Always good food and wine were superb
As always, my husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Sea Blue...totally top shelf - and a special shout out to Casey our server.
Love SeaBlue! I don't get to go often but whenever I get a chance it's always my first choice. This evening we celebrated a birthday. We sat in the love booth. Our server Lori was amazing. She was attentive but not overbearing. We had the Porcini Angoloti, duck, and the Tiramisu style warm cookie sundae. All fabulous! You can tell the kitchen takes pride in the dishes they put out. Thank you SeaBlue for another wonderful dining experience!
The food was simply amazing and the service was very efficient and knowledgeable.
Excellent service and absolutely fantastic food! The escargot was fantastic, the broiled oysters were superb, the wedge salad was excellent, the grouper was excellent and the seafood risotto was sooo good. Everything was over the top, as was the service. Our server, Casey, was very attentive. Highly recommend!
Great food and service as always. My wife and I love coming here.
Highly recommend! Amazing atmosphere! Staff is awesome! And the food is spectacular!!!!!
Food was fantastic!
Service was superb!
Thank you Jennifer and Ken and Tracy!
Perfect restaurant to celebrate special occasions.
First of all, Shannon is an extraordinary server. She is committed to her guests having a wonderful dining experience. The heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad, which was a special, was absolutely delicious. For my main course, I ordered the Dover sole, which was exceptional. I am not a bread pudding fan, but the chocolate bread pudding with vanilla ice cream (and strawberries) was the only chocolate item on the dessert menu that night, so I ordered it. It was good, but I am sure that those people who like bread pudding would have enjoyed it more. I will also mention that the dipping oil for the bread had excellent flavor.
Outstanding experience from start to finish! My husband had the duck and I had the short rib, recently added to the menu. These dishes, combined with fabulous appetizers, pinot noir (Laetitia), and shared dessert (bread pudding), made for a memorable meal.
We visit Myrtle Beach twice a year, and from here on in, SeaBlue will be at the top if our must-go-to list. Our compliments to the owners, our waiter Shaun, and the entire staff.
Chose outdoor seating , ended up being very nice ,view of parking lot was pleasantly obscured with some beautiful plants and small trees . Service and Quality of food was absolutely outstanding ! Lori our server was so pleasant ! Highly recommend this upscale restaurant for some of the most delicious entree’s and desserts!
Lori our server made our Anniversary meal perfect!
This was our forth visit to SeaBlue and it was fantastic as always. The food, service, wine are all great. For this visit we had the Beefsteak tomato and mozzarella salad and the center cut filet. The salad was amazing, have no idea where they get the tomatoes but probably the best ever. The filet was cooked perfectly with a crust of spices, meat was so tender with great flavor. No need to comment on the wine list, its extensive and your problem will be "what to select". If you haven't been to SeaBlue you must give it a try, you will be happy you did.
Lori was awesome! Great food! Amazing vibe!
Had the most amazing Anniversary dinner. Food was fantastic (a bit pricey), but the service was spectacular!!! Shawn was possibly the most personable server we've ever had the privilege to meet. He was also extremely knowledgeable of the menu and the expansive wine list. This may be our new "go to" for special occasions.
We’re from out of town and were celebrating our anniversary. We were looking for a fine dining experience in the area and could not have been more pleased in choosing SeaBlue. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented. You can tell that the chef holds high standards about using the finest ingredients. Wine pairing recommendations were very nice. Our waiter knew the menu well and you could tell he loved the food there too. This restaurant is pricey, as would be expected from such a fine dining establishment, excellent for special occasions!
Food was expertly prepared and delicious. Disappointed they were out of menu items so early in the evening.
Excellent meal. Only slight disappointment was several wines by the bottle were out. We found a good value and good bottle but would have like to have more up to date list
SeaBlue is absolutely the best restaurant in the Myrtle Beach area and can compare itself to any of the best restaurants in Manhattan. The food is delectable and prepared with such imagination and care. Highly recommend the seafood risotto, Australian lamb chops and the bone-in filet mignon. Extensive wine list and creative cocktails as well. The area was starved for a restaurant of this quality and SeaBlue more than fills the void. Highly, highly recommend.
This past week we drove to Myrtle Beach for our anniversary and dined at Sea Blue on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. The moment we walked in, we found this tastefully decorated, inviting restaurant to be exactly what we were looking for. The star of the show was Chef Kenneth. Having had a late lunch we went straight to the entrees. My husband had the Australian Rack of Lamb which he said was one of the best he has ever had. I had the perfectly prepared Duck Breast. Jennifer prepared an amazing Manhattan for me. Wine with dinner was another winner. The pastry chef prepared a hot lava cake with caramel gelato which was heavenly. I would be remiss if I did not mention the impeccable service - thank you Shannon. I will certainly be visiting this restaurant in the future. Being a food snob, we plan our trips around great restaurants. There are 2 other restaurants in the area we would like to try based on the recommendation of other foodies. They are Bistro 90 (Longs, SC) and the Aspen Grille at 5101 N. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. At this point in time it is so important to support our locally owned fine dining establishments. For many of us who eat to live, it is our key form of entertainment. Please give these restaurants a try.
We were looking for an upscale restaurant for our anniversary dinner.
It was evident as soon as we walked in how the energy/vibe created by the staff and their attentiveness to details made us feel like family, If I lived in Myrtle Beach this would be a must go for fine dining. We could write about the drinks, appetizers and large plates but I don't think I could do them justice. In the end, if you are looking for a fabulous dining experience, make a reservation you won't regret it.
Another fantastic meal at SeaBlue restaurant ! The service was excellent, the staff is always welcoming and the food is outstanding ! Don’t let the restaurant’s strip mall location fool you, SeaBlue serves some very elegantly prepared meals. They also have an extensive wine collection. This is definitely the place to go in the area, if you are looking for a beautifully prepared meal in a relaxed location.
Expensive and we’ll worth it. Fantastic food and even better service. A++++ In every way.
Best place at the beach!! Service is great and food is by far the best I have ever had!!
Excellent ambience excellent service excellent food the price point was too high
Restaurant biz is evolving right before our eyes. The labor market is tight and demand is high. Luxury ingredient demand is high and prices are through the roof for ingredients. Dishwashers are $17/hour, so trained chef's are in the mid to high twenties, and managers require more. Almost all proteins we serve are $40 plus per pound, with some reaching $60 per pound, so for an 8oz portion we are $20 plus plate cost for most entrees. Simple economics! SeaBlue is a bargain in relation to markup.
We had a lovely dinner and excellent, attentive service. The seafood risotto was scrumtious - added a lobster tail to it which made it pricy but since we split our dinner, it was worth it.
Food great ( medium duck came out medium rare at best) but forgiven
Biggest problem: Waaaay over priced..
The prices of all products, especially our imported products from Europe are very expensive. Our labor rates for "The living wage" is also at an all time high. If you want great employees, you have to pay! If you want boutique Magret de Canard Duck Breast, you have to pay! Its more expensive than the Domestic White Peking. Are we expensive, YES! Are we OVERPRICED, NO! Our business bank statements every month do not lie! If you want SYSCO or US Foods to Table, That's at the chain down the road.
Food was delicious. Service outstanding. No waiting for table. Very smooth operation.
Sea blue is always exceptionally good and last night was no exception. Really enjoyed the short rib appetizer and the Tomahawk and the desserts made in house are the best
Can’t wait till the next visit. Thank you Sea Blue 😊
We had a lovely dinner at Sea Blue. The food was delicious and our server Shannon was very knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and definitely steered us in the right direction. The seafood risotto is not to be missed. Delicious.
Food was great. Service was for the most part great with exception of keeping up with wine pouring. Only thing I’d change with this place and is totally subjective, but the music did not fit the design / vibe of the restaurant. Need a light chill house style music in there. Clientele is naturally older, but I run casinos with similar clientele and they really do like to feel a younger vibe without feeling out of place. That’s the opportunity this place has to improve.
This is a great place for seafood and steaks. They have a variety of specialty drinks and wine. The presentation of the food is like a work of art and the taste will satiate anyone’s palate. I love visiting this restaurant when I come to Myrtle Beach.
We had a wonderful time. The service was outstanding.
Our server Stephanie made for a beautiful dining experience! She is beyond knowledgeable, professional and attentive. She has finesse and is an asset to SeaBlue. Only 3 stars for food because my very expensive Dover Sole was not hot and a bit overcooked. A steak was overcooked as we. Problems were corrected immediately by Stephanie and management comped desserts. Class act all the way
My waitress Shannon was absolutely amazing. Can’t say enough good about my dining experience. Have been wanting to try them out for a while but my crazy schedule finally permitted me to! Can’t wait to go back!
Food was extraordinary, waits staff very attentive
Prices quite high especially beef
One of the best meals in a long time. Highly recommend
We went for seafood, and they were sold out of oysters and scallops by the time we placed our order at 6:40 PM.
Server at next table told guests “we run out of food every night on purpose”
The special of the evening was an oyster dish. At a minimum they should have stopped telling guests about the special when the supply began running low.
After we were seated, we had still not been seen by a server after 10 minutes, and I had to go to the hostess stands for intervention. They made a decent recovery from that, with the first glass of wine complements of the house. After that service was outstanding, and this from a server who was in her first night on the floor after three weeks of training.
Finally, after leaving this review, the restaurant left a vulgar unprofessional response, subsequently deleted.
Second edit: all it would have taken for me to revise this from a 3 to a 4 would have been a genuine professional apology from owner. But she has continued to send private messages with vulgar name calling.
Great place. Quite and nice atmosphere, great service.
