Visited few times before the food was not bad even with high cost. Took my parents for my dad’s birthday. When booked online they asked what was the occasion but nothing was received. Not even a happy birthday in words. Food was disappointing, expensive and cold and dumpling paper was sticking to each other. Will not visit again.

There is a lady worked on the Monday who clearly didn’t know what is cx service or might just didn’t want to be there. She worn a mask and had glasses on. She pushed the cart to our table the moment we just got to our table and yet to sit down. My partner wanted to check what she had in the cart, she looked at us with a contempt look then rolled her eyes at us… not a really good impression at all. If you didn't want to work on public holidays, pls take the day off. Honestly we didn’t want to pay the paid the public holiday rate to get served like this.

Food was luke warm but good quality although quite expensive. If you are looking for options I would rate Golden Dragon Palace well ahead of Secret Kitchen but I would go back there without hesitation.

Patronise Secret Kitchen often and good food quality is maintained. Same as ambience and noise level, except this time don't like the team managed to prompt or cierce us to leave the restaurant by 11:00 am despite I booked a 10:00 am booking and next booking at 01:00 pm. There were only few tables occupied at time of 11:00 am, which we do not understand why we are 'pushed' to move out by 11:00 am, which was rude to us.

We had been to Secret Kitchen a few times previously and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, but not this time. We were seated in a small room off an out-of-way corridor. Our table was next to a bench stacked with spare crockery, so we were constantly interupted by staff getting to the crockery. The food trolleys were very repetitive, and we were not offered the normal range of dishes, and certainly not the range of dishes available to guests in the main dining area. My recommendation is that if you are unable to secure a booking in the main dining area, don't make a booking at all.

Ordering chilly oil during the first session, I had to order 5 times. All other tables got their chilly... wtf? Sitting there for 15 minutes and nothing. I got up and walked over to the bar... and stood there waiting to be served. The management guy in a tie approached me with a very non-friendly manner. I ask him for chilly oil, he asked me to order it from the floor staff with frustration. I yelled back and said I asked 5 times and I got nothing. Then he became defensive and said they were understaffed. I said it's the first setting of the day and looked at him unconvinced. Then responded, you have no staff??? A silly excuse. I said what ever. And indicated, that I'm not going to wait for another 15 minutes, otherwise we'll be leaving. 11.30 booking for Yum Cha, 11.30 to 11.50, ordered some food and simultaneously asked 5 different female staff for chilly oil. Waited and got nothing, at 11.50, got up and walked over to their main counter. Made a complaint and then at 11 55 got our chilly...finally. How hard is it for basic customer service??
