Incredible and authentic food, charming decor, and outstanding service. I love everything about this place!!! Order the Jamon!
I made reservations for seats at the bar. It was full. Host told me she has nothing to do with that and not her problem that was the managers issue.... Really? Bartender did a great job getting me a tall table. Host was terrible .... Food was excellent. I think it was a problem with this useless host.
We go to SER often. On this last visit we tried sea bream roasted under a pile of hot salt. It was delicious and not salty at all. It came with roasted vegetables and their excellent bread. We paired it with a bottle of Spanish Albariño.
Food was mediocre. Had to stand up and start putting on our coats to get a check. Definitely not top 100 in DC IMO
Exceptional as usual
The greeting from the lovely hostess is warm and inviting. The general manager Dimitri is absolutely sensational it keeps me coming back in additional to the delicious cuisine. Thank you SER FOR 5 STAR EXPERIENCES!
The wine list of Spanish wines is very good with a nice range of options. The chocolate soufflé was excellent. We had tapas that were good but expensive.
We were there right at the lunch/dinner transition. Dishes were delicious, but it seemed servers were busy with other duties so service was not very good. The main server did not know what we had ordered and wanted to bring our check before the main course. The main entree was underwhelming for the price (pork rib dish). I think the better value for this suburban restaurant is its happy hour, otherwise not sure its worth crossing the river for what one can already find in DC.
Food was very good but our waiter essentially disappeared for a while... Will probably go back
Our lunch was wonderful, as usual. The most delicious seafood paella. And the staff is just the best. We love SER.
The cooking at SER is refreshing, creative, and unpretentious -- a rare como. The service is excellent.
I have eaten there before and will definitely return.
This is one of our favorite go to places in North Arlington for great Spanish Mediterranean dining. We're never disappointed.
Overall happy with my experience. Loved the ambiance. Only issue was my Grilled Squid dish. I expected a more flavorful dish, kinda bland. I'm not giving up yet though, I plan to go back to try the roasted pig.
It was delicious. My son who had studied in Spain was particularly happy. Food and Alhambra beer brought back fond memories. We ordered the octopus and tuna tartare appetizers. Outstanding! Tried the suckling pig. The guys loved it. Bit rich for the two ladies. Could have used more vegetables. We thought the $200 price for the pig was a bit high, but great evening. We would go back!
Service and food were great as always. Management is very friendly and greets us whenever we come. Very authentic Spanish food!!
Made a meal of tapas. All were excellent, especially shrimp, sea bass, mussels, eggplant and peppers. Good wine by the glass. Great service!
Seated promptly. Tried tasting menu - food very good. Service spotty - waited over 30 minutes between second and third courses. Nice ambience and "vibe". Overall, would recommend and go back.
the food it was so delicious
Valentines Day was BAD. We waited more than an hour past our reservation time to get seated. The server wasn't very attentive and I ran out of drink very often as well as everyone in our section. BUT I understand it was a holiday night and probably one of their busiest nights of the year... I just wish they had made the right balance of reservations and staff/space. The food was VERY GOOD so we will be back... just not for dinner or big occasions.
Went for Valentine’s Day. It was packed wall to wall, but service and food was still really great. I would definitely recommend
We went for Friday night, Valentine's Day dinner. I booked the table and once arrived we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Server was helpful and friendly. We ordered seafood stew and duck with rice. Both dishes were very tasty. We also ordered 2 tapas, but one of them (with anchovies) arrived without the main ingredient (anchovies) and we had to ask server twice before she took it back to kitchen to "redo" the tapas. Overall was fine, though a bit pricey ($12 per tapas, $28 per dish).
The food was delicious and the service was great. We loved the rabbit. It was tender and well seasoned. The foie gras was ok (I’ve had better) but it was still tasty. The tables are small which is great for intimate dining but it makes it difficult to fit the serving plate on the table but that’s a minor detail that didn’t bother us.
Still our favorite neighborhood place. Excellent, friendly service and outstanding food. Wine list is also excellent and reasonably priced.
My team and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at SER. It felt like a special meal. We will definitely be back to try out other dishes.
Great date before Valentines. Loved the Sherry cart and the Iberian pork shoulder. Amazing service
Food was spectacular. Some of the dishes reminded of being in spain. Will go back
Food was delicious, service was okay and there was definitely room for improvement.
Unique and delicious choices. Service was great!
What a great night, the place was packed.Service and the food was amazing, we will definitely return.
Thank you for the amazing night.
Everything was very nice.
Excellent diner with friends. Very good service and better food. A hidden gem on the other side of the river!
Authentic Spanish cuisine and great Sherry’s selection.
I feel In Andalusia
Absolutely terrific. New happy hour and cocktails are great!
Busy Saturday, lovely atmosphere. Group of four, We shared the rabbit and paella. Top service. Great experience overall!
Service was perfectly fine but not very friendly. Seemed like none of the staff were smiling or happy. No one was rude at all, just perfunctory. Loved the food and wine. Will definitely be back.
Started out with them running out of rabbit which the 3 in our party had decided to get. This was a Saturday night at 7 PM. Apps of croquettes and bread with tomatoes were very good. Our alternate entrees of seafood stew and duck breast were very good. Nothing outstanding though.
We loved everything about the evening.
Went for our anniversary because we enjoy Spanish cuisine and had never been. Parking in the garage under the restaurant was easy and abundant. It was a Friday evening, so the bar crowd was loud and the voices carried across the restaurant. Charcuterie plate to open was good and a good value at $25 for the sampler. Our server was bright attentive, and not at a loss for good answers when asked questions. My wife had the pork shoulder, which had nice flavor. i had the seafood casserole, which was not truly a casserole. Shellfish, shrimp and fish in a bowl with some saffron-lobster broth at the bottom. No seasoning to speak of, and the broth did not speak to me of either named ingredient. Ultimately, we felt we could have gotten similar dishes at any number of places, as nothing about the flavors screamed "Spanish cuisine" to us. The desserts were very tasty - churros for me and an almond cake with cream for my wife. In the end, it was OK, but nothing to write home about.
We had the tasting menu and was perfectly executed. Also a wonderful bottle of Rioja.
