Service is always great and the atmosphere local and pleasant

Great atmosphere—it was chilly we sat outside with the heaters and were comfortable. Bakers dozen oysters great experience. The Holy Water cocktail arrived flaming it was so amazing!! Chefs special fish was very good. Wait staff attentive but laid back and informative at the same time. Loved this place!!!!!!

So glad my husband and I decided to book Seaworthy for an evening out. We were seated in the bar during their happy hour, which had a nice intimate feel to it. All the staff was very attentive, even though they seemed busy, and were fun the talk to throughout our dining. The oysters were top notch, also. We enjoyed 2 rounds of the happy hour baker's dozen plus an extra half dozen of their wild gulf oysters. We'll definitely be dining here again before our holiday vacation ends.

The worst experience we’ve all ever encountered. Rude, mean, host who was very discriminatory and staff members even openly laughed at and mocked our friend who has a disability and was actually the guest of honor for the evening, to the point where she cried outside of the restaurant. Absolutely disgusting behavior by staff and none of us will ever return to this establishment, which is heartbreaking because it has been our favorite for so long. The staff member greeting guests that evening should not be employed with this company, or this certainly won’t be the last review if it’s kind for this establishment.

We went there for the happy hour. It was very limited - 2 drinks and 1 oyster (maybe it was two). Bakers dozen was 27 and enjoyable. Great place for couples!

The oysters were great. That was our favorite part. The service was just ok. A girlfriend and I went to dinner and we felt very rushed. I had been to Seaworthy twice before and it was a lovely experience previously but we felt like the server wanted us in & out much too quickly. Also, when we arrived they had "bumped" our reservation to a high-top table inside at the bar and that's not what we had in mind at all. Luckily the host was able to fix it but how can you just "bump" (that was the word he used) someone from outside to inside like that? Especially with a pandemic going on? The food other than the oysters was just ok. The drinks were just ok too.

Everything was stellar about this evening. Food, waiter, ambiance. I love this restaurant.

Tiki style drinks, thoughtful oyster (& raw bar) offerings and attention to nautical detail make this a stop worth making. We ate on the patio (which was perfect and social-distancing friendly) and had oysters, crab dip, and 3 of the chilled/cured offerings. The Cobia tiradito was the stand out star. We will definitely be back!

PS- staff took temp check at door, wore masks and respected COVID distancing guidelines.

We were brought glasses of wine to celebrate our anniversary! The food was even better than we expected! The fried shrimp, little gem salad and wagyu beef burger were amazing. The cocktails were great as well.

My husband and I had dinner at Seaworthy during our honeymoon in New Orleans. We each had a cocktail - he had the Strange Bird and I had the Holy Water (I didn't pay the extra $5 to keep the glass, but I almost wish I had). They were expertly made and presented. Our server, Nick, was extremely helpful, warm, and kind. My husband ordered the Louisiana rock shrimp roll and I had the burger, and both were cooked exactly to order and were extremely good. We loved the space, the decor, and everything about Seaworthy. We will most certainly be back on our next trip to Nola.

Everything. The pork belly, Cobia, and Tuna Poke were awesome. It was our first experience with raw oysters and I would definitely recommend

Initially we looked at the menu and was thinking about leaving. We were the first group seated. We we received our food it was awesome. Terrific service. Menu limited; however, it’s probably due to covid to decrease waste. We would definately return. Swordfish was teriffic!

What is lacking in overall value and flavor, is made up for with ambiance. We ordered:
Raw Oysters- obviously they tasted as expected, which for me is wonderful
Shrimp Roll- I didn’t care for it- it was loaded with celery which I like, but honestly the flavor was not great. The bread was the best part. It was $18, so not a good value for something you really couldn’t eat.
Mussels- Were good and really the best thing ordered.
Fried Shrimp- Good, tastes as expected
Cocktails- Great flavor, but were literally 3 sips for $10-15 each
Like I said, the ambiance is really the best part of the place and it’s nice if you want to catch up with friends. Our bill was $180ish for 3 people so kinda pricey, but again we had 2 cocktails and a bottle of wine.

Overall, the food was delicious and the service was great. It was a little noisy, but that's probably just because it's an older building. It didn't impact the experience overall.

I love this place but I am looking forward to being able to sit at the oyster bar again. The table service was a little lacking.

The Oysters! They were out out of the Murder Pointe oysters😞, but the East Coast and West Coast selections made up for it!
The Crabmeat Dip was delectable, and who would have known that basic fried shrimp wasn't so basic after all!
I recommend this place to any seafood lover.
Good thing they were out of my favorite oysters, now I have a reason to go back!

👌🏼 place for dinner, and they sent an amazing chocolate dessert and shots to the table to help celebrate a birthday! Ryan and Sean were fun and attentive, oysters were on point, cocktails were perfect.
