Seamore's Brookfield Place
Loved the Scallops with Cauliflower Pasta
Great food and service, didn't really follow my request when there is plenty empty tables to make it happen, but still reliably enjoyable.
The menu seems to have more options than I remember from visits to other locations. Food is good and consistent. Nice large space is great for bigger groups, families, dining with friends.
It was good - food was yummy .
The seafood is good if not inspiring. The general tso's cauliflower and their guacamole are wonderful. a little pricey.
The server was wonderful and accommodating. The pear tart with vanilla ice cream was amazing!
The appetizer and entrees came within 5 minutes of each other
Yes for lunch - definitely not for dinner though - music is way too loud for people who want to talk without yelling
Love this casual go to! Been visiting since they opened.
food not what had hope for, no choice for type of oysters and food generally overdone, meaning cooked too long
Nothing special or memorable.
Ok for lunch overrated for dinner very casual limited menu
cute restaurant. Kid friendly and reasonable. Everything was delicious I strongly recommend the oysters!
The real deal was good but small portions and I don’t like the fact that you cannot pick your side: you can choose between 2 combinations of 2 and 3 sides but you cannot mix them up...why?
Terrible service, very unprofessional waitress who clearly disliked that we didn’t get any alcohol.
I wouldn’t recommend it...this restaurant could be great but it’s not, probably for the terrible personnel
Always love an al fresco lobster roll ❤️❤️❤️
A delicious find. Glad to have this as a new go-to.
A nice, friendly place for lunch in the neighborhood. The food is fresh and tasty and the wait staff is lovely and helpful. A bit noisy but all in all a great choice for the area.
Great food, great service, perfect location for me and business meals.
Excellent fish choices with many chances for vegetables or salad with the fish. Outdoor patio was lovely. Restaurant screwed up and used my card to pay for another table’s food. They fixed it, but that showed they are not that attentive, and this also showed in how hard it was to get drink refills.
We treated a friend to a delightful and delicious seafood lunch and had great seats in the shade at Seamore’s outdoor sidewalk area. The staff was nice and accommodating, however they disappeared for a long time when we were ready to order. (The same thing happened the last time we were there for lunch so add a few extra minutes to your mealtime.) Luckily, the drinks, appetizers and food came out fast, and we were very hungry! We liked the Maryland crab dip with tortilla chips—it was a bit salty, but cheesy and very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and entrees—the seared fish tacos were perfectly cooked and prepared and the burrito bowl came with an impressive skewer of grilled shrimp. As always, it was a fun lunch with good food and friends!
Excellent vegetable sides come with the reel deal. The lemon grass sauce was delicious.
Good lunch place near World Trade Center in Brookfield Place. Nice outdoor patio area, but absolutely no views of waterfront, only buildings. Fresh seafood, very good lobster roll, moderate prices & very informal picnic-style wooden umbrella tables. Very popular & crowded with young, nearby office workers. Good choice if informally dressed for touring memorial & Trade Center area.
A great spot for lunch
Our server barely came over to us, it took forever just to get water. He'd walk by our table several times and ignore us. The music was also extremely loud I could barely hear the conversation going on at my table.
We enjoyed our meal. My only complaint is related to service. Our main courses were brought out before we'd finished our appetizers so we didn't have a chance to finish the first course comfortably before the next course came out. This also made for a very crowded table. A little more attention needs to be paid to the table's timing, not just the kitchen's.
Wonderful evening at Seamore's! My out-of-town guest, his daughter, and I ate outside. The service from Natalie was impeccable; just the right amount of attention. I had grilled haddock with red curry sauce and the sides of mashed cauliflower, broccolini, mushrooms, corn, and cucumber salad. My guest had fish and chips and his daughter had the burrito bowl. We shared an appetizer of General Tso's cauliflower. Everything was prepared to perfection and seasoned just right!
I was not expecting much when I found that the restaurant was part of a mall. Service was excellent from the hostesses to the waitress. Very friendly and down to earth. The big surprise was the quality of the food. I had the fish and chips and must say that they were quite good. The french fries were the thin kind and they were delicious. The batter was not too thick and the tartar sauce was a nice accompaniment. The only complaint would be the cost of drinks. A cocktail costs just about as much as a meal and in usual NYC weirdness, refills of my $5 ice tea were not free. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend the restaurant to my friends who have visited the 9/11 Memorial. It's not too far of a walk and a nice spot to rest before heading off to other sights.
We were a large group with 7 kids and seated outside. The restaurant was not busy and yet service was lacking. The kids were not given the kids menus as they had their own table and all ordered from adult menu which made the bill super expensive. My boys went to use the bathroom inside and came running back scared because a grown man was smoking pot and crying!!! my husband went back to check and sure enough they were correct. they left to use public bathrooms inside brookfield.
We are local in the neighborhood and have eaten here a few times and are familiar with kids menus etc..
This was by far the worst experience.
Salmon came out undercooked, and after we sent it back it came out undercooked again. Staff was super nice and took it off the bill. The rest of the food was delicious, though!
Nice cocktail menu, fresh and summertime flavors. Place is light, modern, airy inside and nice outdoor seating as well. It has a busy, active bar area and is noisy, but in a cheery way ( not a quiet secluded vibe). Desserts looked fab, will try next time. Had the fish tacos, perfect portion size and good flavors. They advertise a great happy hour, price wise, 3pm-$3, 4pm-$4, 5pm-$5 will stop in to see what’s available for those prices and have a dessert!
I had a very bad experience at this restaurant today.
I asked for the Wi-Fi code to the manager as there is no signal on his restaurant and he told me that he sells food not Wi-Fi. He proceeded to shout at us and asked us to leave. This is not appropriate service and should be an embarrassment to this restaurant.
In addition, the food was bad, the service terrible and it’s expensive for what it is.
If you know the name of the general manager I would love to speak to them directly. Thank you
Super location, very convenient and helpful staff. Ambiance and good food
Had a nice meal and the food was good. Ordered the General Tso's cauliflower to start and fish tacos for a main course. But within 10 seconds of the appetizers' arrival, the main course showed up. As a result, nothing was as enjoyable as it should have been and we felt rushed. In fact a meal that I budgeted 1:15 minutes for was over in less than 40. I'd go back for sure but it was definitely a fail on the service.
Way too loud. Hard to have conversation over dinner if you are near front, bar area.
Wonderful setting for a perfect day.
Small portions, but an enjoyable meal nonetheless.
Of course, going to dinner in downtown Manhattan (FIDI) you expect for things to be on the pricey-side. The food was good, though I couldn't quite say it was worth the $$$-- the happy hour specials looked good, so I would probably return here for that, but not really for a casual dinner with friends unless you want the bill to be $300+. The drinks were standard, with the margarita I had being slightly better than the other drinks, but the second one I got was nowhere near the first. While the waiter was attentive when we originally sat down, we were soon frustrated when he was nowhere to be found in a mostly empty restaurant.
Overall, nice ambiance, good food, but a bit pricey and service could have been more attentive for the price point.
Always great food. One of our favorite places to bring people when they visit.
Caught up with friends! I had the same server I did the first time. He’s so awesome and funny! Will be back for happy hour!
