Everything was excellent! The presentation, taste and quality was amazing. Will be back.
Didn’t feel hygiene enough to dine in. Should know that dishwasher isn’t a magic that cleans everything throughly when stains are clearly wipeable even with a tissue. Menu is like a book and therefore unsatisfactory food quality is expected.
Pretty good Korean made Japanese food. A bit expensive for the quantity and quality of food. Service was pretty good. Very nice interior décor.
Most of the foods were fresh and well prepared. But Scallop and king mushroom dishes missing the king mushroom. I could not find where they used king mushroom.
Love the ambience and deco setting of the restaurant. Each dish was a piece of art and the flavours are impressive. Great recommendations! My go to sushi place, a little far but worth!
Good food and lots of variety. Great Four Winds beer on tap and you can get a jug of it. Good quality food and i liked the Nasu Dengaku.
I don't mind spending a few more bucks for a high quality food but the prices here are high for what you get
foods is delicious, and good services, will come again
Food is very fresh, beautifully plated and delicious! Service is fast!
The only thing was the scallops were a little over done and a little too spicy.
food is delicious and good services, will come again
Slightly pricier than your average jap food but food is just okay for me.
Great birthday dinner. Delicious food and great service.
Food not worth it for price paid, ambience/decor very nice though. Service staff needed more training - did not know menu, and were openly scolded by chef/supervisor at front of house.
tldr - looks fancy, not worth price, poor service.
The best Japanese Cuisine you will ever find in the city. The atmosphere is fresh and modern with a rustic feel. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. This all made for an amazing first impression and experience.
Great experience with both food and service !
more people should try the food at this amazing restaurant
While pricey, the service, food, ambience and safety protocols were excellent. We really enjoyed the experience. The seafood Okonomi Yaki was a treat. We loved this dish when we visited Japan and it equally good at Seiza.
Delicately delicious with a wide assortment of 'fresh' fish all beautifully plated and exquisite to taste. Along with Seiza's aesthetic surroundings and quiet attentive service they have become our go to for a fine dining experience of reasonably priced Japanese cuisine
Wonderful food and always a very elegant setting,
Have been many times . Highly recommended for all occasions.🍱
Had a wonderful experience for my birthday there. Staff were very welcoming and super accommodating! Would recommend 100%
Huge menu with quite a few interesting choices I had not seen before. Fun Japanese cocktails & nice atmosphere.
The best Japanese food in Vancouver
I will be back many times and I have already recommended it to friends
The environment today is quiet compared to the last time I was in. Feels very comfy and food was good.
Made a reso for 8:15, arrived and they told us last call for food and drinks was 8:30.
Ordered red wine, they only had 1/3 of a glass left in the whole place, therefore charged me $8 instead of $12 - yes, thank you so much for the 1/3 full glass of the bottom of the bottle house wine for not 1/3 of the price.
Came and put our bill down as we were in the middle of eating.
Then proceeded to bring the card machine over as we were... still eating, telling us we need to pay right away so they can 'close out the system.'
Won't see ya again, Seiza.
The okonomiyaki was delicious and so was the eggplant with sweet miso sauce. The salad with thready French fries on top looked cool but was disappointing. 4.5/5
Overall good food
one of the best Japanese spots I have been to as of yet in Vancouver!
The quality of food has gone downhill since our last visit before COVID. overpriced for what you get. Their pressed sushi fell apart and the sashimi cake really fell apart once we start working on it. The Aburi had too much sauce and also fell apart. The open patio door created a cold draft into the restaurant. Their draft 14oz beer is less than 14oz in actual volume. The service was good.
The food was excellent but the table next to us is too noisy which is very annoying.
The good is amazing. You get outstanding quality Japanese food without having to go downtown. The service is attentive and the atmosphere was great.
Incredible food and dope ambiance with chill hip hop instrumental tracks playing. Defo will come again.
friendly and helpful staff! dog friendly patio! tasty sushi!
they didn't open AC in the dining area.
I like the small portion order sharing.
Like this new place. Food creative something different but i find everything a bit too sweet especially the spinach gomae. Other then that the tempura was superb.
Everything that we ordered was amazing
Our server was not knowledgeable at all this evening. He didn’t know the difference between Don Katsu and Katsu Don and then brought over the wrong dish to us. When we told him the error, he refused to change it for us. The pork turned out to be extremely dry. Such terrible service compared to our first time visiting this venue just a few days ago. Truly disappointed.
Loved the space! The server was so friendly. We also got to have a good chat over lunch. Delicious food too!
Compared to the abundant amount of sushi and Japanese cuisine places in Vancouver, this newly opened eatery does not have a fancy signature dish, rather it has a wide selection of authentic Japanese food while in mid range price that deserves a visit.
food was good but very very slow service
