This little restaurant is a gem. Farm to table cuisine prepared VERY creatively, with an ever-changing menu. Our waitress was friendly and professional, with prompt service. Our meals were unique and tasty, leaving us feeling satisfied and healthy. We'll be back.
We got to Red Bank several times a year but this is the first time we tried Semolina. The fresh made pasta was an exciting option. While it took the server a little while to acknowledge us after we were seated, after that everything was excellent. The server was knowledgeable about the menu, made suggestions when requested, and was attentive once we ordered and food arrived. My peach panzanella salad was excellent. My husband enjoyed his roasted honeynut squash, recently added for fall. The menu changes constantly, with 1 to 2 new items added each week. The pasta is excellent, they have a number of unique preparations. We had the Agnolotti and the Fettucine, both were excellent. Dessert and coffee were also very good, the dark chocolate panna cotta is very delicious. Next time we may try one of their entrees!

We had a great dinner at Semolina. We shared the Peach Panzanella and the Agnolotti. We both had the CORIANDER SPICED YELLOWFIN TUNA. We always hate to recommend a particular dish because the menu changes so frequently to provide the freshest, best tasting protein. We have always had wonderful dinners at Semolina. And don’t forget to save room for dessert. They are always a treat.
Farm to table with handmade pasta. Some hits and misses. Great appetizers. AGNOLOTTI with Corn & Ricotta, Pistachios, Green Onions -delicious - but my wheat pasta with pork was way too salty. Zepole was a miss but pie was wonderful!

Each course was innovative and delicious. The peach tart could have used a bit of sugar. all else great. Our waitress was lovely and knowledgeable. Restaurant was tight and somewhat loud. we were very pleased with the experience!

We have enjoyed dining at Semolina all summer. The food and service is always amazing. I have a food allergy and appreciate the attention taken to ensure not only that I eat safely but that I truly enjoy the meal.
Semolina has a very interesting menu emphasizing local food. They also make all their pasta fresh, and it is outstanding. Bread for the table is gorgeous, hot, and crusty. Service is expert and excellent.
Our 2 couples ordered 4 appetizers to share around. Because they normally prepare appetizers with 3 pieces, our server intelligently offered to add a 4th piece to each for a small upcharge. All were great, and the tempura zucchini blossoms were particularly noteworthy.
3 of us loved our entrees. My chitarra (egg pasta) with crab and pine nuts was perfect pasta in a rather bland pesto, with no discernable flavors from the crab or pine nuts.
Desserts were excellent.
We went at 5:45 on Tuesday, because low noise level is important to us. When the restaurant "Dish" occupied this space, they were notorious for high noise, but Semolina has added a few small acoustic panels. As soon as 2 other tables were occupied, it became hard to hear. By 6:30 the room was full and the noise was deafening. We measured an average 95dBA on our phone apps.
At 7:15 our server gave us the check and told us that they needed our table for another reservation shortly, but by that time we were happy to escape the noise.
The food was absolutely incredible! Would definitely go back. Can't wait to try the fall menu.

Agnolotti with corn was amazing. Our server Monica was super nice and informative. Removed cork from older wine with finesse. Pork chop entree was perfectly prepared and one of the best, most flavorful I have experienced. Seared tuna also excellent. Can’t wait to return!

Everything fresh, homemade and delicious. The pasta dishes were all that and more. The restaurant is noisy and it’s hard to hear the other couple at your table. You raise your voices, the table next to you gets even louder and the cycle continues, but the food was great.
Bacon Jam Berkshire pork chop was delicious. Service was timely.

This farm to table restaurant does so much right. Their homemade pastas are fantastic and their use of local fresh ingredients makes it that much better. We've been enjoying their food all summer. Some recent outstanding entrees are the tuna, scallops and pork chop. Very friendly yet professional staff. BYOB, always a bonus! Make your reservation, you won't be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I visited Semolina last Friday evening. We arrived five minutes before our reservation and were greeted by the hostess and one of the servers who were both extremely friendly. We were sat right away and our table was attended to immediately with bread and water. Our server, Monica, greeted us and gave us a detailed overview of the menu. We had a difficult time choosing what to order because everything looked so good, so we asked Monica for recommendations. She recommended multiple appetizers and entrées and we were able to narrow down our choices. Once our order was placed, all of the courses came out of the kitchen in a very timely manner. It was quick, but we didn’t feel rushed. Monica was extremely attentive and made sure our wine glasses were always full and she checked back frequently to see if we were satisfied with the dishes that she recommended. I have to say I am so happy we took her advice because everything was so incredibly delicious! For an appetizer we had the fresh whole-wheat fettuccine with pork ragu. The cherries added a great pop of sweetness to lighten up the hearty ragu. We also shared the corn agnolotti that was to die for! For our entrees, my boyfriend ordered the porkchop with bacon jam, agrodolce collard greens and cashew hummus. After taking a couple of bites, he made sure to tell Monica that this porkchop was by far the best he has ever had! I ordered the New York strip steak with broccoli chimichurri which was cooked and seasoned to perfection! We didn’t have room for dessert, but had to order the homemade zeppolis and they did not disappoint. They were light and fluffy and a perfect ending to our perfect dinner. I would highly recommend Semolina to anybody that is visiting the Red Bank area. The food is delicious and fresh and all of the staff members are extremely friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Pasta (wheat fettuccine, chittara) and entrees (pork chop, yellowfin tuna) were outstanding as was service. Dessert (peach tart and zeppelin) was not so special, but acceptable. Went early to avoid noise level which tends to build to unacceptable level at prime time.
Some of the best food in Monmouth County right now. An absolute must try, don’t miss out on this experience.
