We feel so fortunate to have had this restaurant recommended to us from our hotel. The service was amazing as was the quality of the food. We plan to make this a regular stop each time we are in the area.

During the pandemic the seating was outside but it was well set up and did have good quality heat lamps near the tables. Service was excellent and friendly and the food came out at a good pace and was perfectly cooked. I can’t really find anything i would want improved!

When we arrived we where greeted by one of the owners. My boyfriend asked for recommendations since they are new and they don't have alot of reviews online. He gladly helped us out and he also guided us to the table with the hosts.

Service was on point, they kept our table clean and all drinks were being brought out within 5min. Our waiter was very friendly.

Food was excellent. We had the bone marrow as an appetizer, we highly recommend!!. We also had the rib eye and new York steak with a side of asparagus. Everything was done with perfection.

Food is good, service quite good. Like any restaurant new and coming out of Covid it has a few bugs to work out. Wait times for food were a bit long and a lot of folks running around. The servers are well trained and the wine list is quite good Like a Steak house prices are up there but the food quality is deserving. A return to normalcy will be a blessing here as they have a good concept and good execution. We will be back

My husband and I each got the filet mignon with lobster tail added and it was incredible! We asked for medium plus and it was cooked perfectly! The wine selection was great as well, and service was top notch! Highly recommend!

Met the owner as I walked in and he was very enthusiastic and greeted the customers. The place was full on a Thursday at 6:30pm. Food was perfect steak house fare - delicious rib eye and mushroom side that was great and not doused in sauce. Started with a cup of delicious tomato pepper soup, and lots of good local wine on the menu.

Steakhouse “usuals” - steak, wedge salad, martini, dessert - were excellent. Salmon was not, nor were the sides we tried: mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, cauliflower. Service and ambiance were excellent. Just think for the price it should all be great so something to work on.

We are so lucky to have this high quality steak house in Solvang. It's so nice to stroll around and then be able to have such a thoughtful menu with well prepared farm fresh items to choose from. The cocktail menu was lovely, I had the Above Snakes and they have a real bar as well as a nice wine list. We had appetizers entrees and wonderful sided. One of my favorites was the fresh pea salad, a breath of spring. My French picky husband and my oyster loving friend enjoyed the fresh oysters on the half shell. My filet was perfectly cooked and the orzo side dish and roasted brussel sprouts were a nice addition. Too full for dessert this time but we will be back. This place is not cheap but nothing really good is these days. I hope you'll support them so they'll be around for MANY years to come.

Very Hip cute restaurant great drinks Food was just okay! very salty steak was over cooked sides very so so so salty. you cant taste much seasoning except salt. We were looking forward to this place since we heard it's the new Gem of Solvang and were a bit disappointed. Will be going back to our favorite place the Hitching Post.

Everything about this restaurant is going to be great. My only suggestion is to upgrade the quality and quantity of the side dishes. The cocktails, the meats, and the service are wonderful - then the sides are average. I will be back.

The best filet mignon that we have ever had. The staff was outstanding, very professional, and most attentive. The owner is extremely friendly and works alongside the executive chief to ensure amazing quality. Highly recommended!

Finally a restaurant staying open past 10pm in Solvang.

Fabulous meal & setting at Sear! The intimate setting was lovely, we sat by the fireplace. The bar was beautiful and the server very personable. The food was all 5 star - steak perfect, my husband & I shared the Wedge salad - so good and picture worthy. I wish we had room for the butter cake - sure it was amazing! We will get it next time! Thank you Sear for an amazing evening!

This restaurant has been open a very brief time and has been top notch since week one. May be a bit pricey to some, but don't let that scare you. You get a lot of food and will be taking some home with you. As a local, this will continue to be one of my "go-to's." Want ideas of what to order? Try the crab cakes (my second favorite crab cakes in CA), fried cauliflower, the whipped potatoes with lobster (order 2), crispy brussel sprouts, filets, salmon, scallops and definitely the butter cake and cocktails (spicy margarita, Sear-iously, espresso martini).

Great service and very solid steak. High quality meat with nothing but salt and pepper. Nice crust in outside and perfect medium rare as ordered. They also accommodated our dogs on the outdoor patio. Will definitely visit again!

Our experience was basically good and the food was exceptional. My husband is a pescatarian but they did have some fish and many salad options. They had lobster tail as a starter, or add-on, for 20.00 each. He asked for two for his entree and was told it would then be 25.00 each. This seemed ridiculous to us since the sizes were the same. We “grinned and bore it” but for a restaurant that is a la crate with high price points and also charges 3.00 for any sauces used on the meat dishes, this should never have happened. Additionally, we ordered starters, salad, wine and a cocktail. Still thinking about this one........?
