Food was AMAZING!! I would of ate way more if I didn’t want to have to be rolled out. Drinks were delicious as well.
Highly recommend the Fresh Squeezed cocktail if you like them tart - delicious.
The meatballs, mussels, and burrata were also amazing.
I get brussel sprouts whenever a restaurant has them because they are delicious - I might have to say these were the best ones I’ve ever had. Top 2 for sure.
A trendy restaurant with an industrial look but the food was delicious! Everything had layers of flavor which I'm still salivating for! We split the mussels appetizer and although the mussels were small the broth they were in was great -- the chorizo and spices gave them a wonderful flavor. The garlic on the pork chop was so tasty, not pungent at all, and the cookies & milk dessert came with 4 huge cookies, not little ones that you'd expect. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in San Diego!
The service was good, everyone was really nice. The food was overpriced and actually not that good. The drinks on the hand were better so maybe they want you to get so drunk you don't notice the food sucks.
Excellent food and service, but the music was very loud. Apparently, it was their hip hop brunch, but that was not indicated when I made the booking. It was uncomfortably loud and I would have gone elsewhere had I known it was a hip hop brunch with extremely loud music.
Awesome catch of the day!
Overall a great experience! Thanks for making the occasion so special.
Great food, vibe and service
It took a little long for our food because there were so many large tables (we were a party of 6), but the staff was great & even with the wait kept us informed & brought extra sides out to compensate. It wasn’t too loud for our business meeting & was really enjoyable.
Birthday dinner was fantastic
Food was way too salty. Think the kitchen had a heavy hand with the salt shaker that night. Service was OK...we LOVED the ambiance when the 6 of us arrived, the restaurant is beautiful and we had heard great things. Half of us liked our dish, the other half were disappointed. Sadly we are not a picky crowd. Gas Lamp area is GREAT though.
One of the best restaurants we have been to - tasty food, ambiance and value for money
Exceptional knowledgeable and enthusiastic waiter. I wish more like him
The service was wonderful, as was the meal.
AMAZING from start to finish, service and food were both spectacular! Def recommend!
Food was excellent! Great experience
I had Sunday brunch, and the food and drinks were great, as was the service. But the live music was extremely LOUD. The singer's volume was so intolerable for table conversation. Having a live musician was nice, but not at the volume level requiring me to strain my own voice shouting to converse with my table mate.
Great food, wonderful service and fun decor. We will definitely come back!
This was the low key kickoff to a bachelorette weekend. It was a great start, with delicious drinks and the DJ starting in the bar while we were finishing dinner.
Dinner was amazing! We sat on the patio because the inside was way too loud to hold a conversation. But the patio was really nice, service was excellent, drinks were great, and food was awesome! Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!
Grilled octopus was delicious. Also liked the artichoke hearts. Other items were meh. Mussels were over cooked and chorizo was too spicy, drowning out the flavor of the mussels and broth.
Brunch was pretty average and didn’t really live up to its hype. I had the green eggs and ham and the pork belly was practically all fat. My friend had the chilaquilles and that looked really good. Great service though.
Good food , the service can be improved , the ambiance is nice but too noisy
Not family friendly. We went there with toddlers because the website posted a children’s menu. However, it’s apparently brand new and not served during weekend brunch. Because one of the waiters could see we were struggling with what to do, they volunteered to let us order from the children’s menu. We thought that was lovely until it turned out that the kitchen staff was inexperienced with it, and it took twice as long to get the kids food as the adults. For a place that just enacted a children’s menu, they are woefully unprepared to serve families.
Additionally, our waitress oddly forgot 3/4 drinks we ordered and seemed to vanish from the restaurant for a full ten minutes after we ordered. It took an eternity to get the first half of our food, even though the restaurant was half empty. They brought all the adult food first which was very frustrating given that we had tired and hungry children. It was at this point that our waitress finally explained that the kitchen staff didn’t know how to cook the children’s food and it was going to take even longer. She had also forgotten the side of fries that we had ordered for the kids and had not brought that either.
They comped a lot of our meal and we’re very apologetic, but in general the whole experience was a mess.
Searsucker is a must for us when in San Diego or Las Vegas. Its always the best meal and usually excellent service. This time it was 5 Stars all around. Thanks for a great experience. We will be back..
Vacation trip to San Diego with advanced reservations on a Thursday night. Sat at the table unattended for about half an hour until the waiter made his first stop. Ordered drinks and a charcuterie board. Both eventually arrived but with no explanation of the features of the board. Dinner order eventually taken which took quite some time to arrive. The order included the wrong item brought up my daughter, an incredible lukewarm pork chop and finally a piece of raw salmon. Very disappointing experience and would not return to this venue.
It was great !
My husband and I were in San Diego on a weekend away and we always make a point of having lunch or dinner here. Our service started off at 4 stars and after our main course was served we were completely abandoned. I had to make obvious gestures to get the manager’s attention to order our desert and then it took at least another 10 minutes for our dessert to appear. Then it took forever to get our check. It really put a damper on what was otherwise a nice meal. The meatballs were not hot and very salty but our mussels, salads and desert were all great. The peach and mozzarella salad was a standout as was the Caesar.
Not a ton of menu choices
Great ambiance for a fun brunch with friends
Great restaurant this was our second time. Looking forward to coming back again.
Had the grilled octopus and lamb necks....both were outstanding!
Sat outside on the patio with a great people watching view!
Loved the evening!
overpriced and flavorless food. the bench fabric had tape on it holding a huge hole shut on the seat. server had no idea about anything we asked from champagne price to what juices they have. didnt even bring an ice bucket with the bottle. overall pretty mediocre
Service was amazing. Live music with an awesome artist. Good food and great vibes.
We dined at Searsucker for our anniversary. We found the restaurant had Great ambiance and
service very attentive. Food was delicious, flank steak, tuna tartare, and duck fat fries.
Searsucker was AMAZING! The staff was warm and friendly and the food was delicious! Abigail, Nate and Madison made our visit extra special 😊
We got horrible service and they couldn't coordinate the timing with the 40 once Tomahawk steak and the rest of the parties food order. It was a mess.
Advice: serve food at the same time.
Great choice. Interesting dishes in a casual environment.
What a fun night! We had a blast at Searsucker. Amazing food and service. My only concern is that they add a 3% service charge on the bill for the California minimum wage. Don't surprise guests with added fees at the end. This 3% should be included in the price of the menu items.
Will be back!
We came for brunch during comic con and the service and food was amazing, thank you to our server Natalie!
