Overpriced for what was served. Portions too small. $32 for a tuna steak was finished in 4 bites. Same with linguine dish. Asked for sauce on the side. Was charged $5. Went home hungry. $90 for 2 people. Not worth it.

Menu is always changing - we love this! Meaning.......fresh and new each time we visit or we can still stick to the items that are favorites. Servers and hosts are friendly and "on time". Noise level is a little high but who cares - the food is superb.

All the dishes were very tasty, the one that stood out the most, was the pork chop, absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection.

I have been to Semolina's several times now..never disappointed. Our favorite is the Berkshire porkchop. They only take reservations for up to a table for 4, so not a spot to share with big groups.

We arrived on time for dinner. We were seated 15
Minutes late which was ok because they have a nice waiting area. Immediately upon seating however the busboy told us how he couldn’t wait to go home. The busboy then proceeded to have an impressively bad attitude the entire night. Our waitress was great. The food phenomenal. I’d go back for lunch or takeout. I felt a little embarrassed for my guests who had never been out in Red Bank before.

As usual, we are never disappointed when we dine at Semolina. Chef Chuck always wows us with his culinary talents and his wait staff is top notch. Very friendly and efficient. Semolina will always be our place to go for that special night or just when we want to treat ourselves to a delicious, enjoyable dinner.
We were seated immediately and greeted by everyone in such a welcoming manner. Everything we ordered was delicious especially the Halibut. Everything is fresh and prepared with lots of local fresh ingredients. Don't miss this gem! Thank you to Richie for always being so accommodating and so so welcoming.

Every bite was fantastic! Eggplant, malfade and pork chop was top notch.
Trying! Not bad but some real value traps. Peach panzanella salad, you have got to be kidding me. $16 for what seemed like someone's leftovers. Hardened tiny croutons making up the bulk of the salad. The word bulk is meant to denote a percentage because bulk should not be associated with a salad that was 1/3 or a 1/4 of the size it should have been. A few, five or six small pieces of peach, a few strands of arugala...too dry and didn't work. Pastas more their forte but not all winners. Miserly use of protein where used. Pork ragu... hardly, more like a few small pieces of pork. Linguini Vongole lacking garlic, salt, flavor. Most pastas in a semi dry sauced state. I am not a pasta over saucer but the bread struggled to find any leftovers. The pork chop was good, some found it salty, not me. The cabbage agrodolce lifts it. The beef cheeks were soo rich really needed something similar to cut the fat, I couldn't finish it. The other items on the plate added nothing. Desserts, kind of a pass. Pistachio panna cotta, slightly odd flavor, not rich, not creamy. How can a panna cotta miss? White chocolate budino, okish, thank the gods for the berries. A bowl of sameness, the crunchie not big or crunchy enough. The peach tart underwhelming. $300 tax and tip for four people at a byob, thank the gods for wine and family for a nice night out. Also, why toast the bread without adding something. Kills the beauty of fresh bread....ohhh, Service was pretty good. Hopping on a Wednesday night.

The food and service were outstanding. We particularly liked the Eggplant chips appetizer and the tuna, pork chops, and halibut entrees. The person who ordered the beef cheeks with roasted acorn squash really enjoyed it. The desserts were excellent. My favorite was the Jersey peach tart.
The pastas and fish were near perfectly prepared. the flavors and freshness of the ingredients special and I dare say I can't say a bad word about our meal.

The food here never disappoints. I'm sad that the outdoor service is ending since its so nice and quiet outside. The indoor dining tends to be noisy simply because of the small size .

The food was delicious! Everything tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. The presentation was lovely. Food choices were unusual and offered a break from the same old, same old restaurant choices. In season fruits and vegetables were used for entrees, appetizers and desserts. Pasta was home made. We also liked the small, intimate size of the restaurant. I wish we weren't from out of town. I can't wait to go back again!
Some of the best restaurant food we have ever eaten. The tuna with coponata was just incredible as were the salads we had. Fresh well prepared food with fine service at a fair price an excellent combination. Don't miss this restaurant.
