Seasons has maintained its quality over the years, with creative and tasty new offerings plus classics. I especially loved the grilled vegetable platter. It had a good variety of perfectly-done seasonal veggies served over a really nice wild rice and pepita pilaf. The servers were responsive and helpful. Our items were a little slow coming out on a busy Saturday night. The restaurant may have been a tad under-staffed due to the general labor shortage. We were outside on a well-heated patio. The noise level is low except when a rare train goes by. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience.

The hostess was thoughtful and accommodating. And our waiter had the added plus of knowing wine. Great food too.

Breeze from back door to patio comes into dining room which is annoying. Nice wine choices. Salas too much dressing (Caesar) salmon appetizer very good. Burger stacked too high to bite. Nice mix of meat on it.

Nice restaurant in Davis! Great decor. Food was good and nice portions (burgers were big!). It took a looong time to get our food (hence 3 rating on service) but at least our server acknowledged it a time or two. I would recommend overall - maybe they were just slammed that night…

About 3-4 years ago, Seasons was sold to new owners. I had eaten there 30-40 times over several years. Although the new owners kept the name, it’s never been the same experience. And that’s disappointing.

I’ve not eaten at the new Seasons a few times- maybe twice before Covid and again last night, the first time in about 2 years. Some of the same wait staff still are there, and it’s nice to see a friendly face. When we went after the reopening, we were disappointed at the menu, the quality of the food, and the new ambience.

So we decided to try again, to see if there were any changes as we come out of Covid. We all quickly commented that the food was excellent. While our waitstaff was attentive and personable, the kitchen was slow and it was a tedious wait. The bar service was a letdown: when ordering drinks of straight liquor, it’s easy to tell the drink is watered down.

Although the food was excellent, I’m not sure we’ll be going back again.

Enjoyed our seats at the bar. Delicious food, super friendly staff. They left us in peace while taking our time to sample a couple of appetizers, moving on to the delicious wood oven veggies and the pizza. Delicious wines. Crisp menu makes for easy decisions.

The food and drink were the very best. The service also. I'd like to dine with you more often but next time I'll go easy on the drinks and desert to soften the bill a bit.

We had not been to Seasons after the management chance die to the more “foody” menu and high prices (including $6 for a bread basket) and hearing reviews that the food was not that good. However, after seeing the current cocktail and dinner menu online we decided to give it a try. Although it’s still a bit pricier than it should be, it was a very nice evening.

We ate here because of the nice outdoor patio, which was comfortable even with rain. Two in our party were happy with their food, but my husband’s hamburger was cold, and my “bowl” of soup, while tasty, was very small for its $10 price. The server, while he have been overstretched, was impatient and unfriendly. This is a higher-end restaurant, one of the few in Davis, but we are unlikely to come again.

Dined here in Feb of 2021 and it was much better. They don’t seem to have their act together anymore. Somehow the restaurant didn’t know that it was parents weekend at UC Davis. How is that possible? They were completely unprepared. They were out of many of their main dishes and told us they had no idea there was some event in town over the weekend. It’s Davis - there were parades going through town and signs up for Aggie Spirit Week and parent weekend. They also brought out our main dishes before our appetizer or cocktails. There were a series of mistakes. In addition they kept asking to clear our plates before we were finished. We were not there late at all and they were half empty so there was no need to hurry us along. The food was good but it seemed like they were a new restaurant training staff instead of an establishment that has been around for a while. We will try some other spots when we are back in Davis. Lastly the lighting was too bright so it took away from the otherwise nice decor.

seasons are a varied menu that can fit likes of all diners. I had a pear/arugula salad and smoked salmon bruchetta and both were delicious. My fellow diners had more traditional meals - meatballs and pasta and burgers and all looked great.
Train noise is a bit distracting but I guess it gives a city flavor.
All in all, friendly ambiance and enjoyable meal.

It was fine. I heard good things about their cheeseburger, but for$20 it fell short of $12 cheeseburger I could have purchased at Burgers and Brew across the street.

Nice atmosphere, great service but food options for vegetarians is limited. I would not order the summer gazpacho soup again. Very strange flavors. Pizza was delicious and had unique flavors that, overall, were very pleasing.

A reliable restaurant. The entrées are relatively straightforward;. The pork belly appetizer, and short rib meal were good. Wine list is short but with a range of reasonably priced wines - but they were out of my two first choices… Service was excellent and friendly. The outdoor patio is comfortable, if you don’t mind the occasional Amtrak train going bye. Overall, a solid choice.

I thank the manager Ben for encouraging a great replacement for the gazpacho that I did not enjoy.
The yellow gazpacho was too thick and creamy for my taste. The potato flatbread was perfect for me along with the arugula and peach salad.

Seasons has become the best ‘fine’ restaurant in Davis. The menu is casual, seasonal, and varied. Service is good, prices reasonable. Some years ago the best place was M.S. but it has become pretty awful. The Italian gem O.F. Is excellent but pricey. Seasons fits the bill nicely.

It is always a challenge for us to find upscale dining that has something for the both of us to enjoy. The vegan options are fantastic as well as the non vegan options. Everyone that works there goes out of their way to ensure you are taken care of. We will be back, often!
