I like the small portion order sharing.

Like this new place. Food creative something different but i find everything a bit too sweet especially the spinach gomae. Other then that the tempura was superb.

Everything that we ordered was amazing

Our server was not knowledgeable at all this evening. He didn’t know the difference between Don Katsu and Katsu Don and then brought over the wrong dish to us. When we told him the error, he refused to change it for us. The pork turned out to be extremely dry. Such terrible service compared to our first time visiting this venue just a few days ago. Truly disappointed.

Loved the space! The server was so friendly. We also got to have a good chat over lunch. Delicious food too!

Compared to the abundant amount of sushi and Japanese cuisine places in Vancouver, this newly opened eatery does not have a fancy signature dish, rather it has a wide selection of authentic Japanese food while in mid range price that deserves a visit.

Garbage sushi, each plate has a different temperate. Way too much going on. Service was poor.

Saw the good reviews on yelp and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised, the dining room was clean and modern. Food was delicious and came out quickly. All in all a great experience. We will be back.

Excellent presentation and service. The typical sushi fare was very delicious as well. A little on the pricey side but not any more expensive than your usual authentic Japanese restaurants. A very good restaurant overall.

Awesome lunch with girlfriends. Menu had a huge variety of food. They have aburi sushi too. The scallop one is the best!

For a casual meal, most certainly.
For a true Japanese meal. Well. No.
But, for native Japanese, the menu is a good laugh.
New owner should have had a native Japanese person proof read.

The food is way below expectation. The service is great and welcoming.
There are a lot of dishes to choose from, but the display and taste are very so so. It is not close to fancy, just with some salad along with all dishes doesn’t make it nice. The sauce or the taste is on the heavy side. I wish they can just put the sauce on the spoon so we can choose how much we want. My first feeling is like eating in a airport. Paying decent food with a supreme price. The seating is not quite comfortable, the chair is not baby booster friendly. The high chair they provide was super beat up one from ikea. So I had to use my own booster seat which can not set up correctly due to the curve shape of the chair.
The service on the other hand is very good, almost meet up with the downtown Japanese restaurant. Also with a smile!!!

Suspicious at first as restaurant was empty but the food was spectacular. Fresh, high quality ingredients carefully prepared and presented. Excellent service as well. Will certainly return.

This isn't the first time for our family to dine here and everything was awsome the Sushi Cake and the Aburi sushis are GREAT. Friendly Japanese staff and nice atomsphere. You won't be disappointed.

Food and service is always amazing!

There was a large group near us who were behaving as if they were in a bar, doing shots and screeching. Being an open space, the noise filled the space and made it hard for us to talk. They also seemed to be the priority and it took well over an hour to get our food from when we ordered. They were aware and gave us free edamame and one large bottle of beer for six of us to share, but I doubt I’d return cause it wasn’t just one issue, but rather many. Too bad cause the food was pretty good. But there are enough other restaurants that serve similarly good food where I will get my food in a timely manner and be in a relaxed atmosphere where I can hear my own voice never mind the person across from me.

We’ve always like the food there. Service is excellent. But the over-hang window can use regular washing from the outside.

Fresh sashimi, tried chef’s aburi - fresh. Unagi donburi was good. Rolls were good - dragon, caterpillar. Bit pricier for the area but quality and taste are better

Great food, especially house rolls, but unfortunately poor service. Our water glasses were only filled on request. Had to always wave down a waiter.

My favourite Japanese place in the neighbourhood. Love the calm and unique decor. Service is excellent too.

Waiter need improve in english. I can hardly understand what he say. Food is ok but not worth the price. Appertizer came out last..lol.

Very enjoyed the vibes and decores. The food is not very traditional authentic Japanese sushi, it contains a bit too much sauce on top.

Food was delicious and well-priced. We went as a large group and the service was great. I would definitely go again. Get the Unagi Hitsumabushi!!!
