The food was delicious and the waiter was outstanding! He even went to get the name of the cauliflower pasta for us. Lively and casual atmospheric. Heard an interview about Seamore’s on mbg podcast. It did not disappoint. Will come back!
Great food for a reasonable price I had the fish of the day (monkfish) and it was amazing when I paired it with Miso Brown Butter. If you are in the mood for seafood I’d recommend this restaurant
Good and service are outstanding. It’s just noisy. But worth it despite the noise
Excellent food and service. Will definitely come back when in town again.
Food was amazing. Wine pour left much to be desired. Presentation was excellent. Would definitely recommend.
The food and service were both quite good. We went early on a Saturday night and when we first walked in it sounded pretty loud, but once we were seated, the noise was not a problem. The menu offers a wide variety of options and prices. I'd definitely go back.
Delicious and healthy food. Great for dinner or lunch when going to the Joyce.
I always enjoy this restaurant when I am in New York and going to The Joyce. On Saturday though, my Bloody Mary was so spicy that I only drank half and pretty much forced that down. The garnish was also very sad looking. I ordered the Lobster Benedict. It was barely luke warm On the other hand, the french fries were fabulous! I didn't say anything and should have, I know, but time was of the essence.
I had seen a pix of scallops & pasta on Instagram .
It looked so delectable , I couldn’t get it out of my
Mind. We ordered it tonight. It did not disappoint!!!
Great food, fun place
Wonder food for a non fish lover. The service is always lovely. The noise level is HORRIBLE.
Excellent fresh food. Great service!
Our party of 5 had a great meal; the wait staff was delightful. Highly recommend!
The food was good, nicely presented, and fairly priced. The menus is well-designed and imaginative. The “music” level is at a decibel level that made us want to run! We felt empathy for the workers. Wouldn’t return without a reduction in noise.
The happy hour is great there, however it is only until 6 PM (despite what the site says). The food is also amazing.
Delicious food, excellent service, great cocktails.
Fun place! One of my favorites in the area!
The food is good. The noise level, like too many restaurants in Chelsea, Is deafening. Diners who want to have a conversation should try to get a table in the speakeasy downstairs.
Love the menu and the food has been consistently good and fresh---love all the vegetable choices along with the fish. Service was attentive and friendly and allowed me to sit at the table before my guest arrived.
4 of us had a leisurely weekday lunch with delicious entrees - lobster Mac & cheese, shrimp tacos, shrimp & grain bowl.
Food and ambiance very good. Only complaint was the noise level which increased as the evening went on. The crispy fish tacos were prepared well with an interesting side of a jicama based salad. Fish & chips also good and plenty of it. A nice experience except if you want quiet conversation
Great food and service. Every dish was refreshing and very tasting. We sat in the booth in the front corner of the restaurant. No acoustics so it was very loud. Everyone was talking loud to here over everyone else.
Seamore's has become my go-to place when I attend a performance at The Joyce- which is right next door. If it were in my neighborhood I would go even more. Their 3-4-5 happy hour is great and the fish tacos are outstanding. Great people too!
The staff at the restaurant was wonderful and the whole dining experience was great. The place felt like it was run by adults, we could all hear each other speak without shouting, and the food was excellent. It was an incredibly civilized meal, which is feeling more and more like a rarity in Manhattan.
Overcharged by $40
Seamore’s was great! We were able to snag 2 tables outside on the sidewalk which could have been perfect if the two tiny round tables pushed together would have been big enough for four.... But we were happy to be outside on a lively summer night.
The service was friendly and attentive. The menu was creative and varied. We all ordered different starters and mains and shared them all. We enjoyed everything!
Had a strawberry margarita cocktail- very refreshing, shared a dozen delicious super fresh and briny oysters with my 2 friends and then savoured a delicious lobster roll with crispy thin fries. We enjoyed our meal by the open window with a balmy light breeze.
Fantastic food and drinks--seasonal menu is super delicious, but due to the seasonality, sometimes the dishes you want aren't available!
Just a great place. The air con was broken so it was kind of hot but nothing to disturb us from a terrific Fish & Chips, good wine and great service. We just want to go back on our next visit to NY.
For the price, our dinner was just meh. For starters, the air conditioner was out - which I can't really hold against them, that is a Con Ed issue. but the berry margaritas tasted a bit chemical, and while my seared tuna was delicious the soba noodles that accompanied them were tough and excessively vinegar-y. Though my husband LOVED the lobster mac and cheese. OK but probably would not return - there are so many better restaurants in NYC for the price
Nice food and location before show to Joyce Theater.
Server was excellent. Most dishes were a B or B plus. Fish and Chips was weak, Tuna Poke was weak.
Meal was fine but nothing to rave about, drinks were good, and I thought the value wa a bit off considering the prices.
Food was good.
Friendly, but a bit disorganized. The food is very good.
The host didn't want to seat me at first because I came before my friend. Even though I had a reservation. And when I insisted, she rolled her eyes at me and reluctantly seated me and I could tell that she was annoyed at me and I saw her talking to our waiter about me. Very uncomfortable. The waiter was nice though and the food was good. I would come back. I guess the host just had a bad day - so I won't be too caught up in it.
Menu has great selection of different style meals - simple meals of high quality - excellent array and pairing of the vegetables with our meals only added to the quality and taste - attentive staff
Great, fresh, clean solid home cooking. As a Chelsea resident, my fellow neighborhood snobs have underrated this very satisfying option. All 6 of us left content, happy and not shaken-down when the bill came. Hope we get a decade out of the place. Go!
Fish was all very fresh and tasty. Service was friendly but not super fast, I would say. I had the fish and chips, delicious, but very filling.
My husband and I were so impressed with the great dining experience we had at Seamore’s Chelsea. The atmosphere is bright, light and cheerful. Our server was very pleasant, kind and helpful. The meal was exceptional —fresh and well-prepared fish and tasty vegetables and salad. We shared the churro ice cream sandwich and it was out of this world! I can’t wait to dine at Seamore’s again.
