We wound up being an hour early with two extra people and no problem!
Everyone was very happy with the food, drinks and service.
We would go again.
It was a quiet Monday evening, and my fish & chips were not crispy and the clam chowder was mediocre. I have had better before at Seamore’s…
Servers were wonderful and knowledgeable, but long waits for attention. Need more servers
Food was good.
Servers were courteous. However, they needed reminders and repeated requests for things that should have been provided, like milk for coffee that was cold, spoons, sweeteners etc.
the outdoor space was nice
Overpriced and small portions
Service was fast and food was delish! Had the Lobster Benedict off of their brunch menu... delish!
Food was just ok, but opinions were inconsistent among the table. More straightforward dishes were done better. Service was good but lagged at the end, seemingly due to lack of hands, not effort.
Seamore's was without a doubt the best fish restaurant we've ever been to. The menu was varied, creative and amazing. The service was warm, friendly and of the highest NYC professional caliber. The craft cocktails were deliciously different. Our order, from oysters which were amazingly fresh with the best minonette we ever had to our delicious food, fish of the day Hake and sesame crusted tuna and the accompanying sides made is wide-eyed with every bite. Can't wait to go back for Oyster Happy Hour. Really. That good!
It was a gastronomical delight as always and service was great Going forward, i suggest an extra perk from the management should make special occasions more extraordinary and memorable.
Food was good, place looks nice, service was no more than OK
This was my first visit to Seamore's and I do plan to return. The setting (outdoor patio) was very pleasant, the service was good, the food was tasty and in line, price-wise, for the area.
We ordered the fish and chips (x2) and the kale salad w/tuna - everyone enjoyed their meals. Our only "complaint" is that Seamore's does not serve hot coffee. We ended up ordering tea with our dessert - but no coffee?!?
Had lunch in their adorable outdoor cafe. We were welcomed warmly and seated immediately. The menu (featuring mostly seafood) had a lot of wonderful options and my blackened monkfish sandwich was truly amazing. Choosing one of three sides to go with it was definitely a bonus (usually sides are “extra”). Our server was delightful and extremely efficient. My only complaint is that they don’t have hot coffee on the menu, only cold brew or tea. I would have liked a hot coffee after my meal, but that was not meant to be. But, overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
Food was fine, however the service left a bad impression. I know it’s COVID times, we should be happy there are servers that are just showing up at all. However tonight’s server Danny did nothing but take our order and eventually come around to give us our bill. Not once was there a water refill, asking us how anything was - appetizers or entrees. Grabbed the credit card machine before I barely finished signing.
We frequently eat here. Sometimes it’s hit /miss. Chicken or shrimp (in tacos or nachos) are sometimes over-cooked. If that happens, just ask them to redo it. Drinks are decent. Depends on who’s bar tending.
Nice restaurant, good vibes, good service. I think there was an error with the size of my cocktail. I received a tiny cocktail, which I think was the happy hour glass. Cocktail in NY is not cheap, you should at least get a fair portion.
The food was excellent and the menu had great variety and was reasonably priced We had the strawberry gazpacho, poke bowl, avocado and kale salad, seared tuna and monkfish sandwich. Everyone loved their food! The white sangria was delicious! Service was quick and professional! We ate outside and it was lovely. Inside decor was nautical and cheery. Coming from NH I expected high prices for NYC but thought it was reasonable and a good value. I would definitely go back!!!
Terrific WTC location for outdoor lunching. Food was good, service was attentive and we didn't feel rushed. Definately visiting again
………….…Highly recommended! ………………….…………………….……………..
Brought five of my clients to your downtown location. We enjoyed a delicious, lovely lunch. Food and service were great. I will definitely be back.
Quick, courteous service. Food was very good.
Four of us went to Seamore’s for lunch. The Menu provides a nice variety is appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Two had seafood sandwiches, one had fish and chips and a Reel Deal entree with Mahi mahi. Everyone’s meal was delicious and fresh.
Tried this place hoping to make anniversary dinner memorable…unfortunately the place didn’t do much to help to make it a reality. But in fairness, food was good and place is clean.
The service was lackluster at best. We had to flag down a server to help us and then the server who was apparently meant to help us stood there and stared. She didn't seem to know the menu well. I'll go to a different restaurant the next time I'm in that area.
Good food, fun servers, and they know how to do RARE fish!
Seating outdoors was very comfortable despite the extreme heat. We had a lovely waitress/hostess (pregnant but so put together) she really made it special. Very sweet and nicely attentive. My shrimp tacos and my friends tomato and watermelon salads were fabulous. Just what we needed as we had dinner plans as well. If we have the occasion to be in tge arra we would definitely come back
Early dinner to make a show and we sat outside, so restaurant was quiet. Food arrived quickly, but took a long time for plates to be cleared and dessert offered. Otherwise was excellent.
I went for dinner while they were running their Happy Hour pricing on cocktails. If you're getting the Sangria, I wouldn't bother with the pitcher. The per glass price is $8 and the pitcher is $30 - one would think you would get about 4 glasses out of the pitcher, but you do NOT - it's closer to 2.5. That being said, our waitress realized this and halfway refilled the pitcher to compensate, so customer service was great, in that aspect. The appetizers and entrees were great. We had the Oysters (also on the Happy Hour special) and the Crispy Squid (Calamari), followed by the Reel Deal (Scallops) and the Lobster Mac & Cheese and a side of the Ginger Garlic Spinach - YUMMY & AMAZING! Last and least were the desserts - they only offer two, so we had one of each. I only had mine which was the Apple Pie with Ice Cream, but they didn't heat up the pie, which I think on the menu it said that the pie was warm, so I was a bit disappointed and ended up leaving most on the plate. Over all the meal was good - I am never disappointed by the apps, and I was impressed with the entrees. They just need to work out the drink portions and zhuzhing up the desserts.
Cute place, perfect location, and delicious food. I would go again and I would reccomend this restaurant.
Had a lovely lunch after the Van Gough experience
I'll start by saying we will not be returning. Our waitress was excellent and the food came in a timely manner, but the restaurant would not make any accommodations, which is why I gave service a low rating. For example, they have fish tacos and shrimp tacos on the menu but when we asked if we could have two of one and one of the other on our three taco plate, she said no. I've never been to a restaurant that wouldn't do this. The waitress agreed but said the kitchen wouldn't do it and that others had made that request. The food was poor to good. The shrimp nachos had a good start but were covered in some unappetizing processed cheese food. The lobster rolls were very good but were served on a large piece of unnecessary lettuce that made it hard to eat and didn't allow the pleasure of lobster juices sinking into the bun. Fries arrived lukewarm. The fish tacos were more breading than fish and very bland. We all got the feeling that the food was prepared in advance or so limited in variation that there was no attempt to accommodate requests. We also didn't think the table was very sanitary judging by how we saw vacated tables cleaned. We ate outside on a beautiful evening so enjoyed the ambiance but had a very disappointing meal.
Great experience overall, good variety on menu, nice atmosphere, great service
Amazing service. Delicious food Great atmosphere
Awesome customer service. Would definitely be back soon
This is a great place for young people. I personally found it to be extremely noisy. The food and drinks were good and the service was excellent and quick.
Staff was great....meal was tasty...but there was a kitchen issue and meals came out separately had to wait awhile for others meal...but all was taken care of with the great staff!
Our server was very attentive and food delivery very efficient. We had a very pleasant outdoor dining experience.
My tacos were forgotten but couldn’t grab our waiter until the others at the table finished. Really didn’t receive any sort of apology and wasn’t comped at all after having to take it to go. Really disappointed since I love the Seamore’s Chelsea so much.
Delicious seafood. The Kale & Avacado salad is superb. The Real Deal Shrimp was amazing. Plus, they have outdoor dining!
The host was gracious, outside table was ready when we arrived. Our server Daniel was excellent. We went for oysters, and a glass of wine and ended up staying for dinner! He welcomed us and suggested several tasty treats from the menu. Glad we took his recommendation for the steelhead poke. Yum. Daniel always seemed to show up at the right time… just as we finished our first glass of wine! He also followed his lead and tried the red curry mussels. Fantastic. Seamore’s was perfect, and I look forward to returning, when Daniel is scheduled. Thank you!!
