Seawell Fish N' Oyster
Comida nada especial, terrible actitud de la mesera
This is a beautiful little restaurant and the patio space was great, we liked our brunch but it the food and presentation seemed standard. Nothing unique. Our server was very nice but seemed to be perhaps spread thin... we didn’t see him much after ordering our food.
Second time here and it was just as amazing! Went for my boyfriends Dads birthday and they surprised him with a birthday dessert! Started with a dozen oysters at Minnow bar, so fresh! Had the seafood tower, seriously a steal compared to other towers I’ve had. The clam bucatini and grilled snapper were both great! Hidden gem for sure!
Our party of three waited a long time for our meal but there were only four tables occupied in the restaurant. Server was very attentive so the hold up was the kitchen
Food was amazing, but our server screwed up our order in several bizarre ways, from completely forgetting to put in an appetizer to unilaterally deciding to cancel my side order just because my partner changed hers. Very strange.
Brunch at Seawell is an event and one we will be back for very soon! The staff were fantastic and often anticipated our needs before we could vocalize them- mimosa refills, entree suggestions, photo opportunities, etc. We were not shy about ordering as our group was especially hungry after being stuck in an Uber for over an hour which ended up working in our favor as we were able to try many menu items. Everything presented to us was carefully prepared, picture perfect, and tasted amazing.
We had an exceptional meal here that was only made better by the exceptional service - JC was awesome! Highly recommend - it’s a hidden gem.
Absolutely fantastic. Service was top notch and the seafood incredibly fresh. Great change of pace from touristy ocean drive
Great lunch, with creative and delicious poutine with lobster - generous portion. Soo good. Also avocado toast and egg Benedict. Friendly attentive service. Outdoor dining nice!
The seafood tower was delicious. Service was great. I will be coming back.
I recently shared a spectacular Valentine’s Day dinner with my husband here. Our waitress, Jennifer, was lovely and made some wonderful suggestions. We received complimentary champagne for the holiday which was a nice intro to the entire experience. I also ordered a cocktail, Angel of the morning. For our appetizers we selected their smoked fish dip and, at our waitress’ suggestion, an assortment of half a dozen oysters with a side of caviar. For main course my husband tried their seared snapper with a citrus tarragon butter sauce. I went with another of Jennifer’s suggestions - one of their specials for the evening, the “everything short rib” which was a short rib meat served in a blue velout with some sunchoke fritters. We also had a side of their roasted broccoli. For dessert we had their apple crumble. The food was fantastic, everything was perfectly cooked and presentation was beautiful.
Their seating was a bit uncomfortable and I was seated in front of a speaker which made it difficult to have a conversation at times.
Overall, great service, don’t pass up on the oysters (get a side of caviar, you won’t regret it, thanks Jennifer).
Our waiter made the whole experience for us, he was amazing. The crabby patty and oysters and drinks were our favorite! Would recommend for date night.
Great place and excellent food. Really really nice
Really lovely little seafood spot! Pleasantly surprised to find a natural orange wine on their by-the-glass list and really enjoyed the delicious simplicity of the food! Nothing was overly flavored — quality of the food was able to shine.
Great bottomless brunch. Got the fried chicken and the lobster roll
Loved everything except your choice of music, should be more dining experience not eat to the beat
Nice place in general . Parking is tough though.
Waitress was very nice
the food was good, i think they need to work on the service. i know the table next to us was not happy. i don't think the staff really has a clue and needs management.
Great Food. Friendly Service. Will definetey be back.
Excellent experience all around...the aide garden is nice and quiet if it's open
It was a good experience.
Amazing overall experience! Ambience was so cute, service was AMAZING, and so was the food! Will definitely be going back
We were there for Christmas so might not be representative but the tasting menu took almost 3 hours for 7 small courses. The food was tasty and the drinks were great but we started to get hungry waiting.
Wonderful experience! We visited to celebrate my sisters birthday and they made it so memorable!! First, they brought a complimentary plate of delicious monkey bread. We ordered the red snapper whole fish, raw and roasted oysters..it was all amazing! We ordered the delish chocolate woopie pie with toasted marshmallow..omg! They also brought an additional 2 scoops of ice cream with a birthday firework flare! They went out of their way to make it a special night! Thank you for the experience, y’all are awesome!
Had a great dinner here. The seafood was so fresh and well-prepared, but what made the night so great was the amazing service we received. Our server was right on top of things to make sure we had everything we needed without being obtrusive in any way. In fact everyone we interacted with had a smile which was so refreshing. We ate inside but the patio area is quite lovely. Parking is easy across the street, which is unusual for the Beach. We would definitely come back.
The food was so delicious! Creative combinations that made the tastes of foods like broccoli and butternut squash pop! The fish dishes were all scrumptious! From the scallops to the smoked fish dip/spread. We shared everything at out table of 6 and everyone loved everything. Food was so good, served so nicely we decided to try the deserts because we curious of the chef could possible have an encore to match the mains. He didn't disappoint! Maine whoopie pie! Whoa. What a great restaurant.
Went for buffet breakfast as was staying at attached Kimpton Hotel, The Angler’s
Faulty good value for a hotel breakfast at $17 each plus tax and tip. Good choice of cereals, cold meats and cheese, bagels and bread. You could help yourself to whatever you wanted.
They also had some hot dishes available to order à la carte.
Friendly service. Music turned up just a little too loud for our liking but all in all a good meal.
Tries too hard
Perfect for the family. It’s so hard to find a quiet place where the aging relatives will be able to hear. Outstanding food and service. We’ll be back!
Great new seafood (and other stuff) restaurant hidden on Washington Ave. Best lobster roll in town (sorry lobster shack)...cuz the bun is buttery and toasty. Also try the snapper perloo... and the side of squash was yum. Great Martini...will be back with more friends. I like the side patio better than the front one.
Amazing food and service. Alba our server was spot on.
We enjoyed this newly-opened modern seafood restaurant. The food was amazing and the prices were reasonable. We'd expect to pay twice as much per plate.
Phenomenal meal. Not a single dish that wasn’t exceptional. The fish dip, fried chicken and whole snapper are must haves. Great selection of oysters. And save room for the desserts! Good selection of interesting well priced wines.
