Birthday dinner. Food and service great!
Excellent food & Service. A hidden gem
This is a very small casual restaurant - and one that I think is overrated.
Four of us had dinner there and were surprised at the setting - and not in a pleasant way. Although the Baklava was pretty good.
There was nothing special about the food - and there was nothing particularly bad about it either.
Prices are reasonable, especially given its location.
If it was not located just steps from the Rehoboth Boardwalk I don’t think it would survive.
Delicious food! Friendly service! Total gem and right off the boardwalk.
Excellent and tasty food. Service was warm and friendly. Will definitely go back!
Went here for dinner at about 7:30p on a Thursday and there was still plenty of tables available. In the front is the area for takeout and walk-ins, while the back is the sit-down restaurant portion.
Service was fine. Nothing special nor bad. I ordered the Grilled Kofte Kabob which was a little bland with the meat. Kind of tasted like a seasonless burger patty. The rice was good. My wife ordered the Musaka and it was very flavorful.
This is a casual restaurant and suitable for a quick sit-down dinner or lunch. A little bit on the expensive side for what you're getting.
We had the eggplant salad yummy. The lamb beef gyro and the plain rice pudding. Everyone was fresh and delicious
Definitely would go back
Good is always fresh & delicious
Authentic!! We never miss an opportunity to dine here. This family ran business is a jewel. One regret is they no longer serve the Turkish tea that compliments the meal. The tabouli is refreshing on a hot beach day. Just enough mint not to over power. Thank you .
Excellent food and excellent service.
Loved the food...the service was great. The location right in downtown Rehoboth is excellent. Great for sit down meals or you can do take out. The Gyros/Shawarmas were great!
It has solid Mediterranean food but it is just above a diner ambiance. In fact you walk through the open grill area to get to the dining room and that area look like it would front onto the boardwalk. We were expecting a much finer dining experience. That said, the food was quite good and the owners and waiters/waitresses seemed like an extended family. They were lovely and polite.
EXCELLENT as always. One of my Rehoboth favorites
This is a "OK" place to eat, not great. The sauce overpowered the beef so we had very little idea how the beef was. The pastry was a bit to "puffy", not "layered and flakey". Still, OK for a quick bite.
Exellent. Food always fresh, service great. Highly recommend
This was the second time we've eaten here since moving to the Lewes area a little over a year ago. The food is Excellent, the owners and staff are great, the value is great. We will eat there many more times in the future and bring friends with us that are down visiting. We highly recommend trying Semra's if you haven't already.
Get the Choban salad! It was amazingly delicious and I almost went back for lunch the next day for a second helping. The kebob and rice pudding were also delicious.
Excellent. Foods is always delicious and fresh. Service outstanding.
I have eaten here several times. The food was excellent every time!
excellent food at good value, pleasant service, easy to reserve.
Fabulous food, fresh and delicious. Very close to the boardwalk. A hidden gem.
Loved this restaurant's menu. The homemade Borek (flaky dough stuffed with feta) were light and perfectly cooked. Excellent appetizers. Falafel on the pita bread was so savory and tasty. And the deserts were exquisitely fresh. Would go there once a week if I lived at the beach.
Food and service were excellent. If you're tired of eating french fries, pizza and burgers on your beach vacation, try Semra's for a nice change of pace.
As always, we had a great meal and great service.
If you like Greek/ Mediterranean cuisine. This place has some of the best. Hidden little Gem on the main drag in Rehoboth. A few doors away from the Boardwalk. Grab a quick Gyro out front and take out. Or relax in the Full Dining room in back. Great appetizers. Authentic Greek entrees. Great dining for Vegetarians. Awesome desserts.
We were on Vacation and decided to come here.
If you want Greek food stick to their Greek Salad and Lamb Gyros sold over the counter on Rehoboth Ave and eat them on a bench outside. That's my plan for next time. The dinner portions are small and overpriced. I had what was a deconstructed gyro at twice the price! They were out of Greek wine (really), and the glass of house white for $9 (+ tip) was quite mediocre at best.
We loved the food - everything was excellent! The dishes seemed to be authentic and the baclava was the best I've ever had. The service was just right. The prices were a bit high but it is, after all, less than one block from the Boardwalk.
Lamb was perfection. Everything made on premises, exceptional authenticity. Rice pudding was perfect.
Very mediocre. Gyro was horrible. Meat was dry and not as good as a mall kiosk. Lamb kabobs OK. Appetizers average. In general- not worth the visit with so many better options
Staff were friendly. Food and service was very good. Nice casual dining option.
Love the flavors. Very authentic Mediterranean food.
Sometimes, good things come in different packaging. We ate at Semra’s on a Saturday in the off-season. It is on the main drag of Rehoboth Avenue, very near to pizza parlors, French fry shops, ice cream stands, etc., so it’s easy to miss. But there is some quality Mediterranean food behind the modest storefront. There is casual table service in the back. We had hummus and pita and stuffed grape leaves for appetizers, both quite good. We then had felafel sandwiches, chicken gyro sandwiches and a chicken over salad entree that all satisfied. Baklava and rice pudding put a nice cap on the meal. Service was good, prices reasonable. Really a pleasant surprise. Recommended.
Are visit was absolutely fantastic. The food was awesome and the service was very personable.
Love this place. Food is fresh and delicious and service excellent, a hidden gem
The food was good, not great. We've had lots of Mediterranean food at different places before that was better. Disappointed in the hummus. There was absolutely zero atmosphere. But, for a lunch right off the boardwalk with healthier and good food, I would recommend it.
Excellent food and fast service! Will go again for sure.
