Chef John Howie's Award Winning Northwest Cuisine. Amazing food and everything was fresh and tasty! Waiter was personable and very helpful. Yes it is spendy, but worth every last bite! We recommend everything!

Got in early before crowd. Quickly seated. Decent table. Friendly service. Scallops trio was very good. Bread service with good butter. Lobster mash potatoes very good. Crab salad was good, a little thick on the dressing. Filet Mignon was very tender, asked for medium, got more med rare, still good enough not to send back. Asparagus perfectly cooked. French red wine by glass paired perfect with steak. $160

My boyfriend and I went on Valentines Day. It was crowded but did not feel like it was noisy. It felt private and like we were given enough great service. Food was great. Will definitely go again, just expect to pay at least $100 for 2 people.

It was Valentine's Day and Seastar was very crowded. They had added more tables, but the service was still very timely and excellent. If you like seafood, Seastar has lots of options and the food came out promptly and hot even with the crowd.

Our dinner was very tasty. We have been here many times and enjoy it immensely. Service is good and appetizers, drinks and meals are very timely. We will be back!

When I wanted a place to take my nephew on his visit to the Seattle area, I selected Seastar for it’s great seafood. We had two preparations of the king salmon and the scallops - great choices. Also enjoyed the crab cakes and crab bisque.

We went on a Sunday evening. We’re new to the area so we’re randomly picking restaurants as we discover what we like. I had oysters, tuna crudo, and diver scallops. My husband had filet. It was all just wonderful. I recommend and will also return.

Valentine’s Day dinner. Food was hot , cooked just the way I ordered . I had steak, she had salmon. Both thought they were very good. Sea food tower was appetizer . Scallops and crab cake were good. Prawns were battered and I didn’t like that.

SeaStar is a great restaurant, we visited it many times and considered the best one around. It is still very good, but after remodeling it seems to lose some part of the charm, in all respects - food is not exactly as it was, interior is trivialized, service is not as exquisite - only the prices went up. Pity...
