Absolutely the most impressive meal we have all experienced! We brought our nephew who is a chef and restaurant owner in Oregon. He was very impressed with each course. Chef Dean visited our table and presented us with a seafood tower that was incredible. It was a fun experience in eating and that is all one could ever hope for! Thank you Chef Dean!

They have the best slow cooked ribs in the world. I think they were called habanero something. Worth every penny.

Our server, whose name I have forgotten, was fantastic. She gave us wonderful suggestions for drinks and food. She helped us figure out which food options were gluten free. We had the oysters rockafeller, the eastern cioppino and the brasstown beef short rib. Everything was so perfect and delicious. We will come back to try their other options and to try the seafood tower.

From the moment you walk in, you know it’s going to be a great feel. Cool, fun vibe with friendly staff. Food and drinks are amazing. A favorite spot and will return again and again.

Chris and Colby were wonderful...Chris got us in for an earlier reservation on the Sunday after Thanksgiving...very grateful for that! Colby served us and was so gracious and kind...on the menu was flounder and I inadvertently ordered "the grouper"...she just looked at me and smiled knowing I meant "flounder"...my friend Carole has a problem with milk and cheese products...Colby worked alternatives for Carole and again so grateful. Dessert for Carole was "on Chris and Colby" as they served a great sorbet to her! I can't think of a finer place in Wilmington!

Good cocktails and amazing food and service. Our seafood dishes were cooked perfectly. Very inventive recipes, like the tuna bolognese. Attentive, friendly service. They don’t have the biggest menu, but everything on it is delicious. Best oysters we’ve had lately too.

I feel like Seabird is not always consistent with the quality of their food for the cost. We ordered Oysters which were 4 dollars each, one of them was the size of an almond and I thought they were too salty and masked the taste of the oysters. We ordered the ribs, too spicy and salty, I think they changed their recipe as they were not as good as the last time we had them. The swordfish snitzel, which is normally one of their best meals, was not as good as the last time we had it and had a very bitter mayonnaise based topping and the snitzel needed a sauce. The best thing we had was the soft shell crab appetizer, I would order that again. I was not impressed with their craft cocktail list and their pricey martinis come in a small coup glass. It is also a pretty noisy place if they are busy.

First time eating at Seabird. My salad (persimmon) & entree, swordfish schnitzl with spaetzle and cabbage was super. I ate almost every morsel. It was accompanied by the specialty gin drink, which was excellent. My husband’s CB oysters were also excellent but he was a little disappointed with the Ciopinno as he felt it contained too many scallops and not enough clams. While he said the dish itself was very tasty, more clams would have made it that much better.

Artful, tasteful food. Small plate ribs were a meal. We spit a salad and it was plated correctly. Dishes and Silver replaced after courses. A step above many local restaurants. A dining Experience not just a meal.

This was our first time at the Seabird restaurant. The food was exceptional; because it was different from any thing we have eaten. It is a little pricey, but worth every bite!!

Raw and BBQ Oysters were ridiculously good. We had some dry rubbed chicken wings that were off the charts. The waitress could not have been nicer. Highly recommend

A wonderful experience. Definitely for seafood lovers of all types. Even the oysters are local. Every meal we ordered was delicious. The cioppino was overflowing with fresh fish, mussels and a delicious broth.
