Complimentary hot tea and traditional sides plus excellent service made this a wonderful experience!
Conveniently located, very nice staff, good food. Waiter gave us an excellent recommendation on what to have. Good to go before a show, quick in and out.
So great, as always.
We walked in and sat quickly. Looks like the place filled up shortly after we got there. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Food took a little while but that was expected considering it was a holiday weekend with several large parties. The food came out better than expected and reminded me of my mom’s cooking. Definitely would go back.
Disappointed in the food.
To me, this was Americanized Korean food. I've been to the North Philly location which was far more worthwhile and the same basic prices. The happy hour deals are great, but otherwise it's a bit expensive for what it is.
Good food and drinks are to be found at this nice Center City dining room. Authentic Korean cuisine. Close to the theatres .
One of the few places without a wait and I don’t know why because the food and service was outstanding. If I lived in Philly this would be a regular go to dinner.
Amazing place we had bibimbab and deonggang ggigae? Bean soup it was legit Korean place. I would love to go there again.
Excellent modern take on Korean food in center city.
Great, authentic Korean food with happy hour specials and friendly service. Staff also gladly and proudly explained everything to friends who were new to Korean cuisine.
Great food. Casual dining near theater
Disappointed this visit with both service and food.
The banchan were perfectly cooked and delicious - and well suited to what we ordered. The dolsot bibimbap with chicken was excellent, the spicy chicken was tender but not really spicy and had a bit too much soy sauce, to my taste. The charred onions in the black bean noodles were a bit too charred, also to my taste. Service was friendly and welcoming and attentive. Seorabol is a much needed addition to the center city Korean dining scene, with its casual ambiance, homey menu, reasonable prices, and yummy food.
Just as good as the original North Philly location. Would come back again and again.
we all enjoyed Seorabol a lot... We thought the BiBim BOp was excellent. Also we loved the ricecake rolls... WE will be back. THanks

Food was good, not great. Not enough meat in dumplings or enough veggies in noodle dish. Prices high for what it was.
More on the contemporary side of Korean cuisine. Very pleasantly surprised for the excellent quality of all the dishes we ordered. Nice ambiance, good service as well. Good location in the center city. Definitely will go back!
We were going to the theatre and so had limited time. The waiter recommended bibimbap, which I had eaten in S. Korea. I didn't think it was as good as I had eaten previously but it did come quickly and we did make the theatre.
The hostess was very cheerful and welcoming + 1
The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The decor was modern and colorful + 1.
The food was tasty and had a large portion (of dolsot bibimbap). I enjoyed the nice selection of banchan too. + 1 (Although there were four of us and it might have been nice to get 2x each banchan dish. Just a suggestion...)
The prices were a little high, IMHO. But maybe that's par for the course now in a big Northeastern city?
(And like I said, the portion was quite generous. I couldn't finish all of it. So I'll still give +1 for value... especially because of no-charge for refreshing barley tea, served iced or hot.)
The service from the waiter was quite good as well - fast and friendly. + 1
It's also very convenient if you're going to an event at the Kimmel Center...basically right across the street. And easy to get in and out quickly.
Highly recommended!
We had a great time. I’ve been walking by this place for months I wish I came sooner. A note to anyone ordering something described as hot- it will be super spicy, unlike many restaurants that label hot as a precaution. Enjoy!
Fabulous happy hour bowl, icy cold sake, and superb service.
The Happy Hour Food was way better than the entrees. Assumed with the starters the meal would be good. Downhill from there Found entrees to be bland and pedestrian.
Cheapskate overall, quality and quantity
Will not go back.
Too americanized as well. Judging by ban chan. 6 people with 4 tiny dishes of banchan.
The other Seorabol is superior in every way.
Exceptional caring waitress!
SRB Galbi and What the Dduk were our favorites. Mandoo deserves an honorable mention. Highly recommend happy hour - makes good value a great value. Come hungry!
Great spot for a quick bite and lovely service and affordable
Nice place to have some moments with your loved ones. Nice Ambience and food. Not many entree options with Veg and Chicken. Overall a nice experience though a bit pricey for the taste.
Banchan was terrible, bogolgu was okay but not "good", will look elsewhere next time.
I wish meat dish comes with lettuce, which is customary in Korean restaurants.
Overall very nice, while a bit salty...
My husband and I loved the variety of items to choice from the menu. We had the bulgogi. Tender and juicy. We will be back soon.
The sides were very good, but the main food for us was bland, not sure if that is just Korean food or not since this was our first time trying it.
Delicious food and very close to food I have eaten in Seoul. I question the tofu in the Sundubu Jijgae (one of my favorite parts of my soup). In Korea, the tofu was very creamy, liquidy, and velvety (I think it comes in a tube?), the tofu here was silken tofu in cubes and smaller pieces like softly scrambled eggs. It was tasty, but, not an improvement over the traditional.
The kimchi was very good--just spicy enough.
We really enjoyed and will be back.
Great food, attentive (but not too attentive) service. I've liked everything I've had there. My favorites are the stews.
Great food. Casual atmosphere and delicious meal. Bring s date here to show a chill night with Great food
Great little spot, reasonable prices, but noise level so high it was difficult to carry on a conversation. Adding some sound baffling to walls would help.
Restaurant had an ad to get us in the door. Did not honour the deal, citing it only applied to certain items. Not indicated in the text, which manager agreed with but nevertheless did not honour. Food was mediocre.
Food was absolutely delicious! Would go again!!!
Food was only okay, bbq was over cooked. Portions are small. Would not go back
