Went for a business lunch. Restaurant was empty but music was super loud. Food was ok but service was not great- don’t think they understand people want to be in n out for lunch.
It used to be a lot better for lunch. I feel it's gone a bit average...
Good food. Seating is important at this restaurant. Don't sit near the kitchen or prep area. Too loud/distracting and crowded.
Good place. Will recommend it to others.
Food was delicious and service was almost perfect apart from the fact our starters came out after our mains arrived! Would deffo go back
Recommend the burrata or lamb neck!
This was such a nice experience! Form the bartender at the bar that made the beat martini i think I’ve ever had to the final bill which was so reasonable that I had to look twice. The food was amazing and Richard our server made us feel totally at home. Loved this place years ago and I’m happy to say it is still a favorite. See you next time
Everything was amazing. Great food, excellent service. Definitely will be returning
It's a nice place. I got the New York Strip. The steak was good, cooked right. DIdn't come with alot of potatos or mushrooms. Really just enough to say they were there. If you I think it's alittle over priced.
Nice venue. Pricing a little high, but not drastic. I had cobb salad and something in the salad was very salty, not sure if it was dressing or chicken, but I really tasted a lot of salt.
Our server was the best we had in San Diego (and the best I've had in a long time.) Very attentive, knowledgeable, and fun. We had a great time. The manager even found out that we were a bachelorette party and did something special for the bride to be.
Great brunch options with fun cocktails and a delicious sticky bun.
The food was so delicious and the staff was amazing! Katie was the best server!
Food was average for downtown. Nothing special. Service was very poor. We got the main courses BEFORE the appetizers. But the worst part is that the music was so loud that we couldn't talk to each other. Even the waiter had to yell to be heard. I enjoy loud music in a club, but not when I am sitting to eat at a restaurant. I don't know why they do this. Never going back.
The NY strip was incredible and the drinks were impressive! I'll be back soon.
Great food and drinks, brunch with a live DJ was awesome.
We’ve been there quite a few times. At least once or twice a month and this is the first time our waiter did not come to check in on us and on top of it, did not get all of our items ordered to us. When some of those items were asked for more than once. We purposely left a not so good tip. Disappointed for the first time in the service from a waiter at this specific restaurant. Because regardless of what’s going on in the kitchen, I feel as though it is the waiters responsibility to check in on us & make sure requested food items (especially those ordered more than once) have been brought out. And to top it off...items not brought to us were charged on check, until brought to attention & then deleted.
Very nice but menu wasn't great for business.
Raw chicken, barely an apology, only 2 tables over lunch - lost it's VIBE!
Food was AMAZING!! I would of ate way more if I didn’t want to have to be rolled out. Drinks were delicious as well.
Highly recommend the Fresh Squeezed cocktail if you like them tart - delicious.
The meatballs, mussels, and burrata were also amazing.
I get brussel sprouts whenever a restaurant has them because they are delicious - I might have to say these were the best ones I’ve ever had. Top 2 for sure.
A trendy restaurant with an industrial look but the food was delicious! Everything had layers of flavor which I'm still salivating for! We split the mussels appetizer and although the mussels were small the broth they were in was great -- the chorizo and spices gave them a wonderful flavor. The garlic on the pork chop was so tasty, not pungent at all, and the cookies & milk dessert came with 4 huge cookies, not little ones that you'd expect. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in San Diego!
The service was good, everyone was really nice. The food was overpriced and actually not that good. The drinks on the hand were better so maybe they want you to get so drunk you don't notice the food sucks.
Excellent food and service, but the music was very loud. Apparently, it was their hip hop brunch, but that was not indicated when I made the booking. It was uncomfortably loud and I would have gone elsewhere had I known it was a hip hop brunch with extremely loud music.
Awesome catch of the day!
Overall a great experience! Thanks for making the occasion so special.
Great food, vibe and service
It took a little long for our food because there were so many large tables (we were a party of 6), but the staff was great & even with the wait kept us informed & brought extra sides out to compensate. It wasn’t too loud for our business meeting & was really enjoyable.
Birthday dinner was fantastic
Food was way too salty. Think the kitchen had a heavy hand with the salt shaker that night. Service was OK...we LOVED the ambiance when the 6 of us arrived, the restaurant is beautiful and we had heard great things. Half of us liked our dish, the other half were disappointed. Sadly we are not a picky crowd. Gas Lamp area is GREAT though.
One of the best restaurants we have been to - tasty food, ambiance and value for money
Exceptional knowledgeable and enthusiastic waiter. I wish more like him
The service was wonderful, as was the meal.
AMAZING from start to finish, service and food were both spectacular! Def recommend!
Food was excellent! Great experience
I had Sunday brunch, and the food and drinks were great, as was the service. But the live music was extremely LOUD. The singer's volume was so intolerable for table conversation. Having a live musician was nice, but not at the volume level requiring me to strain my own voice shouting to converse with my table mate.
Great food, wonderful service and fun decor. We will definitely come back!
This was the low key kickoff to a bachelorette weekend. It was a great start, with delicious drinks and the DJ starting in the bar while we were finishing dinner.
Dinner was amazing! We sat on the patio because the inside was way too loud to hold a conversation. But the patio was really nice, service was excellent, drinks were great, and food was awesome! Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!
Grilled octopus was delicious. Also liked the artichoke hearts. Other items were meh. Mussels were over cooked and chorizo was too spicy, drowning out the flavor of the mussels and broth.
Brunch was pretty average and didn’t really live up to its hype. I had the green eggs and ham and the pork belly was practically all fat. My friend had the chilaquilles and that looked really good. Great service though.
Good food , the service can be improved , the ambiance is nice but too noisy
