Phenomenal dining experience from start to finish. We had the wine pairings, which were all wonderful with our four courses. We had the hamachi, sable, sirloin duck, and the banana and chocolate dessert. Every course was spot on and original. Flavors were complex, fresh, and none overpowered the main. Our server was very helpful and friendly. We described each menu option in detail and offered suggestions. Our children surprised us an picked up the check for their father’s birthday, which made it all the more special!

This was our second visit in the past six weeks. The food is the kind you take in small bites, to savor every bit. The noise level is less energetic in the back of the room. This time, they seated us a stone's throw from the bar and we had to raise our voices to have a conversation. Next time, we'll ask to be seated farther back.

We were on time for our res, but asked to have a drink at the bar first. Completely unrushed, very accommodating to our request. Asked the Som for a wine recommendation, he was delightful and gave just the right amount of back ground on his choice. Our meal was exceptional (so creative with taste and texture) and our waitress had answers to all questions. About as good a night out for fine dining as I have had in years. Had not been in 18 months, wont wait that long to go back!

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Excellent service! We had a great server who was knowledgeable, professional, and kind. She had a nice way of explaining the dishes and wine pairings and allowed for questions without making me feel ignorant for asking... this is not always the case in fine dining! We had the four course tasting menu complete with amuse bouche and an additional treat at the end since we were celebrating :) It was a very welcoming and delicious experience.

The tasting menu is a great value and the cocktail menu is very well thought out. There was a few missteps during our dinner The sweetbreads were severely over salted, The crispy egg was cold, and the sablefish misoyaki was also served cold. Overall a great experience and wonderful flavors.

I can’t remember our waiters name but he was so knowledgeable and so professional. I asked him to choose my courses and even though everything is great you can’t go wrong, his expertise was super on point and a very funny good hearted person. A real professional. My mom and I are visiting from Austin, TX and were looking forward to this experience and it exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!

Everything was perfect and for the price the food was amazing. Only complaint was there was a table behind us who were clearly drunk and were very loud, vulgar and obnoxious, in a "Michelin" restaurant.. I cant even type the things that were said and never addressed by anyone. That took away from the experience. Would I recommend this restaurant. Maybe, that's really all I have to say. I probably wont go back for a year. Try the other Michelin stars

The tasting menu is really interesting, but regarding to the limited number of dishes (4) the quantity could be a little (a tiny) bit bigger. Our waitress was kind but didn't really propose anything, i mean usually, in this kind of restaurant, they invite you to try this wine over this one, or that dish instead of this one. A good moment overall. And thanks to the management for not playing loud music and not putting the A/C on 65, it is not so frequent.

Ugh, I was really looking forward to eating at a Michelin star restaurant while passing through Chicago.

My husband and I went here the other night.

My husband had the wine flight and all the wines were delicious. I didn't try the final one since it was meant to be a dessert wine and I was quite full.

First course: Foie gras tart
I should've known this would've been like dessert. I prefer savory foods for my non-dessert courses. It was good but nothing amazing.

Second course: Crispy soft boiled egg
I did not like this. I was not impressed and I love soft boiled/poached eggs. It just lacked overall flavor and could definitely have more crunch.

Third course: Ricotta agnolotti
I had the vegetarian version which is made with mushroom butter instead of ham butter. I didn't like this. It was super bland and needed salt! I was disappointed in this quite a bit because I added the summer truffle for an extra $10. I didn't even finish it because I didn't like it. I gave it to my husband.

Fourth course: milk chocolate & banana
This was my favorite course but I would've liked it more if there weren't chunks of banana in it. The "crunch" in it was delicious and the best part.

Our server was very polite and answered all our questions.

Overall, pretty disappointed with the food and wouldn't recommend going there.
