Sat outside. Outstanding gardens! Great service. Portions were good.
Excellent entrees, the cabernet was exceptional! Very tasteful, almost unnoticeable Plexiglass barriers between tables helped all parties relax. With live music!!
The service was excellent. Because of COVID restrictions, there were fewer people in the dining area.
We will go back to dine as the food is excellent. The choices are varied. The quantity is good
We had the dinner package and were very pleased with the value for the money spent.
Our server was terrible!!! Nice guy but forgot everything, my husbands coffee, my soda, my husbands dinner order as wrong! It was not busy at all, but our server was not present, did not seem interested in serving us. The other young women serving had to help us each time, including cashing us out so we could leave, and bringing us a box for the leftovers. We typically tip extremely well, but considering our service we barely left a tip (which I hate). Would have left a bigger tip for the young women who DID help us, but she seemed like an honest girl who would of gave it to waiter assigned to our table instead of keeping it, and he didn’t deserve it. Thinking I should stop by tomorrow and speak to the manager, and leave some $$ for her. So disappointing, we really enjoy this place every other time, we didn’t even stay for the music, what a shame!!
Good place to watch a Ducks basketball game and have decent pub grub.
I enjoyed the salmon, my husband had the surf and turf special. Our only disappointment was that they were out of the special dessert we wanted so I guess we need to go earlier next time. The desserts we ordered were very good - peach crisp and carrot cake. We were happy that the covid restrictions finally let us sit down inside a restaurant.
We had a blast and the dinner was perfect! Loved the outdoor patio for safe dining and the lights were brilliant. Our server was especially amazing.
The food was pretty good for the price and our waitress was very nice and helpful. Only complaint is how cold it was but we can thank our governor for that.
Patio wasn't "so bad" - food was good and staff where accommodating.
Propane heaters at each table helped but the net result was one barely warm side, one cold side. Ate entree while it was warm, nibbled remaining food which was pretty cold. We will return here when we can eat indoors, or when summer comes.
Our waiter was slow and terribly unorganized. Our checks were wrong several times.
Usually this place is top notch, I think it must have been a difficult night dealing with the current communistic regulations. Food was good! Could use better heaters it was cold outside.
We were seated on the balcony overlooking the holiday lights. It was magical! Salmon was amazing.
What a treat for Christmas dinner during the pandemic! We went particularly for the prime rib and wete not disappointed. Four tables outside on a balcony, beautiful lights in the garden area, friendly fellow diners. The prime rib was cooked perfectly, as were the mashed potatoes and carrots. The rosemary au jus was delicious, and I don't usually like it! Will definitely go back.
We had an amazing dinner while overlooking the holiday lights. The food and drinks were delicious. The server deserves special mention for attentiveness and enthusiastic welcome. We actually felt like they were glad we came.
My only complaint, which was quickly addressed by our waitress and with the cooks compliance was at 4pm only the bar menu was available, something we were not aware of when we made dinner reservations. With covid we picked the earlier time slot for dinner and we were served an excellent meal from the dinner menu.
Thank you Village Green. Dinner, Christmas lights and an excellent meal.
Absolutely loved the food and service!
We ate outside by all the Christmas lights and had our own heater. We felt very much like we were in Santa clause land. It was so special and my granddaughters loved it so much.
We will be back next year. I'm hoping it will be outside again without covid.
Our family had a great time. Beautiful view of the lights & we had some delicious food/drinks. Our waitress was really great. Definitely recommend!
Excellent experience outdoor dining (during winter) surrounded by beautiful holiday lights and light holiday background music. Personal heater was supplied and we maintained a distance from other guests (balcony is limited to four tables). Our server, Cooper, made our anniversary evening special.
We ordered take out from the lounge and ate it on the patio off our room. It was great!
It is very nice and the food was delicious, the staff were very nice and helpful when trying to decide what to have. I had the recommendation on the special which was their tri tip. My wife had their New York steak. We both had the garlic mashed potatoes and baby candied carrots. For dessert we had the Creme Brule. It was all very delicious and there was more than plenty for us. We also had a bottle of wine and it was very good also. We had come for the the getaway for two package, which is a very good deal. We would do it again.
Very nice quiet, "classic", atmosphere, very good service, and great food. Extremely good value for what you get, especially the "dinner escape package."
The kitchen crew here know food. The dinner was excellent! We used to have an award-winning restaurant, so we're impressed when food comes out not only beautifully presented but with flavors and combinations that elicit “mmmm’s”.
Well run establishment, with very good food at a reasonable price (considering quality). Highly recommend for those staying at The Village Green.
We had placed our reservation a few days before and thanks to the app, changing it several times was not an issue. We used the dinner package and were so impressed with the meal we got for the $40.00. We loved the wine, and now I wish I had purchased a bottle to bring home. My pasta was absolutely divine and the portion more than I could eat! I will be staying there for every bowling tournament!
I already posted a "Recommendation" on my facebook page!
This is the best deal since sliced bread! Excellent meal and incredible value.
Wines not bad either
This is the second time that I have eaten there and this is the second time that the service was not very good and some of the food was not properly prepared. My son ordered a tri-tip steak medium rare and it was almost well done. My wife ordered a new york steak well done and it was medium well. It also had a lot of gristle on it. The bread that was brought to the table early in the meal was cold. We did not send the steaks back as it had taken quite a while to even get the food and didn't want to wait while new steaks were cooked.
The restaurant was not very busy but our server seemed to disappear for lengthy periods of time. At one point, after I had finished eating, I went to the restroom and found her standing at a table talking to some people that I assume were her friends. A little later, she brought the bill and then disappeared. I eventually got up and went into the other dining area to get her and again found her laughing and talking with that same group. I realize that she had other tables to serve but at this point, our table and the other one were the only two that were occupied. I don't know if there was a staffing shortage or any other issues but the entire dining experience took two hours from being seated to exiting the restaurant. The server was very pleasant and professional.
The redesign of the restaurant is lovely, we felt very safe. Our server was outstanding. The soup and salad were great, bread hot and delicious. The prime rib was ok, the vegetables were fresh and perfectly prepared. The potato presentation was awful - two big scoops with brown gravy! We probably won't have the prime rib again but will come back and try other things when we visit again. Considering COVID - it was all very good.
Certainly one of the best here in Cottage Grove, OR. The onerous restrictions imposed by our government have been well overcome in terms of social distancing and other basic requirements. Unfortunately, the restrictions include masks on the servers which are a distraction.
There was no hostess to seat us so we waited forever. We finally gave up after 20 minutes and went to the Lounge. They were out of everything. Salmon, steak, shrimp. They had salads and pasta available. The pasta my boyfriend ordered looked pre-packaged. My rice and carrots were overcooked (non-edible rice) and the chicken picatta I had was cold. Our waitress got our drinks and we never talked to her again because she didn’t come around until she ran my card. A young man though named Cameron was amazing and tried really hard to make sure we were taken care of. We left him a big tip.
First time visiting for prime rib dinner. We had only been there one time before and dinner was excellent then! The only thing I did not like was the gravy on my mashed potatoes since they were garlic mash, and I don’t prefer gravy on my garlic mashed potatoes. Had I known ahead, I would have asked to omit the gravy, but it was no big deal really. Everyone is so friendly there. The restaurant was very clean and inviting. The portions are large. The cocktails are really good and inexpensive. We will be going back soon! They have a great menu. We plan to visit the lounge at some point, but haven’t got around to it yet. Looking forward to hearing the live music.
Not worth the money. The food is well prepared. But the menu is old and tired. So is the restaurant. The service staff is great! Kind of musty.
Considering there were only 3 tables occupied, the service was non-existent. We got served our food and not once did the server come back
We enjoy going here often. A bit different with Covid restrictions but still enjoyable.
The food way to die for!!!! Service was amazing, band kept a good vibe and played a great variety of songs
Great food and staff we will definitely visit again!
Food was deliciously presented! There was a variety of menus options, though vegetarian limited. Service was attentive and not invasive. Little ambience but amazing value. We’ll come again.
This is our 2nd year here. Loved it ❤️ Rooms are very nice and comfortable. The dinner was very good to. The different music is very nice to make everyone happy.
Wonderful Christmas Day dinner! There were not too many restaurants open in our area, so we were happy to find Seasons at the Green. Besides their regular menu, there was a special plate containing turkey, ham, yams, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce. It was delicious. The atmosphere was romantic and the prices were reasonable. We’ll come again.
Came during Dec. It was great! The Half a million Christmas lights display was amazing.
I had the salmon. My dater had the Surf and Turf. Excellent. the best part of our meal was our waitress named Hope> What a super star!!!
