One of our favorite restaurants when we come tp Myrtle beach. Food is always delicious. The short ribs were cooked to perfection. Our server, Lori, was excellent! We enjoyed our evening.
This was our third time eating at SeaBlue Restaurant and Wine bar..We went on Thanksgiving night. My husband ordered the grouper and I tried the short ribs. Both were delicious. For dessert I had the chocolate cheesecake with Oreo cookie crust and pecans while my husband got the bread pudding with cranberries and ice cream. Huge portions that I ate the rest of my cheesecake the next night. Service was great. Can’t remember her name but waitress was originally from New York. Very friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. Highly recommend!
The owner is a very nice lady and is extremely attentive. All the servers are top notch and the food is amazing. The have sports on the tv at the bar and the music selection was perfect. This place is a must in Myrtle Beach.
Service was exceptional. Pricing was a bit over the top. Three adults 2 ordered filets and other ordered the special. One bottle of wine and 2 desserts. Steaks are alacarte so one side each and the bill was $320.
There was nothing that jumped out at me that commanded that price.
Great restaurant. Great food. Our server was very kind and catered to us well.
Our first choice for a great meal is always Sea Blue when we visit myrtle Beach.
They never disappoint.
Great service and attention to detail. Came through when wine ordered was not in stock. Food excellent. Little too noisy and crowded but it is the holiday season. Will definitely return.
Not the first time and definitely not the last time. Very unique restaurant great food high quality cocktails and desserts. Pricey but definitely worth it. Shanon our waiter was amazing.
Fantastic food, great service and knowledgeable staff, 5 stars all around!
This is the nicest fine dining we've found in the MB/NMB area and it really should have a Michelin rating as it certainly rivals some of the Michelin restaurants we've enjoyed in big cities, just at a more affordable small city price.
We have been to Seablue a few times and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious and the service is spot on.
While a little dicey in price quality of meal was outstanding. Partner had filet and I had catch of the day. Both were treats to the eye and palate. Laurie(sp?) really helpful and very pleasant.
We shared the beet and burrata salad, bronzed grouper and rack of lamb were all fantastic. Lori was a very knowledgable and helpful server.
Great food and drinks and atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
Great "Special Occasion" restaurant. Service and food was wonderful. A little pricey, but for a birthday or anniversary, definitely worth going.
It was my 3rd time eating here, & just like the previous 2 times, everything was delicious. Will definitely be going back again!
We enjoyed everything. The cuisine, service, and attention to detail are top notch. This is a destination not to be missed. A must go!
Don't understand the extreme pricing on everything... for the 2 of us, which included 4 moderately priced drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 entrées, 1 side and 1 desert. My Delmonico steak was tasty. My wife's seafood dish was disappointing only because the scallops were too salty. We did inform our server to forward this information to the Chefs. We are not looking for any type of compensation, just thought to share our dining experience with you.
I buy quality food products, which are expensive. Wholesale costs have increased 35-100% the past 6 months. Labor has increased 35%. Dishwashers $16-$17/hr. Qualified chef's above $20/hr. U8 Scallops are almost $6 each. I had 2 managers on the floor, neither knew anything about the scallops. Your server is new to serving, SeaBlue is her first serving job. Our scallops are fresh daily and one of our guest favorites. $236 was your bill, the rest is tax & tip. $100 was product cost, not much profit
The food is fantastic! We had foie gras and gourmet ham & cheese for appetizers, then seafood risotto and the grouper special for main courses. The appetizers were very tasty and wonderful. The seafood risotto was mainly seafood with lobster risotto. YUM! The grouper was steak size and quite tasty! The desserts were also fantastic. The wine list is extensive. When we were indecisive on wine, our server recommended a new wine, not yet on the list, and it was perfect! They gave us a private table as we were celebrating our anniversary. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
This was our 2nd visit to this restaurant, & it was just as delicious as the first time. We recommended it to friends, who visited 2 weeks ago, & they loved it also. Will definitely be back again.
We were earlier than most. The staff was busy preparing for the night. Staff promptly seated us and our server was over immediately. We had pre-diiner drinks, appetizers, seafood main courses and amazing and interesting desserts. Everything was of exceptional quality and taste. Our server was friendly and patient. We loved the full experience and hope to dine there again before we leave Myrtle Beach.
Had a wonderful dinner dining at the bar. The cocktails were the best that I have had prepared in this area. They even have unique seasonal cocktail offerings too. The dining experience is one that you will talk about for days on end. The food is perfectly prepared and amazingly fresh. The chefs obviously take pride in their dishes that they prepare. They also have an in house pastry chef so make sure you save room for one of her speciality desserts. If you enjoy quality fresh food I highly recommend you dine here. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing evening out! I can’t wait to dine again!
Great service but very overpriced.
Price of quality ingredients has doubled over the past 6 months. We have used the same level of ingredients since 2008. We have not compromised food quality, service, or any other aspect. From the drizzle of 12yr Tondo Balsamic, to the USDA Prime 45 Day Dry Aged Beef trimmed to specs. People don’t notice attention to detail nor quality from establishment to establishment. The subtotal of your bill reflects a 40-45% raw product cost. Everything is great until i got the check. SMH!
Amazing atmosphere and the food was amazing!!!! Highly recommend!!
Nice restaurant- good menu and selection but very expensive. Portions are small which is fine but the value is not there. A few bucks less for the drinks, apps and all the entrees and it would still be expensive but justified with current food prices. Really good service and cute place.
Our offerings are severely underpriced, we are running a crazy food/product cost percentage in 2021. You could not hire a chef and duplicate this menu at home for less money than what we offer. Google the ingredients and you will see….These are not grocery store, Publix, or Fresh Market ingredients. These are high end restaurant ingredients that are reserved for the Top 100 or so restaurants in the US. Cheers.
This is pretty next-level for Myrtle Beach and the service, drinks, and food were great. I’m happy to shell out for great culinary experiences but I thought it was a bit expensive. I’ve eaten at Michelin restaurants for less.
It’s not rocket science… It’s 2021. 1/3…1/3…1/3…Excluding USDA Prime Beef the menu price reflects 1/3 for product, 1/3 for labor, and 1/3 for overhead…Hopefully we have a couple dollars left over for us at the end of the night. This is not a 503c non-profit. Divide the menu price by 3 and that is the product cost in the back door without labor and overhead. FYI the USDA Prime steaks are only 2 times…Please feel free to email me at email@example.com for food invoices. Would be glad to share.
Great service and the food was amazing
Sea Blue is always a favorite for us and we never miss an opportunity to visit when we come to the beach. Great food, service, everything!
Service and food was amazing!
Always good food and wine were superb
As always, my husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Sea Blue...totally top shelf - and a special shout out to Casey our server.
Love SeaBlue! I don't get to go often but whenever I get a chance it's always my first choice. This evening we celebrated a birthday. We sat in the love booth. Our server Lori was amazing. She was attentive but not overbearing. We had the Porcini Angoloti, duck, and the Tiramisu style warm cookie sundae. All fabulous! You can tell the kitchen takes pride in the dishes they put out. Thank you SeaBlue for another wonderful dining experience!
The food was simply amazing and the service was very efficient and knowledgeable.
Excellent service and absolutely fantastic food! The escargot was fantastic, the broiled oysters were superb, the wedge salad was excellent, the grouper was excellent and the seafood risotto was sooo good. Everything was over the top, as was the service. Our server, Casey, was very attentive. Highly recommend!
Great food and service as always. My wife and I love coming here.
Highly recommend! Amazing atmosphere! Staff is awesome! And the food is spectacular!!!!!
Food was fantastic!
Service was superb!
Thank you Jennifer and Ken and Tracy!
Perfect restaurant to celebrate special occasions.
First of all, Shannon is an extraordinary server. She is committed to her guests having a wonderful dining experience. The heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad, which was a special, was absolutely delicious. For my main course, I ordered the Dover sole, which was exceptional. I am not a bread pudding fan, but the chocolate bread pudding with vanilla ice cream (and strawberries) was the only chocolate item on the dessert menu that night, so I ordered it. It was good, but I am sure that those people who like bread pudding would have enjoyed it more. I will also mention that the dipping oil for the bread had excellent flavor.
Outstanding experience from start to finish! My husband had the duck and I had the short rib, recently added to the menu. These dishes, combined with fabulous appetizers, pinot noir (Laetitia), and shared dessert (bread pudding), made for a memorable meal.
We visit Myrtle Beach twice a year, and from here on in, SeaBlue will be at the top if our must-go-to list. Our compliments to the owners, our waiter Shaun, and the entire staff.
