My wife and I eat at Seed at least twice a month. The food is always delicious, and their service excellent. Our waiter Javier is a consummate professional. His kind, caring demeanor always makes it a pleasure to have him welcome us back “home”. Seed is the “Cheers” of restaurant experience.
It was a Birthday!!! And we enjoyed the service
Everything was delicious.
We will be back.
Always an enjoyable meal at Seed! The shrimp sambal is delicious and the tres leches cake was amazing!! We were a group of 8 celebrating two birthdays and we were very well taken care of. Great all around!
Everything was great
Smoked Salmon and Potato Pancakes were outstanding!
Went for brunch and food and service was excellent. Look forward to the next time
We enjoyed our first visit. Definitely a fine dining experience. Food was very good
Booked that day for family meeting to plan a funeral. Manager came by, interacted with thoughtfulness and very kind words. Dinner was very delicious, perfect sized portions. Later manager provided a comped desert. Seed has become our favorite place to eat when family is in town.
Wonderful food! Why had I never eaten here before? I had discounted it because it was a small place in a local shopping center -- but I have changed my mind. The pork belly "sliders" were actually pork belly ban mi....yummmmm. Crispy edges, but meltingly tender in the middle. My carmelized brussel sprouts and blue sea bass were beautiful, and a large portion as well. My husband's scallops were tender, and so good he was halfway through before he remembered his manners and said "Uh, do you want a taste?" The raspberry bread pudding was as good as nana's (apologies to Grandmother.) All seasonal and local ingredients where they can get it, the crew here does not disappoint. Service was not only fast and friendly, but very knowledgeable about ingredients and preparation. Will definitely eat here again. Only one complaint -- noise level is fairly high. Not so loud you can't easily have a conversation, and the energy is good, but if you want quiet and cozy so you can whisper sweet nothings, not for you. If you want really good food, come on ahead!
This was our first time and everything from the service to the food was spectacular!
Again, Seed delivers a wonderful experience. With each and every visit, we are reminded that this is the best restaurant in East Cobb. We went this evening for the Valentine's Day menu and wine pairing. We began with champagne and a deviled egg. Both were wonderful. For our appetizers, the lobster claw salad was superb, and my champagne oysters were perfect. For our main dish, my wife had the trout and I the diver scallops with roasted vegetables. The wine pairings for each were nicely explained and very enjoyable. I had the peanut butter parfait for dessert, as I saw that Chef Turbush had made them himself, which was served with a port wine. My wife had a monstrous slice of strawberry cheesecake. Both desserts were the perfect end to the meal. Well done Seed.
Valentine's Day pre-fixed menu. 3 course for $75 was a little over-priced. The food was good, but not that good. We were seated in an area off the main dining room - no ambiance, but it would be great if you want no noise.
Wonderful dinner!!!! Excellent wine pairings. Our new favorite place for special occasions.
Valentine’s Day pre-fix menu was excellent. Great attention to details. Looking forward to visiting again on a regular night. Although I had heard and read about Seed, we had not eaten there, because it is far out for us, but it was worth the drive! Highly recommend!
Excellent food, great chef and fantastic server staff. Very nice experience.
Valentines Day 2018. Great choice. Food, service and beverage choices were all great. Highly recommend.
We had early reservations for Valentine's Day dinner. It was a fixed price menu. It had a very good offering for each course and nice wine pairings. It was excellent, both the food and service. That was surprising given the crowd. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Solid but not great. For the price there are better options. Party of two for a prix fixe Valentine's Day menu ($75) + wine pairing ($25). Menu options were varied and interesting. We had Oysters, Beet Salad, Lobster / Risotto, Lamb Shank / Cheese Grits, Peanut Chocolate cake. Main dishes seemed to have been previously prepared and perhaps sitting for some time. Overall seasoning / taste was weak. The cook on the Lobster and Lamb was a bit overdone. We would not discourage a trip but at the same time would probably not recommend either.
The service was wonderful and the food was phenomenal. Great atmosphere for the most part. Our table was just a little too close to the kitchen area. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Top notch food preparation and selection.
My Bride's Birthday. Allen was great. Very attentive. David great manager/host.
Wine, appetizer, dinner and dessert were all excellent! Waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Food was great. Asked the server her honest option on food portions and she was spot on.
The food was phenomenal. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. We loved everything about it!
We have been to Seeds several times with good food and service. However, the service was good but the food was average or below. Our meal started off with the Calamari arriving cold and over cooked. The entrees were good but not something you want to order again. Dessert..Lemon cheesecake was excellent.
Disappointed.
Scallops were great. Love the corn fritters.
Seed is always incredible! The food and service is the best! The staff goes above and beyond to make your dining experience wonderful. They made my 6 year old daughter feel so special when she and her father dined to celebrate daddy daughter Valentine’s Day night out. I highly recommend Seed!!!
My wife and I both ordered the scallops that came with (5) rather small scallops ... BUT they arrived LUKE WARM at best. We have had other positive experiences at this restaurant but this meal was not worth the price with service that was substandard. We wanted to return but could not find the waiter who disappeared! Probably will not ever go back!
We had our favorite waiter, Rado. My wife got the monk fish special and said it was delicious. Rado recommended the perfect wine for it. I love the horses neck with and kick. I usually get the sockeye salmon and am never disappointed. Seed is our favorite restaurant. Don’t change a thing.
As always excellent and very accommodating to two people who have various dietary restrictions. Favorite place to eat close to home!
Our waitress was fantastic! good food & good service - all in East Cobb!
The Shrimp and Grits are the best in Atlanta. I love the ambiance and flavorful food. This is one of my favorite restaurants !!
Great evening.... wonderful food and service!
Five ladies chose Seed Kitchen to celebrate a friends birthday. Everything was excellent… the food the service the atmosphere! We brought a large cake the wait staff was very accommodating by putting the candles on, lighting the candles, cutting the cake and serving the cake at no charge.
We will definitely return for the next birthday celebration!
Everything from the food to the decor was exactly what I want in a restaurant. The food was a cut above and only rivaled by the wait staff! Thank you for an enjoyable dining experience. I plan to visit when I am on this side of town and would recommend to anyone.
This is a super find!!! Try it- it is well worth it!
Always lovely eating here. Great overall atmosphere.
Food great, but felt rushed.
I love the food and beer choices at this place! It is a little loud, the only possible issue.
It was great! I was able to enjoy my friends for a couple of hours without feeling like we needed to leave. The food was great, the service was wonderful. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
It was our 1st time and will not be the last. The service was good and attentive. The waiter knew the menu and offered great suggestions. I had the chicken schnitzel which was really good and hubby had the pork chop with he said was cooked perfectly. We will return.
