Lobster Mac + Cheese
maine lobster, rigatoni, three cheese, breadcrumbs
Side Kale + Avocado Salad
Friendly staff and great service overall. Fish tacos were delicious. Highly recommend for office events.
I got the lobster mac and cheese and was very disappointed. Pasta was undercooked, hard and *extremely* salty. Lobster was full of shells pieces that I kept having to spit out. The food came out extremely quickly after ordering it so I wonder if it was sitting around for a while leading to the poor taste. I would be disappointed if I got this at a fast casual place, much less a place that's charging $34 for a plate of it. Waitstaff were extremely friendly and attentive which was the only saving grace. Im really hoping this was just a one time thing and I know times have been rough for a lot of restaurants but this was such a bizarre dining experiance.
Great neighborhood brunch location. Kid friendly. Extensive Choice for food selection for all diet types
Excellent food in a good setting. My lunch partner loves the tocos and wants to go back.
Great place for a working lunch. Fast service and delicious food
Great service, nice set up, a vibrant bar scene and friendly waiters and waitress.
The food was great, but with one exception, it was a bit salty. However I do recommend this restaurant to all who's planning to dine here. BTW, great place for a first date.
We were a party of 3 and we all had the clam chowder which was thin, bland and wanting in clams. Thankfully, our lobster mac and cheese (my favorite at this restaurant, which I've been to more than 3 times) was good as ever. My friend didn't like her shrimp taco and ate just one. The churro ice cream sandwich could stand some restraint on the sugar; it was just too sweet, which is too bad because the idea is fantastic. Also, it obviously stood for some time at the pass-through because the ice cream was melted when the dessert was served to us.
Note on the service: while our server was good, she was obviously new and aimed to please by checking in on us too frequently and at some point, it became intrusive. Also, the calamari was just too small of a portion even as an appetizer. It could be served as a bigger portion for $20, and not a scoopful for $12.
Very nice lunch experience with attentive staff and good food.
There was very poor service && only a few tables sat. Also mice were running all around the tables and it was very gross and disturbing. Will not be dining here again.
Indoor seating well spaced. Outdoor looked inviting. Service prompt and friendly. Extremely varied menu . Had tuna friend fish and chips . Limited wine by the glass selections but the cocktail list was extensive. Alitalia noisy.
If I could give ZERO star for food, I would've. There were 4 of us so we ordered several different things for all of us to try. Everything was skimpy, saggy fish and chips, clam chowder was runny filled with potatoes and ZERO clams, there was maybe $3 worth of ingredients on the autumn pear salad,.. everything else was just as bad. WASTE of money and calories. We definitely not going back again.
Everything was excellent during our first visit to Seamore’s which is now extra convenient to get to with the new NYC Ferry St. George route. Will definitely be back!!
Staple restaurant on the Hudson.
Love this place. It is so easy to eat really well and really healthy. The Reel Deal is an amazing value and is filling and delicious and a whole meal at a high 20 dollar price point. Delicious drinks and excellent service. Have eaten at Dumbo and Financial district locations. Its a keeper.
Very pleasant experience. Everyone was helpful and amenable. Food was very good, well presented and flavorful.
A good place to eat indoors or outdoors if you are in
Battery City or financial area.
We wound up being an hour early with two extra people and no problem!
Everyone was very happy with the food, drinks and service.
We would go again.
It was a quiet Monday evening, and my fish & chips were not crispy and the clam chowder was mediocre. I have had better before at Seamore’s…
Servers were wonderful and knowledgeable, but long waits for attention. Need more servers
Food was good.
Servers were courteous. However, they needed reminders and repeated requests for things that should have been provided, like milk for coffee that was cold, spoons, sweeteners etc.
the outdoor space was nice
Overpriced and small portions
Service was fast and food was delish! Had the Lobster Benedict off of their brunch menu... delish!
Food was just ok, but opinions were inconsistent among the table. More straightforward dishes were done better. Service was good but lagged at the end, seemingly due to lack of hands, not effort.
Seamore's was without a doubt the best fish restaurant we've ever been to. The menu was varied, creative and amazing. The service was warm, friendly and of the highest NYC professional caliber. The craft cocktails were deliciously different. Our order, from oysters which were amazingly fresh with the best minonette we ever had to our delicious food, fish of the day Hake and sesame crusted tuna and the accompanying sides made is wide-eyed with every bite. Can't wait to go back for Oyster Happy Hour. Really. That good!
It was a gastronomical delight as always and service was great Going forward, i suggest an extra perk from the management should make special occasions more extraordinary and memorable.
Food was good, place looks nice, service was no more than OK
This was my first visit to Seamore's and I do plan to return. The setting (outdoor patio) was very pleasant, the service was good, the food was tasty and in line, price-wise, for the area.
We ordered the fish and chips (x2) and the kale salad w/tuna - everyone enjoyed their meals. Our only "complaint" is that Seamore's does not serve hot coffee. We ended up ordering tea with our dessert - but no coffee?!?
Had lunch in their adorable outdoor cafe. We were welcomed warmly and seated immediately. The menu (featuring mostly seafood) had a lot of wonderful options and my blackened monkfish sandwich was truly amazing. Choosing one of three sides to go with it was definitely a bonus (usually sides are “extra”). Our server was delightful and extremely efficient. My only complaint is that they don’t have hot coffee on the menu, only cold brew or tea. I would have liked a hot coffee after my meal, but that was not meant to be. But, overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
Food was fine, however the service left a bad impression. I know it’s COVID times, we should be happy there are servers that are just showing up at all. However tonight’s server Danny did nothing but take our order and eventually come around to give us our bill. Not once was there a water refill, asking us how anything was - appetizers or entrees. Grabbed the credit card machine before I barely finished signing.
We frequently eat here. Sometimes it’s hit /miss. Chicken or shrimp (in tacos or nachos) are sometimes over-cooked. If that happens, just ask them to redo it. Drinks are decent. Depends on who’s bar tending.
Nice restaurant, good vibes, good service. I think there was an error with the size of my cocktail. I received a tiny cocktail, which I think was the happy hour glass. Cocktail in NY is not cheap, you should at least get a fair portion.
The food was excellent and the menu had great variety and was reasonably priced We had the strawberry gazpacho, poke bowl, avocado and kale salad, seared tuna and monkfish sandwich. Everyone loved their food! The white sangria was delicious! Service was quick and professional! We ate outside and it was lovely. Inside decor was nautical and cheery. Coming from NH I expected high prices for NYC but thought it was reasonable and a good value. I would definitely go back!!!
Terrific WTC location for outdoor lunching. Food was good, service was attentive and we didn't feel rushed. Definately visiting again
………….…Highly recommended! ………………….…………………….……………..
Brought five of my clients to your downtown location. We enjoyed a delicious, lovely lunch. Food and service were great. I will definitely be back.
Quick, courteous service. Food was very good.
Four of us went to Seamore’s for lunch. The Menu provides a nice variety is appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Two had seafood sandwiches, one had fish and chips and a Reel Deal entree with Mahi mahi. Everyone’s meal was delicious and fresh.
Tried this place hoping to make anniversary dinner memorable…unfortunately the place didn’t do much to help to make it a reality. But in fairness, food was good and place is clean.
The service was lackluster at best. We had to flag down a server to help us and then the server who was apparently meant to help us stood there and stared. She didn't seem to know the menu well. I'll go to a different restaurant the next time I'm in that area.
Good food, fun servers, and they know how to do RARE fish!
