From the OpenTable editors: Chef Andrew Zimmerman's seasonal American tasting menu is so good that this West Loop favorite has consistently held on to a MICHELIN Star since first getting one in 2011. You'll get to choose from several options in your four-course dinner, which might include dishes like crispy ricotta gnudi, roasted monkfish with little neck clams, and a sweet pea pavlova with meyer lemon sorbet. You'll definitely want to get the wine pairing—Sepia won Wine Spectator's 2022 Best of Award of Excellence. Eating here feels extra-special because it's housed in an 1890 print shop with Art Nouveau floors and exposed-brick walls.

    Just a perfect experience. Had a nice quiet table in a mostly private section in the back. The tasting menu gave some great options and every dish delivered. The wine pairing menu also was the perfect way to navigate that meal. Service was perfect. Look when it all added up this isn’t a meal I’m going to be able to do regularly. But it was a perfect splurge.

    We celebrated my nephew's birthday and had the chef's table experience. It was spectacular. We couldn't decide which dish was the best. There were so many delicious favors and unexpected combinations throughout the meal and we all were so happy we chose Sepia as our dinner destination.

    The Chef Experience was epic. From the first bite until the last morsel the menu was an eventful experience to remember. The wine pairings were on point, the service (shout out for Kim) was impeccable while perfectly personable, the atmosphere was noice neutral, and the mood was pleasant.     We visited Sepia for my birthday and I had a wonderful time. We chose the 8 course tasting menu and every bite was excellent and we were full by the end of the meal. They even brought out a little cake and candle for my birthday. Two of us chose the wine pairing and one chose the non-alcoholic beverage pairing. We all loved the various drinks, and they paired nicely with the food. The entire wait staff was great. They sat us near the big windows in front, which provided great ambiance. We never felt rushed throughout the meal. We would highly recommend Sepia to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion.

    Finally had a chance to eat here and it was simply amazing. One of the best starred restaurants my wife and I have been to. The food was so good, great flavors. Ashley our server was 6/5 stars!
