The food was absolutely delicious. The steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The drinks were yummy. The service was great. But the time it took them over an hour to serve us our food. The manager recognized the issue and graciously comped our meal. We will come back again!

Amazing service, outstanding food, absolutely wonderful experience from check in to dessert. All staff went above and beyond to ensure a fun dining adventure. Can’t wait or go again! Prime bone in rib-eye with truffle butter…. Um, Yes please! Can’t remember having a better steak!!! Sear salad was fresh and delicious. Crab cake starter all crab and melted in your mouth. Can’t wait to visit again soon! Yum!

Great ambiance and food was delicious! We asked the server how big were the side orders and were told by server they were pretty much for 1 person. However when we got the sides, they were definitely for 2 people!!! A little disappointed we were steered wrong on that. How do you put mash potatoes and asparagus in a doggy bag? At the prices we should have known better. Oh well live and learn.

We sat on the front patio covered dining, getting there about 6:00. The patio had a few people and the staff was very attentive explaining the menu thoroughly. Then more and more people came and it got louder and louder making conversation difficult. (This was on a Tuesday evening). We split the beet and goat cheese salad which was quite good. For entrees we had the scallops and New York steak. with Mushroom truffle risotto and cauliflower for the side. The scallops were good, but had a surprising amount of crunchy sand in them. The New York was crusted top and bottom and definitely more towards well than the medium I ordered. It was dry and a bit chewy. They did bring their special steak sauce which frankly tasted very much like A-1, but provided some needed moisture to the steak. Dessert was Crème Brule and Butter Cake, both were quite good. Their signature spicy margarita is a giant chili ice cube in a small glass with the margarita around the ice cube to deliver spice as it melts, but it did not melt within the 20 minutes that I sipped it while waiting for our first course. Anyway, we are glad we tried the place, though the $250 price for the 2 of us made this a one time occurrence.

Our first time there. The staff were very welcoming, the roasted bone marrow was superb and the 8oz Fillets were cooked perfectly. If I had a criticism it would be that the steak could have been a tad warmer.

This was the worst dinner we have ever had. We ordered $69 rib-eye steaks that were served cold, did not have bone-in, not tender or ribeye like. Don’t know what meat was actually used. In addition, we were charged $2.25 for each stuffed blue cheese olive in our $17 martinis and $2.00 each for anchovies in our Caesar salad. Finally, they charged $3.00 per person for a side of horseradish condiment. I also waited 20 minutes for a glass of Sprite. Lastly our side order of Brussel Sprouts that cost $10 was served cold as well. We will never return and advise you not to eat there as well.

Server was very nice and friendly, drinks where nicely made. Food came out fairly quickly. Steaks were cooked perfectly which was very nice. Only real complaint if I had to say anything; slightly overpriced of a menu being that everything is a’la cart

It was our first time at Sear’s Steakhouse. You can sit outside or dine indoors. We sat inside. Kind of dark but ok. Had lobster, 14 oz steak medium rare (came out perfect & well seasoned) with wild mushrooms and asparagus. Service was okay. Drinks were good but they took too long to come out We’ve been to many steakhouses and I thought it was too expensive compared to other restaurants with better food, service and overall appearance.

We enjoyed our meal at Sear. We started with the Ox Tail Bone Marrow, highly recommend! The Ox Tail had phenomenal flavor. I had the filet for dinner, added truffle butter. The filet was cooked really well, the truffle butter was okay, but slightly lacking in flavor. My husband had the beef Wellington special and really enjoyed it. All meals are A’La carte so we ordered the mushroom risotto, it was okay flavor wise, but was saucy and definitely more of a pilaf and less of a risotto. The cocktails we GREAT, get The Retox! We would eat here again next time we are in town! Great back patio.

Amazing food, pricey but all very high end. The steak was perfectly aged and perfectly cooked, they know what they are doing. Paco was an excellent host. Everything was super tasty, drinks were so so but the food is off the charts.

We were in Solvang for two nights and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Sear. We started with the bone marrow which was much heartier than we expected because they added pulled meat on top. It was tasty. Their warm bread, oregano butter and pickled veggies are a delicious start to the meal. For our dinner entree, we chose the 32oz tomahawk steak, whipped potatoes, and grilled asparagus. We accompanied the steak with a Malbec. Everything was excellent! What a treat this dinner was for us. We’ll be back on our next trip for sure!

From ambiance, to service to food ... all an A+. Our waiter provided the best recommendations for the sides which were all delicious. With no room left for more, we had to try the creme brûlée which did not disappoint. Patio dining was awesome.

LOVE this place and will come back if in the area. Highly recommend. We had the halibut (special), the filet mignon, shrimp cocktail, lobster mash potatoes - all excellent. The cocktails were great, too! The only thing that needs work were the Brussels Sprouts, in my opinion (too dry and not very flavorful)

What an amazing experience. This is one of the best steakhouses we've ever been to. We enjoyed every aspect of service and Jeremy was amazing and very efficient. The food was not only delicious but exceeded our expectations. The cream spinach was out of this world. The ambiance was just right and the overall experience was phenomenal. The ribeye was cooked perfectionately and everything tasted good and was balanced with flavor. This is truly a hidden gem in Solvang.

Our filet mignons were exceptional, the apricot cocktails were tasty, the wine was delicious, and the ambience and service were lovely. The only negative was the sides/vegetables, which felt very average and consequently did not justify their a la carte pricing. Otherwise, very much worth visiting (at least once).

This is a fabulous venue to celebrate a life event. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The cocktails we're refreshing and you could taste the ingredients melding together to make a delicious libation. Paco is a treat! His smile and laughter were great! The food is truly amazing and you can't beat the freshness! A must try for all!

Service was great. Be sure to make reservations. Price was on the high end so don't go if you want to find a bargain. But you do get what you paid for. Three of us split the tomahawk prime rib with some steak leftover. The salad was great and the rosemary bread was worth seconds. We didn't stay for dessert, a mistake on our part. It looked awesome!

Loved everything about this place except the part owner that was onsite. Extremely rude…cursed because we were late for our reservation even tho I called and asked us to be quiet after making friends with the table next to us. Our waiter on the other hand was amazing! Polite funny knowledgeable and made sure we were smiling!

We were pleasantly surprised how get the food was here at Sear Steakhouse!
They had the best Steak Tartare that I've ever had, and the filet mignon was so tender and flavorful!
We will always make sure that we stop by here for dinner every time we pass by Solvang!

We came here to try your new restaurant so we could recommend it to our guests but the food was over priced. The service was lacking and the vibe was off, we felt like we couldn’t enjoy ourselves. I’ll continue recommending hitching post.
