Restaurant is beautiful. Thought we were going to be seated at the nice tables on the website. We were seated downstairs instead at regular tables. We had gotten dressed up a little because it was for wife’s birthday. Restaurant does have nice ambience and the smells coming through are good. We got 2 glasses of wine, white Zinfandel and moscato. Both are good wines. Next we ordered calamari and when they came out, the looked small but still good in taste. It came with 2 sauces, one was creamy sauce with very good flavor. The other one, I’m not so sure why because I think it was soy sauce. Next was the entree. I got the seafood salad and she got the seafood bouillabaisse. Both came out with good size and portion. The only thing that would have made it better if they didn’t use too much salt on everything. For what we paid for both $24.00 for the salad and $29.00 for the bouillabaisse, it should have been better. Over all it was good but not great. I’m glad I got to try that place out because I have always been wondering about it. If you asked if I would go back again, based on last night experience, probably not for a long time, unless they make some changes as I suggested. My wife and I would give it 6 or 7 stars out of 10 if asked.
It's a lovely restaurant for a special occasion visit. Dave our server was excellent. The food was okay. Nothing to write home about. The ambience made up for it.
Somethings never change-so glad we still have Sea Watch. This place is a gem, beautiful ocean views, good food-what more could anyone want?
Food and service was superb. Ambiance was amazing. I recommend the SeaWatch to anyone.
This was our second visit to Sea Watch. Excellent food and good service. We’ll be back!!
We had a wonderful dinner at Sea Watch for my father-in-law’s 60th birthday. The staff was so helpful in working with us to surprise him with a couple of unexpected guests. All the food was delicious, from the conch fritters to the birthday boy’s slice of key lime pie. Thank you for a perfect evening!
Had a wonderful dinner with friends. Beautiful location even though it was pouring rain☔️. Some our food was a little heavy with the garlic but otherwise good. Love Sea Watch for lunch, too.
We came here last year and it was great so when we came back to Ft. Lauderdale we came back again. We asked for a table with an ocean view and we had a great booth with an ocean view. My wife loved it and so did I ! The drink specials at the bar are a great bargain also
Warm and comfortable on a very cool Florida night. Great bouillabaisse, filled with fresh fish. Service with a big smile.
Our favorite restaurant! Happy hour for appetizers and margaritas and then dinner inside. A perfect evening. The view is priceless!!!
As usual excellent food and service at reasonable price would highly recommend
Food was great. Wait staff and ambience were wonderful. Very enjoyable meal
A corner table overlooking the ocean, Boullibase, half price wine night, what more can be said? The food was fabulous, the server attentive, and they had key lime pie.
As always great good..great service.. beautiful view
We enjoyed our lunch at Sea Watch. Our table was ready upon arrival, in a nice corner with a beautiful view of the ocean. Lobster bisque was one of the best we have ever tasted. Our meals were delicious. The angel hair pasta with shrimp was light and tasty. The fried seafood platter was lightly breaded and so moist. We topped the meal off by sharing the key lime pie. Everything was perfect!!
I would recommend this establishment for it's lovely setting at the beach. I had fried shrimp and didn't think the batter was very flavorful. My husband had the sirloin and he said it was tasty but nothing special. I'm glad we went once but probably wouldn't go back again while on vacation here.
My husband & I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Sea Watch last night. Started with shrimp cocktail & stone crabs. Delicious. We both ordered the steak & lobster for our entree. The steak was cooked perfectly & the lobster was delicious. Also enjoyed some nice wine. No dessert. We will return sooner than later!
I specified a special occasion “ Birthday “
For my 77 yr mother when I reserved the date ,no one ask me about the occasion.
Disappointed on this matter.
Such a great place !! Been going for over 20 years!!
Fresh seafood delicious! Friendly staff! Perfect margaritas !
Arrived 10 minutes before reserved time and was seated shortly after. View was fantastic! Our server was very attentive and our food was delicious. Our table had the lobster Benedict and the crab omelet. Also the lobster bisque. Everything was outstanding! We’ll be back!
I had requested an outside table with a nice view and they totally delivered! It was wonderful!
Went here for the first time. My husband and I had brunch for our anniversary. Very nice staff, pretty views and nice ambiance. I had a crab omelette and a Bloody Mary. Both were delish. My husband had the grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich which he loved. I would recommend. I’d love to have my parents 50th Anniversary party there if it’s available for events. That’s not for 2 more years though.
I've been going to the Sea Watch for a very long time and the food is not what it used to be. It's over priced for the quality of food. Location is lovely but food nothing special.
Another great experience at Sea Watch, one of our local favorites. The service was excellent, as was the food. And you can’t beat sitting out back with the windows raised on a beautiful South Florida evening!
I've been going to Seawatch for decades.
Great atmosphere, great food, pleasant staff...
Birthday celebration....perfect table, food, service. Perfect evening. Thank you.
We. Always enjoy eating here, although the room was cool in temperature, the main floor first room was warmer, the food was delicious and we look forward to dinning here again.
It's and overpriced tourist trap. Quality and presentation of food was poor. Only good element of this restaurant was the view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Beautiful location and all the food and the margarita waere excellent. Really loved the corn bread too.
I always dine at SeaWatch every time I am in town. I have always had an excellent experience there. Food is excellent. The view is wonderful.
The service was great! Very friendly and prompt service. The food was disappointing. My shrimp was overcooked. Scallops very small, but prepared well. Calamari was tough. Lobster bisque had a burnt taste.
A great place on the water to meet a friend for lunch. The food and service are consistently good and they have a nice selection of wines as well as a full bar. I prefer a table on the open air/covered porch overlooking the sand dune and beach to one in the air conditioned space. Valet service is available if you wish.
Food was excellent. Portions were just right. Service was perfect. Highly recommend.
I’ve been there before a few times with friends and relatives..this was with a friend who bought me my BIRTHDAY LUNCH. I really enjoyed our waitress... she was quite delightful and always had a smile.. 💕
More of a mill than a fine restaurant. Portions small with average food and elevated prices. A disappointment.
My only complaint is that it was too noisy in our area.
Un muy buen restaurante con una clara especialidad en los productos Del Mar. Yo es ja segunda vez que voy y muy satisfecho por la calidad y preparación de los platos. Un gran lugar que cuenta con muy buen estacionamiento.
Beautiful setting, delicious food. Very easily accomodated onion/garlic allergies.
Very disappointed. Food came out cold. Prices too high. Service slow. Have been there several times before. Seems to be getting worse each time. No more.
Everything would have been lovely for us and for the table next to us, but for the LOUD group of men, acting like uncouth high school football teammates, talking at the top of their lungs throughout the evening.
The diners at the other table exchange glances, then opinions with us, at the terribly inconsiderate manners of the people at the far table.
The restaurant of course did nothing.
Now it is true that this was an unusual occurance at Sea Watch. Normally the clientelle kow how to comport themselves when dining out. This was an outlier incident, and most unfortunate--especially for our guest who drove all the way up from Coral Gables (one and a half hours on I-95) only to have to spend an unfortunate evening trying to "catch up" with old friends.
Had I been the manager, I would have asked those men to tone it down in consideration of the other diners.
