Seed Kitchen & Bar Ratings and Reviews
On the eve of my surgery, I was in the mood for a really good restaurant experience. My sister & I arrived and were taken care of by Allen. He helped make this a really delightful evening. Each course was mouth watering. The highlight was the bread pudding. Thank you for exceeding our expectations.
I wish I could remember our waitresses name because she was great!! We ordered the appetizer of corn fritters (think that's what it was). When our entrees were brought out she had forgotten our appetizer. She apologized and asked if still wanted it; we said we did so when it was brought out she said it was complimentary. I thought that was a very nice but not necessary thing to do. Even tho I don't live close to restaurant I'll (we'll) definitely be back!!
Great lunch place in Merchant’s Walk shopping district. Both inside and patio seating and excellent service. Nice and diverse menu options all prepared fresh and local ingredients. Crispy fish tacos and burgers were favorites of the day. Wine options were excellent.
The food was excellent (as always - we've been to Seed 3-5 times, and it's always been excellent). But, this time we were a medium sized group (6), and were put into an extension room (beyond a much larger group). This affected our wait staff (understandable, but still challenging for time and coverage for drinks, etc.) And, the noise level was higher than normal, as the large group was a family with children and adults all talking together (no overall issue with this, just louder and more crowded than normal).
A date night visit for me and my wife. Enjoyed the 6th anniversary menu Pre-fix that they prepared. The service really stands out at Seed. The space is s not noisy but not horrible. Food is consistently good. Highly recommend a visit if you have never tried
We celebrated our anniversary at Seed and it couldn't have been more special. We were given a private menu wishing us a happy anniversary on the printed menu and everybody we came in contact with from the hostess to the servers were great and wished us a happy anniversary. The food, wine and most importantly service could not have been better. Carmen, our server, was fantastic and the lamb I had literally peeled off the bone. My wife's pork could not have been better. This is a great fine dining establishment in East Cobb. Well done!
Birthday celebration for sister turned out great. Our table was ready (chef's table) which was so nice. Got some recommendations right from the kitchen. We ended with burgers, chicken sandwich/soup, Cod plate and me - beet salad with salmon. All was so good!! Service was nice and liked the special printed menus. Special B'day cake was very nice. Thanks for a wonderful lunch and celebration.
Seed has always been a favorite for dinner or drinks in East Cobb, but we were disappointed with our Mother's Day brunch. The food was well below the standard we have enjoyed in the past... nothing exciting about any of the brunch dishes that we sampled (omletes, waffle, potato pancakes etc). The service was very slow. It took an unusually long time for food to come out. I would not rush back for brunch.
I thought the food was spot on (I'm vegetarian) and everyone in my party agreed. Two men complained the portions were small. I prefer small portions with rich food and paired my main with a salad and felt it was the perfect size meal. Staff was friendly and attentive but professional and I like the more modern style decor. Good to have this type restaurant in a sea of OTP chains.
Nice ambience kind service nice food presentation, though dinner menu tasted so so, not sophisticated much..I expected more..but dessert (something soft cake), homemade butter and jam, bread were excellent. Loved spending time there, but I hate to give only 3stars b/c of taste of main courses: chicken was somewhat bulky and salty, scallops were not fully cooked and a bit smelly..felt so sorry for my birthday friend who had scallops..I had a better lunch the other time with trio which was much better. I may visit again for only lunch.
Great service and seasonal entrees! You feel like your cheating because it's so good, but actually pretty healthy. I had the daily trio which is salad, soup and 1/2 sandwich of the day. This date was salad with blueberries, tomato soup with Fresh croutons and salmon/ bacon on ciabatta bread
