SeaBlue Restaurant & Wine Bar
As owners, Kenneth Norcutt and Tracy Smith are involved in every aspect of the restaurant. Our travels, extensive background, and passion for food and wine enable us to share our experiences with you in our small community of North Myrtle Beach, SC. We are a small family dedicated to an intimate culinary adventure, a playground for lovers of wine and fine cuisine.
We invite you to Drink, Dine & Discover.
This place is a gem! It's my favorite restaurant in NMB. I've been many times and they have never disappointed.
It’s a small place with great food, a little pricey but worth its. Very large wine menu!
Great food. Too expensive for the menu including the wine. Entrees are $10 too much each.
Others $5 too much each.
Missing out on a lot of clients with these prices in my opinion.
Dear Anonymous, To use the same high quality NY City ingredients that our longtime guests have come to enjoy over our 11 years. We maintain a generous 38% food cost. A $49 Entree costs $19.29 in food with no other expenses. The ceiling for fine dining entrees has been $30 since the 1990’s. Our high quality ingredients/labor are at an all time high w/inflation. I would have to lower our food quality standards or portion size to be inline with your pricing. Most chains run a 25% (4X) food cost.
This was my second time dining at SeaBlue and it was just at phenomenal as the first. The food, service and atmosphere was top notch. Can't wait to go back again and try other menu items.
Hands down, best food in Myrtle Beach. Food was delicious; wine list was amazing; and service was fantastic!
Always on point. Very consistent even when they are slammed in the summer. The staff is always friendly, and professional.
We had a reservation for 7:30 PM and still had to wait. Ordered the short rib ravioli. It was cold had to send it back. I ordered the seafood platter (half lobster, 2 shrimp, 1 scallop). It was bland, no flavor. My husband ordered a steak MW. It was delicious and cooked M-MR. He didn't want to wait so he ate it but it was a VERY expensive steak to not be cooked the way you order it. Overall, it took forever. Reservation at 7:30 and did not walk out until after 10 PM. The restaurant is very expensive for what you get.
Dear Angie, Thanks for dining with us and we apologize for the ravioli being sent out cold. We replaced the ravioli dish with a correctly prepared new one. The seafood platter is simply poached and served with drawn butter for the simpler tourist crowd in the summer. According to restaurant surveillance you were seated a few minutes past 7:30 and your credit card was swiped at 9:08 and you left the restaurant at 9:16 in case you lost track of time. Cheers.
The noise level was so loud we tried to play our own music to drown out the noise. The loud customers were never asked to lower their voices. Instead we were asked to turn our music off by a rude waitstaff.
Great service and food. We come back every year!! Love it!
This restaurant is always one of our guaranteed places to dine. Amazing food and Patrick is one of the beat servers we’ve been grateful to have. Amazing cocktails and wine with an over the top delicious menu.
Outstanding dining experience! Far and above anything one has come to expect in the north myrtle beach area. Appetizers were amazing and plate presentation was outstanding. The wine List rivals some of the best I’ve seen. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and the attention to detail on the accompaniments was appreciated.
A note to the owners, not sure if “Alexis” has never had a steak before, but unless it is cooked sous vide and boiled in a bag, no steak is ever the same temperature through and through. Prices seem very in line with quality of food and service.
Food was very delicious
A bit pricey
Best dining in Grand Strand....could be in Upper East Side Manhattan.
Whitney was a great server. Attentive and knew the menu well. Food was fine. Scallops and escargot were cooked quite well, but Steak could have been cooked better. Center was medium rare, as requested, but looked like it was cooked too quickly and was over done away from center. The restaurant is located in a strip mall but is priced as if it is waterfront.
Dear Alexis K, We price our menu according to well know fine dining restaurant accounting principles. We use ultra high quality farm to table ingredients that are only found at a few restaurants in town. Your bone in filet was cooked to a medium rare towards the bone. We use an 1800 degree broiler with a caramelized char as Whitney should have explained. If you haven’t noticed, all the Chef driven restaurants are in strip plazas on the Grand Strand. “Everything was great until we got the check”
On a recommendation we wandered up to N. Myrtle and had an outstanding Birthday celebration dinner and experience with a very knowledgeable and approachable bartender (Christina) who helped guide us to a 5 course experience where each course topped the former! We will be back on each trip to MB in the future!
Whitney was an Outstanding server! She was informative about menu selections and had a very pleasant personality
My buddy and I were in Myrtle Beach for a long golf weekend. This was our last night, and wow was it a great meal. Got there a little early so I had my Belvedere Martini at the bar, excellent. Then we got seated quickly, my buddy had the escargots and I had the oysters casino. Both delicious! We both had the grouper entree, again, spot on. One of the best meals I've had in a while. I have eaten in many NYC places, and this was just as good.
Best food I have had anywhere. This is a primo restaurant.
We had a wonderful dinner and experience at SeaBlue. Everything was great. It is pricey but worth it!
This is my husband’s and my go-to restaurant for special occasions. Wonderful food and friendly, unpretentious service. A superb wine list with fair pricing. Staff will steer you toward great wine/food pairings for wine by the glass or bottle in your price range, are very knowledgeable about both food and wine, and are friendly and personable as well.
Superb! Best meal I’ve had in North Myrtle Beach. Fresh Grouper with bernaisse sauce, beet salad and oysters casino. All outstanding.
Celebrating our anniversary. The grouper and steaks are awesome
Great service and food. We had a wobbly table that they tried to fix to no avail but we endured that little inconvenience. The appetizers were wonderful and everyone enjoyed their entrees.
Fantastic from start to finish. Great food and great service. I would recommend to anyone.
It’s hard to know where to begin. Seablue is small in a good way, has terrific ambience and a really beautiful bar.
After cocktails we were seated and decided to go with the tasting menu, which if you don’t do you are missing an experience of a lifetime
The food was fresh, creative and beyond amazing. When the server asked us our favorite dish it was impossible to choose. We did a wine pairing that was also perfect.
Matthew was the best server you can imagine. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and fun. We have travelled around the world. We have dined at a Michelin star restaurant in Rome. I can say this was in the top 5 experiences in our lives.
The duck and the grouper were amazing. If you have them split something in the back (the kitchen), know that they are going to charge you $5. Everything was PERFECT until we got the bill and saw the silly charge. We spent $150 on dinner and they charged us to split the salad because they put extra toppings on it.
This is a must do restaurant if you are in N. Myrtle Beach.
Great food, nice wine and bourbon selection. Down side while my fiancee and I were enjoying our dinner we could hear every word of the conversation that the bartenders were having. The restaurant wasn't busy and we were not sitting at the bar. I highly recommend this place but they just need the bar staff to turn it down.
SeaBlue truly has become our “must do” restaurant whenever my wife and I visit the beach, and has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants overall. Ken, Tracy, and the crew never fail to impress with both incredible food and attentive, personal service.
The Chef’s tasting menu with wine pairings was amazing and well worth the expense.
Awesome as usual.
Hands down the best food on the Grand Strand. Lamb is always perfect!
Wonderful and exceptional service.
Food was excellent along with the service!
Fabulous meal , great wine selection and first class service!!!
Always the best food and service in Myrtle, never disappoints. Scallops, 60 day dry aged T-Bone... Carrot Cake desert was fantastic, service was spot on.
It was great!
Fabulous, across the board!! Not a huge place, so the noise level is a little high for me when they’re at capacity, but absolutely worth it. The best scallops I’ve ever eaten have come from this restaurant!
Everything was great but the tables especially tables for 2 were too close.....I prefer more distance.....
Excellent service and food. Perfect for our 27th wedding anniversary. Great special occasion place.
