Sea Watch Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
We are never disappointed in this wonderful oceanfront restaurant! Terry was a great server and the fresh fish is sooooooo delicious! Save room for dessert - Working Cow Homemade Ice Cream is the most wonderful in the World - especially, Peppermint Stick with hot fudge on the side or you can get it in a Sundae! Make a reservation because it is a very popular place! Love it!
The location and views from this restaurant are fabulous. Service was excellent. They had a very nice wine selection. We enjoyed a bottle of Italian Pino that was very good. I had the Orange Roughy with dill sauce that was cooked perfectly and came with broccoli & carrots that were also cooked just right; just slightly al dente. Finished the meal with Irish coffee that met the high standards of our guests who happened to be visiting from Ireland.
The restaurant location right on the ocean is great and the tables along the windows offer great views of the beach and ocean. Service is good and fast, and the quality of the food is good. The menu has a good variety of seafood and meat dishes, as well as, a few pasta dishes. It is also nice that they accommodate changes you might want to make to their standard dishes. It also has a nice bar area on the second floor, and a few casual tables outside on the second floor deck, with great views of the beach. Overall, this is a nice restaurant that offers traditional cuisine.
We have been going to Sea Watch for 25 plus years. It is a great place to bring out of town guests, family, located on the ocean, easy to get to, and always dependable for good food, service, and friendly staff. We each have our own favorites, knowing what we want before we walk in the door!
I have been going there for more than 20 years and I have a margarita which is excellent. Also nice wine list. I also always have roast beef. This time I thought the portion was smaller but more importantly the flavor wasn’t up to their usual standard. Also should use real horseradish not cream. The key lime pie was excellent.
All in all it was good not excellent as I had come to expect.
The view on the other hand is lovely. Make a reservation and request a window table...it is worth it!
This is an upscale seafood restaurant which sits right on the beach and commands beautiful ocean views. As befits its name, the restaurant has a nice variety of fish offerings. We had the stone crab appetizer which was excellent. That was followed by two very tasty entrees - pasta with goat cheese and tomatoes and grilled fresh grouper. Both of these are highly recommended. As mentioned, the restaurant affords beautiful ocean views from almost every table. The service is very good and there is a decent wine and cocktail selection. The menu is a little pricey but considering the ambience, quality of the food and the service, it is worth a splurge. One tip - go on Wednesday evenings. All wines are 50% off.
We had reservation but they said they didn’t open till five . So people were just tripping over each other. Walkers. Elders on open table I have that I like only one certain table. Other people who came in after us they gave my favorite table too. I was told it who book first on open table . So we still said and had a great waiter Larry and a good meal they cheaper out on the lobster pieces in lobster soup compared to the last time My seafood possillopo ( sp ) as good move broth but the bread for soaking it was brittle
I have been fortunate to have dined at the Sea Watch for over 50 years. As an adult I have I taken out of town guests to Sea Watch 2-3 times a year.
Sea Watch is on the beach so, it offers some very nice views if you can get a table near a window.
The staff was nice.
Overall the food was OK, not great.
Clam chowder was delicious! Lobster bisque was tasty!
Lobster roll was a huge disappointment - contained only finely minced claw meat in a roll smaller than average/typical size of a "typical" New England" roll. Ugh!
Requested "hot chocolate" - was advised they didn't have it! Really, on a very cold day in FL, no one on the staff could have run to Publix to buy ingredients for hot chocolate?! Just heat up chocolate milk and spritz canned whipped cream on top?!
Doubt I'll return as I prefer to patronize local establishments that appreciate local patrons.
