Great Brunch place!!

We ate early 4:45, great service. We were indoors but the outside dining looked inviting too. Always good Cajun food, they'll tone down the spices if you ask. Domestic $2.50 other beers $6.00. Look for them on Groupon.

I was there for a business lunch. The outdoor seating was very comfortable and eye appealing. The food was delicious and the service was good as well. Definitely will return!

The only things that worked at Selena's last Wednesday night was that we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation and our server was excellent. The noise in the entire place was deafening; none of us in our party could understand nor hear the server's description of the specials; the tables on either side of us were clearly not socially distanced; and the food was AWFUL (stuffed shrimp overcooked and couldn't find a shrimp in the breading, etc.) It was overpriced and absolutely not worth it. We will not be returning and forwarded our displeasure to the two vintage car clubs that we belong to - don't even think about having a dinner as a club here.

The fried brussels sprouts were amazing and Brian provided great service!

Have eaten at Selena’s many times and always a favorite. Had never gone for buffet at Selena’s. So many choices which made it wonderful and well worth the price.

It's ALWAYS a great experience here! We're long time customers who'd hoped to sit out on the patio but Mother Nature said it was "too cold" for me...we ate inside at a nice booth.

Selena's menu is priced above what we pay for a really nice dish at Varanese in Louisville. The quality of the food we ordered was mediocre at best. Not bad but definitely not on par with some of the best in Louisville. For the money, I would go elsewhere until someone in our party requests Selena's.

Great place to get some really good News Orleans food. I couldn't decide what to get... It, all sounded great. I got the New Orleans Medley it was awesome. We will definitely be back!

I had the grilled salmon on top of the 1979 salad and it was delicious. I also got a bowl of the gumbo to go so I could have it for lunch the next day. It was very good too. My friend’s order however wasn’t right and the server never came back to our table to check on us. We had to flag down another server to send her back to us.

Love the outdoor seating. The trains do create a noise issue. We had 3 go by during our dinner, but it is hard to blame Selena’s. We look forward to our next visit.

Each experience has been great. That’s why we continue to return!

Disappointed in our night out...didnt order alcohol and waitress seemed to forget us ...no bread til our dinner was finished

Bad service, she was ready to leave because she had to come back in a hour to do a double shift!

Experience was just ok. We were a party of 6 and all of us thought our entrees were just MEH.... what saved the evening were the appetizers and the dessert. Service was average - manager was a little brusque for my personal taste, not very friendly. Best part of the night was the bread pudding we had for dessert. Honestly, I probably will not go back.

Selena’s at Willow Lake Tavern is absolutely the best in Louisville. The food is always consistently good, service impeccable, quaint atmosphere and Alan, Ray, JR and Kyle are fantastic!

It took 20 minutes before someone came and attend us .

Amazing brunch and outstanding friendly service. Our glasses never got close to empty and the food was perfection.

I liked the atmosphere, it is older brick style and aesthetically pleasing. Food is good. Waited 25 mins for someone to approach us for beverages. All of the tables surrounding us were receiving service. Not the greatest impression with this being my first visit. They did compensate us. That was appreciated.

Asked for salad dressing on the side. First nothing but lettuce in chefs salad. The got salad drenched in dressing . Could not eat it. Surly waitress topped it off! Not a good experience.

Great time celebrating a birthday. The bread pudding for the birthday lady was excellent. Thanks for a great afternoon.

The menu had items beyond the typical fare which was what drew us to try Selena’s. The food was served hot and was delicious. The service was a bit slow, however we came at the change of shift.

Food was great! Waitress was great!! Had reservations and had to wait! Hostess had an attitude!! Not good for a first impression when you walk in!!!

My husband got the huge bowl of red beans and rice & loved it, & I got the tavern salad with the fruit in it & a piece of blackened mahi on it. Delicious! We also shared the appetizer fried oysters which had a great batter & were yummy!

Great food in a comfortable setting. Eating outdoors is always a pleasure and the new landscaping is very inviting. If you like Cajun food you need to pay them a visit. One good thing is that they take reservations. No waiting!!!!!!!!

We arrived early and they accomodated us. However they put us in a "walk-way" table. Servers, others going to the outside seating constantly were opening doors and walking past us. It was not the best for dining. Otherwise excellent experience.

Everything was wonderful as always! I do wish that on a Sunday afternoon they offered the lunch menu as well. We had reservations at 1:30 and some of our party didn't really want to order breakfast that late in the day.

The brunch was fantastic. The 4 of us all ordered different meals and all were pleased. For starters the praline and brie and the beignets are a must
