; but risotto, excellent. Service was superb.
Our group of six dined outside on their very well covered patio. Everyone s meal was exceptional. The white sangria was a hit with fruit frozen in the ice cube. At 5 pm the traffic noise on Glebe was a little loud but not bad. Service was above average. Since they were busy service appeared a little delayed. Everyone wants to return and try the suckling pig for sharing.
What a great night for tapas! We visit Ser quite often and have never been disappointed. The wine list and tapa selection is absolutely perfect for a fun evening with friends.
We went to an early dinner at SER for restaurant week. We ate outside and the dining area under the tent is very nice, but unfortunately, the noise from Glebe Road and leafblowers across the street was quite noisy. The RW menu was very limited and while the food was fine, portions were small and we expected to be wowed given SER’s fine reputation. Maybe we should’ve ordered off of the full menu but that’s not the point of RW.
Service wait was unacceptable. Mostly because of lack of transparency, accountability and empathy. Not good. Food was decent. Chocolate flan was really decent.
I've dined at SER many times for dinner, but this was my first time trying brunch. Service was slow for main dish to come out, my drink order were wrong, and the bread basket napkin was dirty with old food. Maybe they were short staffed, but I think I'll stick to dinner if I go again in the future.
Our first visit. The paella was outstanding. Likewise the attentive service by our waiter. We ate outside, which was a bit lacking in ambience but still pleasant. The sole sour note was the chocolate soufflé, which unfortunately was quite dry. The expresso gelato that accompanied it was delicious (but didn’t help the soufflé’s dryness). Still, it was a great dinner overall and we look forward to returning.
Food was very delicious, but we were disappointed to discover that the smoked scallops were not available. Also, we sat outside after being seated inside due to the horrible loud clamor of peoples voices inside. Soundproofing needs to be improved.

Service was excellent. Food was all great except the Paella needs some work, the seafood in it was very overcooked.
Lobster crab app was the best ever. Seafood paella was fresh and tasty. Plenty for two. Chocolate souffle is a perfect finisher.
Everyone’s very impressed with the service! And delicious food! The cuchinillo and paella were definitely the hit! Cuchinillo has definitely improved - crispy in its entirety and meat is well marinated and delicious/ tasty compared to the last time (3 years ago) I had it when some of the skins were not crispy ( that’s why I never ordered it again until now)
Service is definitely “ numero uno” in very friendly, attentive and courteous.

Rico was fantastic as our server and made some great recommendations. It was a hot evening, and we wish there had been a fan or two to cool the space down, but otherwise a lovely experience.
We ordered the small tapas place and they were delicious, especially the fried eggplant with honey yoghurt.

SER has an outstanding three-course lunch menu for $26, but for Restaurant Week it is only $22. Great selections with generous portions plus excellent , reasonable wine pairings.
SER has easily earned its place as my favorite restaurant in the region. Superb service, excellent food. Great ambiance for gathering with friends inside or outdoors.
Restaurant Week Selection was less than average - miniscule portions, lack of flexibility to address dietary restrictions. Food presentation was not good and portions were not in line with other restaurants participating in Restaurant Week.
Amazing! Came here for restaurant week lunch. Chilled melon soup was surprisingly delicious. Ciabatta and dip appetizer on the smaller side. The steak and pork tenderloin are both highlight recommended. Everything was very good!
We very much enjoyed the Restaurant Week Menu. My only complaint was that the salmon was slightly over cooked to my taste. Wine pairings were excellent
