   Very bright lights, empty restaurant, (no other couples on a Saturday night) no background music, no atmosphere, total time spent was 45 mins, couldn’t wait to go back to our cosy hotel nearby and sit at the roaring fire with a cheeseboard as we were still hungry. Starter was cold, main was inedible so left it. Has potential but seriously needs to up its game to compete with the amazing standard of food at its rival hotel.

   Lovely night, food was good, service was spot on but thought we were booked into the Meall Reamhar Restaurant and not the Bistro, but that did not spoil the evening.

   Good food however the restaurant was very cold. No Sunday Lunch menu.

   Whilst it initially took a longer time than expected to be served, the owner took the time to come to our table and personally apologise and offered to put things right. This made a huge difference and helped us to get over this as a problem. The food was amazing, very flavoursome and the presentation was also excellent. The service was also very good. I will look forward to returning some time soon. We have a static caravan across the loch so good to know we have such a great option on the door step.

   Wanted to try this restaurant after going to Tarken Bistro a couple of times and being very impressed. Great food - great views - a hidden treasure on beautiful Loch Earn

   The food was actually good but the service was really bad. We were in the restaurant for over an hour before we were served our starter. The whole meal lasted almost three hours nad we still had a 100 mile plus journey home when finished. Although the food was fine the whole experience is something I will not be doing again.
