We LOVE Senti!!!! Have gotten to know the owner - he is always very hospitable and takes personal interest in those dining with him...it is our favorite restaurant!!!
The atmosphere and staff were inviting and responsive throughout the evening. We began with cocktails at the bar that were very enjoyable. Our table of 7 shared appetizers that were all unusual in preparation, nicely portioned and delicious. We all had not so traditional Italian main courses that everyone enjoyed with gusto, from the spaghetti arabiatta with octopus, to the osso bucco to the bronzini, to name a few. It was a very nicely adorned setting that invited an engaging meal and fun evening. The nice variety of desserts should not be missed. We will return. Thank you!
Food was excellent. We thought portions were good for the money. Waitress was excellent and very nice
Drink was great. Salad was great. Disappointed with menu. Little choices. Lasagna was flavorless. Ambiance was great! Staff was nice and pleasurable!
They were very busy and we didn’t get service for over 10-15 minutes but once we did .. the server was great and food was amazing. The Branzino, fresh and fantastic!
House focaccia was the high point. Excited to try it but definitely disappointed.
The food was craveworthy! I cannot wait to go back for more. The ambiance was nice and very comfortable. Overall excellent experience.
Food and service were excellent. The restaurant was upscale but relaxed with clean modern decor. We had a wonderful evening.
One of our favorite restaurants. Never had a bad meal, service is friendly and professional and also engaging, but only if you want them to be - which is perfect.
Aside from the delicious and inventive food, they also have a great bartender that knows how to prepare a cocktail. And when we've been there for a special occasion they've helped execute our special requests.
We highly recommend them. A+ *
We introduced our friends to Senti this week and Franco was a gracious host as always. Our dinners were excellent. The Branzino with greens & beans and the pork osso bucco were prepared perfectly by chef Antonio. Our wait staff, Nicole was very knowledgable about the extensive wine offerings. A very enjoyable evening!
Wait and kitchen staff were super flexible in regards to substitutions and turning an appetizer into an entree-sized serving.
Great service and all the dishes were outstanding!
Had a delicious dinner at Senti again.
Delicious Italian...authentic Italian.
The Frito misto reminded us of the street fish cones in the Cinque Terre!
Portions are large. Bring an appetite. Clean, pristine, quiet. No noise.
Excellent food , wine and ambience
Great food and service. Knowledgeable servers. Owner is also very nice!
We had a very nice dinner - chefs for both classic and modern trying to do their best with some personal touches. The staff were very helpful and their wine knowledge impressive. I would prefer to make other visits before writing a proper review.
First time at Senti, will definitely be back! Great service, great food and perfect enviornment.
The food and service were excellent! Every time I dine at Senti the food and wine have been exquisite. The wait people are very friendly and knowledgeable.
WE love this place Great atmosphere. Great food Not the run of the mill fast food type
Our visit to Senti was a mixed bag. The waitress was very prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered the Fritto Misto as an appetizer and we were a bit disappointed for $14.00. The portion was very small for two and less than dynamic quality as well. The vegetables were so thin that they were even difficult to pick up with a fork and only a few shrimp on the plate. Overall we were disappointed with the size ,quality and price of the appetizer.
My date ordered the lasagna and I ordered the Brodetto Di Pesce Con Pasta which was spaghetti, mussels, scallops , calamari, Shrimp and the fish of the day. I asked the waitress if the chef could leave out the fish of the day as I am not a fish fan and perhaps include extra shrimp or one of the other shellfish. She told me that I would have to pay extra to have this done. While I thought this was odd to simply substitute items, I agree that I would be willing to do this. The waitress came back from the kitchen and stated that the chef was not willing to remove the fish from the dish and that I would either have to take it as it is on the menu or order something else. I have dined in many high end restaurants in the country and I have never had a chef push back on a reasonable ask from the customer. This set us up for an unfavorable view of Senti right out of the gates. I then ordered the Spaghetti Arrabiata con Polipo as my second choice. Both of our meals were very good in the end. However , we lost all interest in ordering dessert. Upon leaving the restaurant there was a couple coming into the restaurant who had 9:00 reservations. The hostess asked them to sit in the lounge area until their table was ready. There had to be at least 8-10 open tables at that time. Seemed like a ploy to get the couple to order extra cocktails. Overall, our experience was OK. The main course was very good, but the attitude of the restaurant was lacking. We won't be coming back
Excellent service. Great food. We will be happy to return someday.
Ambiance and service was very nice. Overall experience was good but the food was just OK in my opinion. Nothing really stood out. High prices for an OK meal.
Excellent food, great atmosphere, would definitely recommend!!
Arrived early before they opened approx 430 dt not knowing where it was etc was made extremely welcome by the staff and owner served drinks waited for kitchen to be ready was seated service was great the staff helped each other food was excellent have already made reservations to go back could be my new place to go
The food was excellent!! I would highly recommend the lasagna and the tiramisu martini!!
The server at Senti’s I think Ellen? Red hair made our experience ! Honestly so attentive and engaging. Quite a joy! Food very good but would come for lunch because of the option of salad or soup with meal instead of dinner
Steak was perfect, wine suggestion just right. Appetizer led to great conversation.
Great as always
Food was excellent, as always. Definitely our "go to" upscale Italian restaurant here in Pittsburgh.
A little pricey but well worth it.
As usual, excellent food and great service. We dined on Valentine's Day evening, obviously a busy time, but the quality of the food and the service were up to their normal high standards. We began by sharing an excellent Rucola salad, arugula with sliced apples and shaved parmesan. I then had a new dish on the menu, Fritto Misto, fried seafood (mostly calamari with a little shrimp) and a few pieces of fried vegetable plus dipping sauces of horseradish marinara and a mild but tangy green salsa - all delicious. I then had very good Ossobuco di Maiale, pork shank, most of which I took home. It tasted even better the next day. My wife had two first courses, Capasante, a superb dish of scallops with shaved fennel , tiny cubes of bacon and blood orange segments, and Glazed Pork Belly, which was delicious and much less fatty than most pork belly dishes. We finished by sharing an order of chocolate bread pudding with chocolate sauce served in a little puddle of sauce Anglaise. Unfortunately, I only received a very small "share" of this marvelous dessert. This excellent repast was accompanied by a bottle of Collefrisio Confronto, an unusual 50:50 blend of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Primotivo. This delicious plummy wine went well with everything. This review may read like something the owner might write, but I assure you that I am only a very satisfied customer, one who wishes that he ate at Senti more often.
$20 for two scallops was a little bit of a shock. The food was great but seemed over priced
Not to busy due to snow storm but service was excellent and food outstanding. We will be back!
All of our meals were fabulous, dessert was delicious, the bread is amazing. We had a wonderful very knowledgeable server. Our table was a little chilly every once in a while during our meal. We will definitely be back!
I dined here on a Tuesday and there were only a couple of tables booked, which was fine by me. Krista, my waitress was very nice and attentive. The owner was also there and he was very nice and approachable. I love when the owner or GM personally stops at each table to make sure you are enjoying your time.
I dined on the branzino that was served with greens and beans. It was a very light dish and was served without the head, which is my preference. For dessert, I had the chocolate bread pudding and it was very good, but really rich. Senti is known for their homemade pasta and I will definitely be back to try a signature dish.
Amazing food, excellent service, and cozy ambiance.
Terrific in all ways! A treat to visit! Great food, atmosphere and service. I love everything I have ever selected there! Wonderful for special occasions. One of the favorites of an elderly friend so it is also 'walker' friendly.
