After 23 years of experience, in 2014 Chef Jemiko opened Senza Gluten Restaurant, the first 100% full-dining Gluten Free Italian Restaurant in NYC, located at 206 Sullivan Street. It instantly became a “to-go place” not only for the tourists but mainly for the locals. His goal was to accommodate thousands of people with celiac disease and other allergies.
In 2022, Chef Jemiko L. Solo decided to leave and separate from Senza Gluten Restaurant and rename his business Senza Gluten by Jemiko. Since then, he has concentrated on the Cafe & Bakery and most importantly he developed a new plan for opening a restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen in 2023 – Senza Gluten By Jemiko 100% Italian Gluten-Free Restaurant.

My husband who is not gluten free had the calamari and chicken parmigiana and thought it was really good. I had the spinach and ricotta gnocchi and thought it was fantastic. We also had the tiramisu which was amazing and our server was very nice, attentive and also let’s us know about Senza gluten bakery in the village. I would highly recommend this restaurant even if your not gluten free. I can’t wait to go again

Wonderful experience from the moment I arrived. I was sat on the back patio and it was very relaxing there. The hostess was very welcoming and my server could not have been better. To be able to eat and drink anything from the menu is an amazing opportunity for someone with celiac. The rice balls were fantastic, the gnocchi was great, and the dessert was to die for! Be aware they only accept cash and AmEx. I want this place to be successful so on my next visit to Manhattan, I can stop by again-hopefully with the same server. She definitely made my evening!

As someone who needs to eat gluten free, it felt so good to be able to eat anything on the menu. Delicious food and a great experience. My mother who is not gluten free said that she would even go without me because it was so good. You would never know the difference! Absolutely amazing!!

What a treat!
The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is warm and attentive.
The food is exquisite and the freedom of it all being gluten free is just so amazing!
The cocktails and wine list are also terrific !
This will become a regular stop whenever I’m in town!
My birthday eclair was decadent !!
none of the other guests had celiac and none of them missed the gluten.
One of my friends is from Italy and he was very impressed with the lasagne being very authentic.
He also loved the calamari.

Amazing restaurant especially for those who are gluten free like me. It’s like everything I’ve been missing brought to life and delicious. Every dish is so delicious from the appetizers to desserts. My husband could not believe everything was gluten free as it was so flavorful. The space is also lovely with a patio in the back. Great vibe for a date or family style dining. We left with our tummies and hearts full.

It’s so freeing, as a gluten-free person, knowing you can eat everything on the menu, AND the bread on the table! Would highly recommend the bruschetta, molten chocolate cake and the eclair. The shrimp risotto was super bland and disappointing though.

The dishes I enjoyed were so special that I returned the next day. The Senza Gluten experience has ALWAYS been delightful but this new location is simply LOVELY and the staff provides impeccable service. Emran was my server both days and he made sure that my allergies were communicated to the kitchen and offered wonderful suggestions as well as attentive service. The garden is lovely and very tranquil. The inside is well lit with high-end atmosphere. The front patio offers connection to the buzz of the city. If you are celiac or not…please put this restaurant on your list for NYC. You will not regret it!

I found this place because I was looking for a nice restaurant with a good gluten-free menu for a friend with Celiacs. Nothing here tasted gluten-free. The texture of the bread alone was worth finding this place.

Senza Gluten by Jemiko is a wonderful experience for both people who follow a gluten free diet and those who do not. My only complaint is that the pasta was made of corn and kind of interfered with the flavor of the sauce on the chicken parm dish - the chicken was outstanding though. Am already planning my next dinner there.

I absolutely loved the first location and I couldn't wait to check out the newest one. I was not disappointed. The food was lovely with generous portions. The staff was knowledgeable and able to also accommodate my dairy allergy. My ONLY complaint is that the calamari is marinated in buttermilk so I couldn't have it.

Excellent first experience! The food is delicious and the products are of very good quality. I invited my grandparents who had never tried gluten free food, they didn't notice the difference and found it excellent. The interior of the restaurant is charming and the staff very nice, helpful and available. Best creme brulee I've ever had. The tiramisu is also delicious and light.
The only issue is that you can only pay with cash or american express. When we came the ATM installed in the restaurant was not working so we had to go outside, but we had a refund of the withdrawal fee and a commercial gesture on the bill.

I've been dining at Senza for over 7 years and Jemiko's new restaurant is a fantastic journey to a very nostalgic taste for me.
The two dishes missed the most were the Aragosta which was served in a bigger portion than ever (thank you!) and also the Filleto de Manzo, which was as so soft you could almost eat it with just a fork. And that sauce ....
The best creme brulee anywhere and the best service you could ask for. Amazing wait staff.
So happy to have another gluten free restaurant to visit, I will be there often!
By the way, this restaurant is worldwide famous, celiacs from everywhere hail this as the best complete gluten free restaurant. Give it a try, I myself am not celiac and have eaten here on many important occasions and holidays.
By the way this Senza takes the cake on the price point in my opinion.

As my spouse needs to be gluten free, we went to Senza Gluten after a show. Lovely interior and place settings, and excellent service. While she wasn’t real impressed with the bread basket as a starter, we both loved the lasagna which honestly tasted like the regular dish.

The food was delicious - we started with the cauliflower appetizer and it is fantastic! Then we ordered the mushroom ravioli and the lobster dish, both were excellent. The desserts were fantastic too, we ordered the tiramisu and red velvet cake. Many compliments to Chef Jemiko!
The restaurant is lovely and Saba was extremely helpful and friendly - the entire team is doing a wonderful job.

We can not say enough how much we love this newest Senza Gluten By Jemiko restaurant. The location and dining space is very nice and we are so glad it has opened here last week. The options range from warm bread basket, appetizers, main course and the all important desserts. I am already thinking of some errand to so I can go eat here again.
