Mediocre food. Terrible service. Weird environment.
Very, very trendy restaurant with club atop. Service was slow as they are potentially trying to find their groove in this new restaurant. The food and drinks were okay. Atmosphere is trendy but not really comfortable for dining. The club area up top is definitely for the very young (think early 20s). Though it was cold, none of their heaters were on out on the patio, making that space unusable. Not our scene.
Great bar!! Definitely return.
Our waiter, Shane, was outstanding! The salmon dish was lukewarm. A staff member came out of the downstairs bathroom right before I went in and the toilet hadn’t been flushed and there was curly black hairs all around the sink rim. Given the price of our meal, I expect higher standards.
The food and service was great. The wings were amazing and all the wood oven food was yummy. The ambiance is not at the level where the food was. There are big TVs playing sports and it was loud. Visually the Restaurant looks as if it could be in Miami but the experience was like your local bar. It was confusing.
First time visit - the food, drinks and service was great! The wait staff was very attentive and explained any questions that we had thoroughly. I will definitely go back. The only thing I caution is that if you or anyone in your party has more basic tastes you should take a look at the menu beforehand to make sure there is something on the menu that they would like.
We really enjoyed our dinner at SeeSaw! The service was excellent! Food was great, but I do think the wine was a little overpriced! We will definitely come back again! Thank you!
The drinks and atmosphere was amazing, and the staff was very helpful in guiding us through the menu for the first time. The food was adequate, but not quite up to what was expected. The fried food was just a little too greasy, however the pita bread was fantastic! I would probably visit again to see if my experience was just a one off due to being a new restaurant.
Brick chicken was amazing! Everything we ordered that was labeled “shareable” was definitely not shareable unless each person only ate one piece / bite. Burger was especially disappointing. The salads are huge but lack flavor. Overall pretty bummed— big fans of Greenhouse and hoped this restaurant would compare, but it doesn’t come close.
Food was terrible. Don’t know how you mess up fried chicken.
The food was great. The place is beautiful. Warm and inviting. Service was lacking. Our waitress seemed to forget about us quite often. Overall would recommend.
Brussels sprouts A+
Maybe it is just because it is football season?!? I am going to chalk our experience up to that and the clientele we saw coming and going along with new restaurant kinks. We were so looking forward to this new restaurant opening but we were really disappointed. We were rushed through our meal so they could turn the table it felt like and my husband's steak was not cooked the way her requested. Our waitress never asked how our food was or if the steak was cooked correctly. So, with a partially eaten steak on his plate a bus boy picked up my husband plate, again no questions asked. My salmon was very fishy so I had a partially eaten plate of food as well. With all the options in Columbus I am not sure we will be back...first impressions unfortunately last!
Fun. Great spot.
We really liked See Saw ,the ambience was great , very nice service !
The only thing I honestly would change is that the food was really salty !!! I couldn’t finish my meal due the amount of salt !!! Overall it was a great place to go w friends!
Food was spectacular and delicious, enough to please even the most picky food lover.
Ambiance was very good. The building was nicely decorated. We both enjoyed a beautiful sunset out of the open window while enjoying out food.
We loved it! We did think there needed to be a little more mashed potatoes with the chicken, but other than that it was great!
Wanted to love this place because I’m a huge fan of green house tavern. We left after drinks and appetizers not because they were bad but because it was just too loud. We are in our early 30ies and it was still just too much for us.
AMAZING SERVICE_ THANK YOU ANTHONY for guiding us thru our experience!
Food was spectacular and we rewarded the kitchen with a case of beer! Fun to go back and say hello and ring the cowbell..- ALWAYS NEED MORE COWBELL!
Sorry we missed the Chef!
Chef Sawyer continues to put out great food. Greenhouse Tavern is my favorite restaurant in Cleveland and we were very excited to try SeeSaw. The menu is a little small and not incredibly diverse, but everything we had was very good. We actually went twice over the weekend, Friday evening and Sunday early afternoon. Friday was LOUD. It's definitely an energetic place. The burger is very tasty and the brick chicken was a textural delight. I hope the menu changes over time because I dont have a huge reason to go back as I basically had the majority of the menu over two visits. As a side note the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food. I'd recommend a trip to anyone.
We are big fans of Greenhouse Tavern in Cleveland, and the same menu items were not as good at SeeSaw.
It was empty but the bar-top needed cleaned. The scallop crudo was very good. The chicharrones were very boring and over-seasoned. Seems more of a style over substance place. My cocktail did not come with the listed garnish (smoke glass) and was very one-note.
I would not waste my money here.
Chef and staff took excellent care of us. The food and ambiance were outstanding!
A definite 👍, make certain u try the roasted Brussels Sprouts and also the Cauliflower. Both were amazing! We chose the Deluxe burgers, they were cooked perfectly and the wood fired taste was amazing.
Enjoyed the Tangerine Beer from Eureka, we also drink it in Goodyear, Az when we r watching Kip @ spring training. The rice milk with the warm cookie was a nice treat to celebrate hubby’s birthday.
Great food, drinks, and service! Highly recommend trying it out and then going to the lounge upstairs!
The Chef is doing an amazing job with that menu! Full of flavors and just delicious. The drinks were also great. However, we had dinner reservations for 8:15pm on Saturday and they had a DJ upstairs who played the loudest music making it impossible to have conversations.
Had to wait a bit, food didn’t seem to be nearly as appetizing as the instagram posts made it to look.
Felt pretty basic and actually heavy. Did have dinner and a show when 3 street folks got in a big fight in front of our street facing window seats.
Nice people, good people watching. Probably best as a bar at the moment, or the kitchen just got slammed (7:30 on a Friday night)
This place is amazing! Food, staff, ambiance - all first class. We’ll be back!
First time here and we had a blast. Service was awesome and the food was very tasty. We sat up at the bar as the only seating available was on the side. Can't wait to go back again.
The food was amazing!! At first we were nervous that the portions would be really small for our big group, but they were perfect! Highly recommend trying a bunch of apps. The drinks were strong and tasted great.
It was nearly impossible to hear in the restaurant due to the echoing sound of voices and loud music. It also felt that the place doesn't have an identity. Is it a restaurant or a club? Is it upscale or casual? For the price, you'd think the latter, but the food was mediocre at best and the drink pours were weak. My skirt steak didn't have much flavor and the ends were a little burnt, the french fries were my favorite part of the entire meal. I will not be back, truly disappointing.
Our visit started out a little bumpy. We had a reservation for 6:30, the hostess said it would be another 15 minutes so we went upstairs for drinks. The drinks were terrible. My Moscow Mule was all ginger beer and my husbands Martini was all vermouth. Very disappointed with that as the drinks are not inexpensive. We then ended up waiting 45 minutes for our table after having to approach the hostess.
Thankfully our server and the kitchen saved the day. Our server was fantastic and the food the amazing. We will definitely go back but probably stick to bottled beer if we drink upstairs.
A young hip vibe, this is a fabulous place for meeting friends in the Short North for cocktails and small plates (including several vegetarian items). The regular entrees are traditional favorites (bistro steak, fried chicken and the like). We were hoping for something more innovative and/or sophisticated, but if you're looking for a fun, relaxed place with casual eats, this is an excellent choice. And the service is truly outstanding!
Had high hopes as it looks really cool from high street. I was really impressed with the cocktails and the pepper appetizer and they were worth the price. However the burgers had only sauce and the bun, no lettuce tomato or anything. That was super disappointing. I ended up leaving hungry because I didn't want to eat the sad burger.
I'll come back for drinks but definitely not dinner.
No happy hour. Server was unknowledgeable. Prices too high for the experience. Would not go back.
Every morsel that came to the table was amazing. Chef Sawyer and his crew do a wonderful job and the service team is attentive and personable. We will be back.
We had a great time at SeeSaw! The food was amazing. We really liked the chicken wings and brussel sprouts. The service was great- both Justin and Anthony were awesome! We would definitely go back!
I almost don’t want to tell you how good Seesaw is because it will become too popular to ever go back! Seesaw has a lot to live up to if you’ve ever eaten at Greenhouse Tavern in Cleveland. Yes Seesaw is different than Greenhouse Tavern but the menu was still equally as impressive. Yes, there are “the wings” on the menu and they won’t disappoint. All of the food was prepared to perfection and was just as inviting to look at. Definitely going back.
