Magnificent dining experience. With a party of seven, we had a diverse enough selection that we were able to try most of the available course selections. For us, highlights of the fall 2021 seasonal menu included: steak tartare, crispy soft-boiled egg, herb-crusted back cod, hay-grilled sirloin, venison shabu-shabu, steelhead trout, foie gras, dark chocolate brownie, and the crispy sage French toast.

My son (whose college graduation we celebrated here) had done a lot of research for his special dinner, including watching Chef Zimmerman take down Iron Chef Marc Forgione on and older episode. Fortunately, this meal surpassed his high expectations. Bravo!

As you enter you immediately feel relaxed. That is the feel of the whole restaurant later on. The decor is is simple yet elegant, in keeping with the name. The service is very friendly, but not overly so. The food is exquisite, one of the mst creative and complex in taste that I have ever have. Overall a fantastic experience!

Such a special night with my hubby, out grown kids, and their s.o.'s. The cocktails were creative and delightful- the food was amazing and the service made each of us feel so special. Was a spurge night and I'm so glad we had this special night together.

Didn't know this was a Michelin-starred restaurant when I made reservations. But it certainly lived up to rating. Friendly front staff greeted us on arrival. Enjoyed the lounge area while we waited for the other guests to arrive. Food, of course was first rate. I liked the prix fixe menu selections. Standouts were the venison, duck, and steak (I didn't taste the seafood selection). Suggest the wine pairing. I tasted several new wines that perfectly accompanied each course.

Special mention of our server, Hilary. She was knowledgeable and engaging, and made great suggestions.

The space was physically pleasing, and the four of us at my table were able to converse in normal voice tones. Look forward to a return visit.

The food was interesting and generally well cooked/plated, but the overuse of sugar ruined one and nearly another of the four courses I had.

The only thing I had where the predominant flavor was not sweet was a malört cocktail, which was predominantly bitter.

Oddly, one of the dishes that wasn't too sweet was the sorbet desert. I'm not sure why the sugar was toned down there compared to the other dishes, but it was very good.

Cocktails - our favorite place in the city. Mixologists are inventive, and they perfectly execute elegant and well-balanced drinks.
Service - flawless. Busser is attentive, and waiter is always perfectly timed with wine pairings.
Food - ranges from excellent to outstanding.

Los postres no son nada espectacular vs otros restaurantes de gran calidad sin estrella Michelin.

Debes de probar el platillo de pollo con trufas, es un must. Así cómo también el platillo de pato. Fueron los 2 platillos ganadores.

Una muy muy buena experiencia, pero no espectacular.

We felt the support wait staff for a Michelin star needs a lot more training. We felt rushed from the beginning. We just got our cocktails and our first course arrived. We were never asked if we wanted coffee or tea at the end. My husband’s venison was very tough. However we had a great time and lead waiter was excellent.

We dined at Sepia for the 1st time to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday and the evening was truly special. Our waiter Kevin, and all the staff were terrific; the food was amazing with great flavors and was filling but not over so, so we could enjoy all 4 courses. And the value, while a Special Nite out, was a wonderful value for an amazing experience.

Really appreciated the time and thought that went into the course meal at Sepia. Hard to find places like this that streamline the experience and take the pressure off of having too many decisions to make. Nicely done.
