SeaBlue Restaurant & Wine Bar Ratings and Reviews
My boyfriend and I went to SeaBlue for a late Valentine's dinner. The service was excellent and the food was phenomenal! It's definitely pricey, but given the quality of the food, it was worth it. Though I can't afford to eat here on a regular basis, I would absolutely go back for another special occasion or even just for drinks at the bar. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and I will certainly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
A wonderful venue for a delightful Valentine’s Day dinner. A warm welcome from Tracy, excellent food choices. Caesar and arugula salad to start, followed by pheasant breast served with black truffle risotto and pheasant sausage. Wild boar sausage and tagliatelle. Both dishes were amazingly flavorful and well presented. Our waiter was great, attentive but not intrusive. There is a fantastic wine menu to pair with your selections. There are several good restaurants in NMB/MB but this one stands way above those. Highly recommend you try it. A little pricey but that is reflected in the quality of food served fresh and hot.
Visiting while on vacation in Surfside Beach, I found this on opentable on a whim and decided to take a chance. Good thing I did! The ambiance is great, the service was amazing and the food was by far the best rack of lamb (Australian lamb) I've ever tasted in my life! My fiancé and I frequent alot of great food places and this definitely knocked it out the park on freshness, quality and flavor. The owner is also the chef, you can taste how much he loves to cook in the first bite. We absolutely loved everything about the restaurant so paying $100+ for the meal was worthwhile. Plus they made it extra special to celebrate Valentine's Day & anniversary all in one.
Picked Seablue Restaurant Restaurant and wine bar to celebrate early Valentines dinner! Food and service was excellent. Had the tasting menu with wine pairing. 6 course menu . Had oysters, then scallops, then grouper, cheese dish followed by beef and chocolate chip cookie served with vanilla ice cream in a skillet. Service was excellent. Waiter Michael was excellent. Owners of restaurant visited our table great. Very friendly. Will definitely visit again. Decor was charming. Little pricey but food and wine were excellent . Highly recommend for special occasions!
The tasting menu and wine pairings were outstanding. We did not know what the next course would be until served. The element of surprise was terrific. Each course from soup to desert was a culinary delight. Service was superb along with description of the food, its preparation and wine. A night to remember!
Very attentive service. Excellent presentation. Delicious food. Wide selection of good wines, beer, whisky and specialty cocktails. Nice, quiet atmosphere.
Prices, however, are high and menu selections are a la carte. Not a problem if you are on expense account or for a special occasion if you are not on a tight budget.
The beet salad very nice and romaine salad generous portion and tasty. Diver scallops and seafood medley both served with gourmet style risotto excellent.
The chocolate chip cookie baked in a skillet served with ice cream scrumptious.
Would not recommend for children.
The food was fantastic and the service was even better ! It is located in a strip mall but the restaurant is very upscale, as is the menu. The quality of the food and presentation is outstanding ! They have a full nice bar and one of the best wine selections that I have seen in the area. We are somewhat new to the area and have been to this restaurant twice in the past week....this is our new most favorite restaurant ! I highly recommend it...
Excellent food and service. Our only problem was asking for a table away from the draft was met with a quick no even tho better tables were available throughout our meal. Disappointing. Other than that, they were very helpful and accommodating. Pricey but well worth it!
Our first meal here, and we highly recommend this restaurant for the food. Hostess, waiter and owner/chef very attentive and knowledgeable. Excellent menu & wine list. Food prepared to accommodate my wife's many food allergies and she had no reactions following the meal. . Food excellently prepared and presented. We will be back.
Outstanding! Top 3 seafood restaurants in the nation and I've eaten at a bunch... top notch bourbon list also. Long drive for us but we will visit this place again, don't be fooled by the location in a strip mall, once you walk in the door it is a class 5 restaurant!
A hidden gem with impeccable service, superb cocktails & impressive food. We were met at the door by the owners who took our coats & visited briefly before showing us to our table. The waiter appeared promptly, explaining their menu & taking our orders for cocktails. Next came hot bread & dipping oil. The original art on the walls along with the quiet ambiance was appreciated for a special night.
We only get to the Myrtle Beach area a few times each year and SeaBlue has become our go-to restaurant when we are on the north end. We both had the grouper special and they were outstanding. The ham and cheese appetizer was also wonderful. We will be back when we are back in the area.
