A Simple Beginning for Seriously Good Times
Fun. Comfortable. Vibrant. In 2011, veteran restaurateur Dennis Barbaro wanted to establish a new kind of restaurant on a simple premise: to serve fine craft beer and wine lovers alike in a warm, natural and sophisticated environment.
Now with multiple locations and more in the works, Sedona Taphouse continues to offer an inviting atmosphere the community loves. Since its inception, Sedona Taphouse has won numerous awards for its craft beer selection and food offerings and is rated `World Class' by Beer Advocate.

Food was great; a little loud
Very pleased each time we have dined at Sedona, guests pleased, food delicious
Did the charity special, the food was great. Our waitress kept forgetting, drinks, bread net is she had to keep being reminded of what we asked for. Have eaten at Sedona many time, I think it was a one time item for less than great service. The food and drinks made up for the shortcoming.
We enjoyed rooftop dining in a relaxed atmosphere.
Varied menu. Different, non-typical dishes.
Decent restaurant. Comfortable. Cozy. Good food. Staff was very receptive.
Excellent service, waitress was attentive but not bothersome. Food was outstanding, ambience was very pleasant.
Birthday celebration on the deck listening to a band.
Their roof top seating is awesome on a beautiful day like we had yesterday.
Service was Amazing as usual ! Food was also very good.
We sat rooftop and it was lovely, quiet and made all the better with our server...Sara (Sarah?)
She was Attentive and engaging...This was our first time dining at Sedona and we will be back and asking for a table that Sara is serving.
Good experience, first time there for dinner. I’ll definitely try it again. Mussels where great!
Good but not outstanding food and service and the place could be cleaner, would not give it a second try
The food was excellent, we will definitely eat here again and have already recommended Sedona to our friends and family, the only thing that seemed out of place was the music choice and how loud the music was being played for a restaurant where people are eating and trying to talk.
Overall we were very happy with our experience at your restaurant.
For me, the music is too loud. I was there to have lunch with a friend. I was not there for a concert.
The appetizer we shared was excellent. It was bruschetta with goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. Absolutely delicious. However, my fish tacos left a lot to be desired. The flourless chocolate cake was yummy.
Service started out rocky, we waited for 25 minutes before anyone came to our table, I even got up and asked the hostess if we could get a waitress. No one came for 5 minutes. Finally, a girl came and asked if we had been helped, was completely attentive and apologized, even gave us our apps for free. She was great, food and atmosphere was terrific as usual! Love this place!!
We requested to sit outside. But the server lacked the basic decency to help get us an umbrella where everyone else (table) had one. Also the server was less than acceptable.
Our table was at the bottom of the stairs where people had to squeeze by on the way to the kitchen . Food was ok. Not great. Service was ok. Nothing but mediocre all around.
Excellent food and service with a smile.
Went on a Sunday for brunch. Atmosphere was lively. Menu had options that everyone can enjoy. On brunch days there is a bloody mary bar that is a must. Recommend the guacomole. It is the best.
I booked a reservation on Wednesday for the following Saturday, called back to confirm I’d be seated on the rooftop, when I walked in Saturday I was told off the bat that rooftop isn’t guaranteed even though it was confirmed when I called. The hostess continued to give me attitude and act as if I was a walk in. I was polite and waited for the 6 top table in the far back of the rooftop (almost still in doors, while my reservation was for 2). I would’ve stayed for dinner if both hostesses I spoke to weren’t so rude and unwelcoming. So I took my $200 dinner to Ocean Prime down the street where I can be treated with respect and courtesy. Never coming here again, highly disappointed in the mislead and the way it was handled.
Amazing food & drinks. Waitstaff is awesome & efficient.
Service was great and food is always consistent. Lots of great options during Happy Hour for only $5 and $7. The salmon sliders are delish
Great restaurant and bar with an excellent menu. Hard part of ordering is choosing a beer since there are so many options! Everything from appetizers to desserts are delicious!
Sedona has the best happy hour I’ve ever had. Also the $7 steak night is fantastic!! Our servers were great and attentive. They made sure all our drinks and appetizers were in before the end of happy hour which was much appreciated. One of my favorite restaurants.
India was a fabulous server; thank you! The kitchen did make a few mistakes on our food, but India got the mistakes corrected. The food was pretty good! Had the flat iron steak Monday charity special, with a side of fruit. Two of my friends had the salmon special, and one had shrimp tacos. We had a nice evening at Sedona!
You cannot beat the Monday night specials with a percentage going to a charity.
I was celebrating Father’s Day the day after due to complications on Sunday, and so we came here Monday the 17th and had to be the worst experience ever, we waited over 45 minutes for food, my dad waiting over 15 minutes for a drink, our server was never around enough to ask if we cared for any refills, water or even silverware. The desert, which was literally a slice of chocolate cake with sliced strawberries, took an additional 15 minutes to be brought out, and to make matters worst, we were not the only guests upset about the situation because the table next to us were complaining about their drinks taking forever to arrive at their table too. By the end of the night, I was frustrated with the lack of service brought to my table especially it being a special occasion, we just wanted to leave but could not as our server was not around to present our check, I waited 15 mins hoping she’ll approach the table with the check but I decided to go ask another server to do so, where he brought it right away and cashed me out. Overall, I’ve always thought of Sedona as a very indulgent establishment, and was looking forward for the night all day but after this experience, I can say that I was very disappointed being a regular guest.
Made a reservation and was made to wait for over ten minutes. Waited a while for the waiter. Got appetizer that was soggy for what it was, and then waited for over 30mins for entrees - the waiter never came to let us know the eta or to apologize for the wait. Once we got our steaks, they were tough, hard to cut in to, and flavourless. The portions were small for the price. When a waiter, who was not taking care of our table, finally came up to ask how we were doing, we explained what was going on and he did not seem surprised. We waited another little while for the manager to come to our table, she gave us a poor excuse about why the quality was so terrible. Highly unlikely that we will return, and will not be recommending to others.
First time ever-an off day at Sedona in charity steak night. Very slow service - 3 hours for 7 people ordering charity steal out. Mistakes on meals. Hopefully they are gearing up for summer-with the patio and roof open—you will be keeping busy!
As per usual, Sedona did not disappoint! We came here for Father’s Day, ordered drinks, apps, entrees, and dessert. The only one slight disappoint is that the truffle fries we ordered as an appetizer were not very warm or crispy. However the Thai shrimp app and the rest of the food was fantastic. We will continue to come here in the future!
We were not seated at our reservation time, ok, so we informed the hostess that we would be at the bar. We then received s call that they can’t find us (at the bar). Our table was tiny, right next to the kitchen and thus VERY loud. I requested a different table but was told there were no other tables. My fish was so over seasoned that I could not eat it and my husband’s $36 steak was super thin and over cooked. Other customers were being seated at tables that hadn’t been cleaned yet. There were random small plates on our table (I thought maybe for bread) that we’re just in the way. Let’s just say that I do not plan to return.
Sedona has become a regular for us on special occasions. The quality of the food is absolutely amazing, beer menu is always rotating, and the management genuinely cares about us as customers. I even recieved a free thermos for fathers day.
very good service and food / will definitely go back!!!
Jessica was our server for Father’s Day Brunch. She was attentive, fun to talk to, knowledgeable and overall a pleasure! The food was great as always! We love Sedona :)
The food was incredible and the atmosphere was really nice. Intimate, but still a social experience. I would definitely go here again!
We love the options for GF and the flat breads are so delicious!
My only caveat is that the noise level is very high. The food and cocktails are excellent
We were here for a small business meeting during dinner on a Wednesday night. It was very busy so quite loud, definitely more a social place. We did not have the most attentive waiter but again it was busy. The food was wonderful, scallops cooked to perfection. I will probably only come again for an early lunch to avoid so much noise.
Always a great place for lunch or dinner. The Salmon Asparagus salad is out of this world!
