Seaworthy culls inspiration from Gulf Coast waterways, the time-worn traditions of Southern hospitality and the legendary exuberance of the city of New Orleans.

Food is underwhelming and overpriced. Could have a better meal at any number of neighborhood places for half the price. Will not return or recommend
Server was pleasant and efficient.
My husband and I have loved Seaworthy for over 4 years. Unfortunately, they recently changed the menu, so all of the main dishes now contain a lobster broth. I’m allergic to shellfish. The oysters (which are bivalves and I can eat) are great but they don’t make a meal. Hopefully, they make more options available since shellfish allergy is a pretty common.
Worthy. Great small place with lots of oyster choices and delicious and creative seafood entrees. Friendly and attentive staff. We try to get here at least once every time we visit Nola.
Loved it - the oysters were amazing and the staff were lovely
The service here was the worst I’ve ever received in New Orleans. It took a long time to be greeted at our table. Our drinks were empty for the majority of the meal and our waiter forgot an appetizer and an entree. The lighting was so low that it was hard to read the menu. The food was fine but I do not think I will return to this restaurant.
We were the only patrons and cold fries. Staff was so noisy talking to each other with cleaning products on bar.☹️ Used to love this restaurant.
We really wanted to like this place but…
We sat outside on their back patio which looked lovely but it was closed in and had no fresh air circulating. There was a consistent smell of bleach coming from the kitchen area. The food was either too seasoned or had too little seasoning. The wait staff were friendly.

We were sat in the ally / patio which was very nice but had no music at all and was pretty dark. We all felt tired after dinner - if you are looking for a sleepy dinner then it’s perfect but we chose this restaurant for it’s aesthetic and perceived vibe and it didn’t hit the mark for us.

Happy hour is a must. Oysters are cold and shucked quickly. Mom’s crab dip was next level. Everything we ordered was excellent.
Good evening Lauren, Thank you for the Amazing review.
Food was delicious. Especially the rock shrimp risotto.
We had a lovely dinner at Seaworthy! Accommodating staff, tasty food, and lovely outdoor patio.
Good evening Sarah Thank you for the Great review.
Love this place so very much. We’ve been spoiled every time we go in. I would recommend reservations ahead of time cause they can fill up fast. Happy Hour is terrific deal.
The staff is beyond gracious, so patient & thoughtful.
Love you folks!
Thanks for the Glowing review.
Best meal we had during a week in New Orleans. Highly recommend the shrimp risotto & oysters. The service was also top-notch.
We love dining outside in the courtyard at Seaworthy! Relaxing and fun setting. We started with the Cobia and the Crab Dip which were both great. Gulf fish had delicious crispy skin. Scallops were excellent with sweet potato grits. Fun cocktails too!
Enjoyed dinner on the patio, and the holy water!
Food was good. Went there because wife wanted lobster roll. Was on take out menu but not available for dine in? Out of crab cakes, out of sourdough and some other items. Drink was okay. Waiter was nice and attentive.
Oyster selection is always amazing. Ambience and service are consistently top-notch.
Dinner was delicious! We had gumbo, oysters on half shell, ceviche, Brussels sprouts and crab cakes. Would recommend!
Located just a few doors down from our hotel, we stopped in for a late dinner. Amazing dinner service -we loved the oysters and redfish. Will definitely come back for the spicy mezcal cocktail on my next visit!
This is quickly becoming my NOLA favorite. Great raw oysters. Seafood gumbo may not have been the best ever but it was certainly very good & full of seafood & sausage, very satisfying. I had blackened scallops for my entree, & they were outstanding with just the right size portion. If you are a Bourbon fan, get the McKittrick Old Fashioned.
The place is comfortable & has a cool vibe & ambience. Although I was alone, it would be a great place for a date or even a double date. Service was excellent too. This was my second visit & certainly not my last.
Loved the atmosphere in the bar! Food was yummy!
Oysters were great.
Not worth the price. Oysters were smelly and seemed like they had just been thawed. The catfish sandwich had no flavor and minimal tartar sauce. The credit card machine was also down so had to leave information which was an inconvenience. Overall would not go back.
Thank you for a lovely evening. We made very good use of the Happy Hour oysters. We would have loved to know the seating options ahead of time - outdoor patio, second floor dining room, bar area - and been able to choose.
All oysters were great but 100% recommend The murder Point oysters! The mussels were yummy with the avocado sauce- not too filling, perfect if looking for a light meal. The shrimp Po Boy was great too but more of a filling meal.
Food was great but the portions were small and the meal felt very rushed
Superb food and service.
Excellent covid protocols.
Excellent meal and quaint ambiance. Food quality was on point and would definitely visit again. Seaworthy doing Seafood right. Highly recommend.
We loved the ambiance and decor of this place! We'd eaten at their sister restaurant in NYC before and wanted to try it here, and weren't disappointed.
Probably the best seafood in New Orleans. The drinks were phenomenal as well.
Seaworthy is always a delicious treat and never fails to live up to my expectations. Don't sleep on the burger here because it is delicious.
I give the restaurant 2 stars because the employees were extremely nice and the ambience was lovely. The food was far below average and quite disgusting. I ordered the mussels entree which arrived in a very unpleasant muddy green water that tasted equally as bad as it looked. I also ordered the seafood pasta which couldn't have been more than noodles and a few shrimp covered in canned unseasoned tomato sauce. The servings were also quite small for the high prices. I would not recommend this restaurant due to the poor-tasting food.
We tried the Coolinary menu. Everything was very tasty, but portion sizes were very small - we all left hungry. The kitchen seemed to be having some issues, but our server did everything he could to make the experience great.
Great delicious meal w/ perfect mocktails to accompany… every bite was yummy. Area was quite loud but that could be due to just the party a few tables down.
We had a great anniversary dinner at Seaworthy! August was a great waiter and helped us pick out a wonderful meal and great wine selections. The oysters were wonderful and it was so great to be able to try some that were from the East and West coast, not just the gulf!
Yes, but not for brunch! Items featured on their website was not available! The featured items should be deleted from the site, and the manager never approached us with an explanation!
The food here is absolutely excellent! Never had a bad meal here. Drink were so so. Will be back!
Great place for oysters
Everything we ordered was fantastic. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. While we were eating our dinner we were planning what to order on our next visit!
A wonderful and fantastic seafood restaurant in the CBD of New Orleans!!
