Food was excellent. Was there on a date and they sat us next to a drunken older party from Quebec who was loud and asking us to take pics of them. Waiter seemed disjointed and not really interested in working.

We requested an ocean view table. The one we were directed to was not satisfactory and we asked to be moved. The next table selection was better, but it was not centrally located.

Excellent as always. Fresh seafood and beautiful setting. We always make sure to eat here at least once when we’re in town.

We love it here. But our waitress was in a hurry and a bit gruff. Maybe she had too many tables, everybody’ was served before us and we came in first. Constantly asking us if we are ready to order, and then disappears. I am not explaining this right. But we did enjoy the food and probably will return and pray we don’t get her again.

We went on a weekday at 9:00. When we got there, the place was almost empty. That would not be an issue if it did not feel like everyone (except our waitress, she was fantastic) was ready to go home. Staff was moving chairs around, others were on their way out home, etc.
On the bright side, the food was excellent. We have fresh oysters as apetizers, 6 for $13. The paella was equally good if a bit oily (there was litterally a layer of oil at bottom of plate) but taste was great. Portion also was good with plenty of seafood and chicken. Finally, the seared scallop was another hit. A nice portion of scallops served over a sweet cream corn type sauce and roadted asparagus.
A nice place to go but be sure to get there early before 8:30 if on weekdays.

The food was excellent as usual. Our reservation was acknowledged and we were offered a table inside or out on the deck. We sat outside on this warm evening with the windows open. Josh, who was our server, was absolutely terrific and made it a very enjoyable experience. Our order was delivered as requested.

Wonderful dinner with family that gathered together from California, Florida and NY for a pre-thanksgiving meal. Had great service and beautiful ambiance with the ocean as the backdrop. They have a terrific dusk meal menu that included soup or salad, main course of which we had lobster, filet mignon and the catch of the day, and dessert. They didn’t rush us out. The meals were delicious. The last time I was there with my cousin was in 2012 and it was delicious then and better now. I will definitely be back.

Our reservation was dishonored and we left. The prior reviews on food were to let me proceed to this page. After 20 minutes we were offered a table on the patio, not the main dining room, despite it being very humid. Your receptionist was very unconcerned and told us we would have to wait another 20 minutes for a dining room table, with no apology.

We have eaten here frequently and my grandson had his wedding here.

On our prior visit the receptionist did not record our attendance to Open Table and I had to respond to them. It seems you have a problem at the front desk that needs supervision.

Celebrating my birthday and this place was amazing. The service, the STAFF, the location on the beac. Just perfect. Already planning my next visit. Love this place.

They have a crab stuffed lobster tail that isn’t on the menu... it’s amazing!!!

As always, food was very good. Unfortunately, this is the 3rd time we've had seating on the lower level dining area - which can be way too loud (acoustics) when there are large parties dining. From now on, we will request the upper area for seating...Variety of red wines available could certainly stand some changes, too.

Food quality has gone down. The vegetables in our plates were overcooked and not very good. Regardless of the meal chosen it seems that everybody is receiving the same vegetables ... lack of varieties or ‘one size fits all’ concept is applied. Was expecting more from a restaurant that was once consider as an ‘institution’.
In addition, the steak of my chosen meal (combo Lobster tail & steak) was not very good ... very disappointing !
I will not go back nor recommand it until I learn that it has substantially improved. Sea Watch is not aging well ... too bad !

We had the crab cakes as an appetizer. Excellent!
I had the bouillabaisse which was fantastic!
My husband had the filet mignon and scallops also very good except he asked the filet rare and it was a tad overdone.
Service was very good, and we especially noted that new receptionists were much more courteous than last spring!

Great food, service and atmosphere. Extensive menu with excellent variety.

Sunset Special was good value, though next time I’ll have lobster because the red snapper and shrimp and scallops dishes were small servings and unremarkable.

We always enjoy dining here. Wednesday is apparently half priced wine and that was great! We tried the steamed clams for the first fime...great! A large portion of sweet little necks. The sauce was tomato-ey and garlic-y...our favorite. Could have used more then one garlic toast for the deliciousness. Entrees were swordfish and orange roughy. Both were ample portions and prepared perfectly. We ordered sides of mashed potatoes and the corn bread... carbo load but worth it. A very nice evening.

Awful waitress, bake potatoe without any butter or sour cream, had to request a cocktail which didn’t come to end of meal.

I’ve been going for years and am always pleased. It’s worth my long trip.

Family from Alaska totally enjoyed dinner at sunset. Wonderful food, spending time with family, priceless! Totally recommend!

We've dined there for years, the service is always outstanding and courteous. Of course the food is always excellent.

A pleasant evening. We were seated promptly. Our server was kind and handled our order with ease. Bread is tasty. Caesar salad was good, dressing was ordinary. Portions were good. Grouper was tasty. Angel hair pasta was a bit too garlicky for my taste, and I’m Italian. Could be toned back a little on the heat. Quiet and pleasant night.

Beautiful view despite wet weather and a bit windy ( we needed to close the windows by our tables). The fish was ok and the steak was very good. I was a little disappointed by the chowders. However the Key Lime Pie rocked....so said the Pastry Chef wife.
Service was great and the place very unique. It felt as if you were at a luxury spot on the beach without civilization all around. Great spot and a building designed for a grand view. Drinks and bar service excellent while we waited for the dusk dinner service to begin ( a value price fix meal).

Sea watch was a great experience. The meals are very well priced and were served hot and very nicely plated. The server was very good. Overall a great experience.

We come here twice a year (every time we’re in Ft. Lauderdale). We LOVE the bouillabaisse and the big seafood plate. Desserts are so-so. But the appetizers (especially the oysters), drinks and main course are why we come and will keep coming.
