One of my wife and my favorite restaurants. Great food, Excellent service. Very creative dishes. We are overwhelmed and surprised every time we go there.
The food continues to be as advertised and is AMAZING. The servers are all extremely professional, polite and engaging. Our server Shelby is married to one of the chef’s and is gracious, as well as, very knowledgeable and very helpful. We were fortunate to have her guide us and her recommendations were spot on! The pastas are the best I’ve had outside of Italy and the “lemon spaghetti” was outrageous.
We can’t wait to go again for another outstanding dining experience.

It was wonderful to find Chef Lesbirel back doing what he does so well - inventing and executing remarkable food. Pastas are house-made innovations (cocoa tagliatelle this time; squid ink spaghetti on a previous visit). Seafood dishes are flawless in freshness and preparation (locally sourced skate this trip, and day boat scallops in several different ways that make it hard to chose anything else.
The wait staff (the "Amazing" Monica, on this Wednesday evening) is approachable, informed, pleasant, and attentive.
The space is small but comfortable. We usually prefer to dine during mid-week or on Sunday around 6:30 so that we can actually get a table and the noise of happy diners isn't daunting. Of course, being able to see the menu on-line helps you know what wine(s) might be best for the meal. BYOB helps to keep an elegant meal affordable. A home run deep into the black seats in center field.

great menu and a wide selection of choices. So happy the carbonara was still on the menu! Scallops over the leek puree was delish and your meal starts with the BEST bread!
This was the first time at this restaurant, and it definitely won't be the last. The menu is innovative with lots of choices for everyone. We had a few appetizers to share - beef tartare, pork belly, and the carbonara pasta. They were all delicious, but the pasta was extraordinarily yummy. Should have gotten an order to go! For dinner, two of us had the scallops (cooked perfectly) in a leek puree, one ordered the short rib which was superb, and the last ordered the short rib ravioli. All dishes were excellent. The desserts were also amazing. Everything was so fresh. Looking forward to going back soon since the menu changes with the seasons. Definitely a must for foodies!!!!
We had a wonderful meal..... Everything from soup to dessert was incredible. It’s a BYOB which makes it very affordable.We will be back.

We really liked the food here. Our server Monica was wonderful. I had the scallops and my husband had the swordfish. Really good! Could use a little healthy vegetables on the plate. Very friendly, BYOB a plus $ go to food.
Semolina is our new favorite place:-) The food and service are excellent. The menu is Farm to table and never disappoints. Highly recommend.
A nice dining experience, with room for improvement. My main dish, the day-boat scallops were the best scallops I've ever had - outstanding. For appetizers, my wife enjoyed the Baby Burrata.
The COCOA PAPPARDELLE was too salty. And while the taste of the Cauliflower soup was excellent, it tasted more like a cream than a soup. Great for dipping bread, but too rich to eat with a spoon. Would have preferred a more hearty vegetable soup with texture and less cream.
Food was fantastic and our server was great.

This was my fourth time dining at Semolina, and each time the food has been excellent. Server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Appetizer course we had the fresh burrata and steak tartare, both fresh and delicious. The middle course pork ragu parpadelle had incredible flavors. For the main course the pork remains the best I have ever had (tender and large) and the braised short rib also recommended as well.
our guests were disappointed in the restrictive menu. one of our guests was gluten intolerant and although she would have liked to try the pasta sauce was unable to. she suggested maybe using a vegtable such as squash with the sauce. Also she complained the chicken was overcooked

The food was delicious from tuna tartare appetizer, puttanesca entree to the lemon tart dessert. I love that it is BYOB. I have actually gone there two or three times this month. I am a bit addicted. I loved every dish except the shaved beet salad (not enough flavor) and the riff on carbonara (also a little bland), but literally everything else I have ordered was amazing!!!!!Did I mention their mouth watering pork chops???!!! The zeppoli dessert?!!!? Yummmm. Please be warned that the front staff likes prompt arrivals for reservations and will give your table away if you are over 10 minutes late so get your a** there on time or experience the wrath of the front staff.
We love this place! We’ve had Monica at our table our last few visits and she’s excellent! Menu changes, all with great new dishes! Suggestions: make a reservation, get the pork chops, and follow them on IG for new dishes!!! This is how we found out about the chitarra carbonara and it was amazing!

The restaurant is a true GEM. The food was outstanding and it is our go to restaurant for all occasions. The only place comparable with pasta was in Italy. The seafood preparation was impressive. NY quality at reasonable prices. Will make multiple reservations to ensure that we can enjoy this restaurant at our leisure! BRAVO !
