SeaBlue Restaurant & Wine Bar
As owners, Kenneth Norcutt and Tracy Smith are involved in every aspect of the restaurant. Our travels, extensive background, and passion for food and wine enable us to share our experiences with you in our small community of North Myrtle Beach, SC. We are a small family dedicated to an intimate culinary adventure, a playground for lovers of wine and fine cuisine.
We invite you to Drink, Dine & Discover.
Awesome! Valentines Day was amazing!
Food was excellent but way over priced as well as their wines. Would like to return but meal was over $200 which included 3 glasses of wine and shared desert. My suggestion is to stick with prix fixe menu and no drinks.
It was my birthday and where else would I want to go? My husband found Sea Blue on yelp while we were here house hunting. We had a wonderful meal and knew that we would be back. Little did we know it would be so soon. I had dinner at Sea Blue 2 more times that week. We have had dinner at Sea Blue at least 10 times in the last 2 months.
Outstanding food and service. Our favorite restaurant in the area.
Great service and the food selection was wonderful!!
Food delicious, always cooked right and perfect portions! My favorite nice restaurant at the beach!
Delicious meal, amazing service, wonderful experience! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys great food and phenomenal wine with the expert service to guide you.
We dined at the bar and had an amazing experience. I can not wait to come back! Highly recommend!
We arrived around 7 and the place was buzzing. We were told there might be a 20-30 min wait for a table. We checked the bar, but no space, then, magically the hostess found us a seat in the cozy seating area. We had wonderful drinks and ordered. Soon a table opened up and our food came.
The drink and food menu is really different and so tasty! The decor and ambience are upscale and vibrant. We will definitely be back the next time we’re down there.
We enjoyed an amazing meal as always at our favorite restaurant in the area. Definitely recommend!
Wonderful dining; excellent service one comment was cd have done without “wilted” versus “regular Caesar Salad Lettuce” as it was a bit too wilted overall great dining experience in every way! Will be back, The Scheinblum’s
We were given no advance warning that there was a $59.00 minimum per person charge on the night we were there. That was unacceptable and soured our experience considerably. Three of us split one entree, one appetizer, and each had a drink. Our bill with tip was $180.00. The food was good but not worth $180.00.
To clarify (after receiving a reply from the restaurant): After we placed our initial order, our waiter returned to our table, bringing us a menu and saying that he would leave the menu with us because there would be a $59 charge per person and we would be charged that amount whether we ordered that much food or not. We understood that to mean that there was a $59 minimum per person. We told him that we were never told that and he asked if someone called to confirm our reservation. I said we got a voice mail about confirming, but no warning about a minimum. He went to confer with someone and ultimately returned, saying that, with our order, we were getting fairly close to the amount, so if we were getting more drinks, we would reach the $59 per person. We decided to just meet the requirements described by the waiter and let it go.
Mr. Bruce Mack, We offered an ala carte menu with no minimum charge! The guests enjoyed 4 Drinks, a split of Champagne, 2 luxury seafood small plates, and a luxury Grouper & Colossal Crab Entree. $141 Total excluding tax and 15% tip. This is New Years Eve and most restaurant in the area of this caliber were running a $100 plus set menu. I have been running this exact menu for the past 5 years. If you are concerned about the price you should have inquired prior. Thanks for the 2 star review!
Ken and Tracey have established an incredible dining experience that has never, ever failed to disappoint in menu quality, presentation of offerings, or just flat-out exceptional service. We are from out of town and among the many attractions to draw us back to the area, dining at Sea Blue is high on the list. We consider it the "bar" in a high-value/quality dinning experience whether at home or down here in North Myrtle Beach. We feel spoiled to consistently have the opportunity to enjoy an evening where the only item in question is what new offerings Sea Blue has that evening. Everything else is of the highest quality across the board. Thank you both.
The food is french inspired, farm to table, and executed perfectly. The balance of flavors in their dishes is remarkable. They pay attention to every single detail right down to the bread and olive oil they serve. This is a great restaurant to come for a special occasion like an anniversary or birthday. You will not be disappointed. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will return.
Wonderful escargot! Perfectly prepared grouper! Excellent service.
The best dining experience of the Grand Strand!
My husband and I started with the housemade French onion soup which was delicious. I had the chicken dish that was cooked to perfection, my husband had the Fresh Catch which was Grouper with a Micro Herb beurre blanc that was buttery and delicious. We also took home and amazing dessert because we were too full to eat it there. A perfect start to a Christmas vacation!
We were celebrating my brother’s birthday and he said this was his favorite restaurant. Three of us had the grouper special and it was outstanding. Perfectly cooked and presented. Our 4th has the “Fruits of the Sea” special which she declared “scrumptious.” We shared a special raspberry cake desert which was excellent. The only reason I didn’t rate it a “5,” was the expense. The meals and service, although definitely of high quality, are priced somewhat above the competition and the portions are not overly generous. My wife and I almost always split a meal because we are not big eaters. But we could not have split a meal here. But the quality of the food and the service are well above average and won’t disappoint.
Why is SeaBlue more expensive than other area restaurants? For starters , we use a superior level of ingredients that are only found in the Top 50 Restaurants in the Country. We source mostly local & use local companies for our food and wares products. (No Sysco or US Foods Truck Here) We pay our employees a premium living wage with benefits rarely offered in SC restaurants. So, the 15-20% is invested back to the guest experience in quality of our cuisine and service. Always Chef Driven. Cheers
This restaurant is incredible! This is fine dining with attentive service, beautiful atmosphere, and phenomenal food! If you are looking for a new fine dining experience or a special occasion meal then restaurant makes this unforgettable. They have been top notch for years, definite must!
Steak was amazing....over priced Ed for t bone but amazing!
My husband and I celebrated Thanksgiving at one of our favorite restaurants, SeaBlue. The experience was exceptional from beginning to end. Joe had the lobster risotto and I had the crab cake small plate with grilled asparagus. Absolutely yummy!!! Thanks, Ken & Tracy
As always, SeaBlue was exceptional! We tried new entrees and were very happy with our choices. Service was also very personable and very concerned that we were pleased with everything. A very stylish place, even if it is in a strip mall!
This is the fourth time that we have had dinner at SeaBlue and it continues to be an excellent place for a great meal. Service is excellent and the food is outstanding ! The restaurant has an elegant high in look but a nice casual feel. It is not a large restaurant, so making reservations in advance is key. It also has a great wine list and a well stocked bar. This is our favorite restaurant in North Myrtle.
The food was good but I expected great for 45.00 an entree
The restaurant did not meet our expectations
1. All entrees ordered were under $40 as most of our entrees are $39 2. One had dietary restrictions so dish was prepared plain 3. Our fish is local and fresh so it costs more 4. We use U8 dry pack scallops which are expensive 5. Service was great, but left 14% 6. If you are leaving a review about food or quality please elaborate what you did not enjoy. Food was good, but not great? 7. Ordered Grouper, 2 Scallop Entrees, 1 Pasta Appetizer as Entree
Great food and service!
Me and my wife went there for our anniversary the best experience ever
We love Sea Blue...from the time you walk in the door and sit down you know you're in store for an exceptional dining experience. Imagine finding a restaurant of this calibur in a strip mall! Ken and Stacey have made this a wonderful place. Their wait staff is knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating...what more can I say? If you are looking for a truly fine dining experience, and not just a dinner out, this is the place to go!!
Overall quite good. All food was a la carte and expensive for this area, but excellent,
The only true dining destination in the area. If you are searching for quality food that is expertly prepared, wonderful service in a friendly atmosphere, a wine list that rivals big cities with a superb by the glass list that has more than 40 options, and the best bar options in the area then this is the place for you. We enjoyed the Chef’s Tasting Menu and every course was memorable. We are already planning our next date night!
SeaBlue is a true hidden gem! We dined at the bar and received outstanding service. The bartenders were friendly and very knowledgable. Our drinks were hand crafted and even better, we got front row seats to them being made. SeaBlue is a white table cloth, fine dining atmosphere. The food is true michelin quality, something Myrtle Beach is lucky to have. This restaurant is not just for special occasions, as some other reviews I've read stated, but for casual nights out. Ask for Vincent or Eric if you want fabulous service with a fun spin on things.
The bar at Seablue was very comfortable with a sexy, sophisticated vibe so that is where we settled in for dinner. Expert service commenced from the two bartenders, Vincent and Christina. The duo are masters of their craft, knowing every detail of each dish presented and interesting facts about the beverages at hand.
We traveled the world in Chef Ken's amazing tasting dinner. I will not give away the surprises, but the Diver Sea Scallop is one course I will remember for some time. Each dish showcased luxurious, fresh ingredients that are simply tantalizing. Perfectly paired wine! We opted for the high end wine pairing and it was well worth the price. Each wine was thoughtfully matched, vintage and from the best regions in the world.
5 Stars! See you soon Seablue Crew.
Really enjoyed our evening, the restaurant has a great setting, the service was the best we have experienced on this trip and the food was really good, the menu was also very creative and different. I would thoroughly recommend a visit if you are in the Myrtle Beach area!
Excellent meal! We had the 8 course Chef Taste. A must try.
Meal was pricey but every bite was incredible.
I swear, I think we only go to Myrtle Beach to have dinner at SeaBlue! Exquisite meals every time! How do they do it? And we always choose something different but it doesn't matter. Exceptional service, delectable dishes, and a very cool and comfortable environment. There are not enough stars to rate this restaurant.
The staff and the food were way beyond what I expected. It was great to have the chef come out and ask how our experience was so far. Will definitely be going back . Thank you very much for a great evening.
Excellent dining experience. Unique food choices too! The service was outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience
My wife and I ate at SeaBlue for our anniversary and it was absolutely spectacular! We started with the braised short rib ravioli which was a nice portion for us to share but some may consider it a single serving size (roughly 5 ravioli). For mains my wife had the roasted chicken which she said was probably the best she has had in all of Myrtle beach. I opted for the filet SeaBlue style which was cooked exactly to my request. All of this was only exceeded by desert which was the cookie/brownie skillet - gooey and rich and just perfect!
All told it was a perfect dinner for a special occasion. We can’t wait to find a reason to return!
Food and service was excellent . Waitress was very helpful.
