Sea Watch Restaurant

Tables and chairs need updating. They don’t match the restaurant decor. Service was terrible.

Seems like the portions got smaller and the prices stayed the same. I ordered the Scallops....they were delicious but the scallops were small, you got like 3 bites of veggies and a tiny shmear of corn relish. Didn’t look like a $26 dollar plate.

It was very enjoyable , except that barely had you finished your food the plate was snatched away.

I think the that the polite thing is to wait until everyone is finished before clearing the plates.
We felt we were being pushed so the table was free for the next customets

We have been going to this restaurant for many years when we return to Florida’ yearly, and have ALWAYS been extremely satisfied. No matter what you take on the menu you will be happy.
DO TRY IT YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

We met our favorite Uncle for dinner last night. The place was “hopping “! We had arrived early so opted to wait upstairs in the bar. We were seated in the enclosed porch area. It was full, so the noise level was high but we were still able to carry on a conversation. Uncle ordered clam chowder & scallops. Delicious. I had the lobster bisque & then a lobster tail with a sirloin. Cooked perfectly. My husband had the sirloin & scallops. He said it was the perfect sized portion & he didn’t feel he had overeaten. The key lime pie came to Uncle & he raves about it! There is no question in my mind why this establishment has thrived on the ocean for over 40 years! Well done Sea Watch! Again!

Everything nice but $38.00 for the “main course “ dinner was way overpriced for a very small portion was very disappointing.

We were told about the Seaview by friends. We made a reservation and asked for a table with a view. When we arrived we were greeted and when we gave our name we were immediately seated next to a window. Perfect! The server Paula was delightful. The food was great and the service was not rushed in any way. The portions were larger than expected as a bonus. Great experience and we highly recommend this restaurant.

Every year when we come to Florida we go to Seawatch. Great food , service and views and very, very reasonable ! Love it !

Delicious! Lobster was cooked perfectly. Calamari was flavourful and tender. Definitely would return.

Everything was wonderful except that it was not leisurely. We felt a bit rushed. The salad arrived 2 minutes after we ordered. However the food was served hot and was delicious.

Wonderful evening! Walk on the beach before dinner, drinks at the bar upstairs, then a fabulous dinner!

This is a nice setting smack in the ocean. Right past Lauderdale by the Sea and before Pompano Beach. They try really hard. The valet are super welcoming and makes it easy to get in and out. I found the welcome at the hostess/seating station less so; and the gentleman host even lesser (if that’s even a word)😎. Views along the waterside are beautiful and the service at our table and all around was top notch. Kudos to who ever is in charge if food service. Food is plentiful and a notch above average; prices fair (lobster was dry and disappointing) but dried shrimp delish; key lime pie was a wow! We felt like it was a great Florida dining experience as long as you are not a foodie looking for a memorable meal. We would come back for the great wine selection, service, fun visitors near our table and view from our seats.

Great ocean view and a nice selection of largely sea food dishes; but to be fair I had the shrimp and sirloin this time and it too was delicious.

My family and my soul that them have been coming to Seawatch for a very long time. We have always expected excellence and there has not been an occasion, in the last 30 years, where we’ve had a bad experience. My sister, who lives in Kendell, which is quite a ways away from Seawatch, Is absolutely in love with your restaurant. All these years, with never a bad experience, we have greatly appreciated the staff the food and the ambience and truly enjoy coming there for a wonderful dinner. Thank you for the many years of great dining.

When we ask for egg over and well done and thoses eggs arrived medium ... The waiter took theses eggs away and came back 15 minutes later. 3 of us have finish our plate....

We are not sure that we will come back.

The food was very good, tasty, appropriately spiced. Reasonable prices across the board. Beautiful setting, ability to take a walk on the beach. Absolutely recommend to friends...for casual dining in this price range. We will go back!

We had a party of four. Seated immediately at a nice table by the window. Ordered a “Miami Vice” bowl of soup ( half clam chowder, half conch chowder) & a salad for apps. Entrees included surf & turf (scallops), Bouliabaise, lobster tails, & a fish entree. All were delectable. Service was excellent. Good time had by all!!

One of my favorite places, great memories of going there as a child . Still wonderful !

A very disappointing early Valentines Day dinner. I requested quiet intimate table upstairs and instead were seated on main level with the two top with hard bench on one side amidst a large family noisy group. The exact opposite of what was requested.

Then the tuna appetizer arrived without a spoon and with a fork. We had to ask for a spoon to be able to spread the tuna on the focaccia. It was small and overpriced.

My boyfriend ordered the bouillabaise, and all the seafood was over cooked. His lobster was beyond over cooked and tasteless.

I ordered the seafood medley, and all the seafood was cooked to perfection. My lobster was delicious and ended up sharing some of it with my boyfriend.

I used to love this restaurant, but it will be a long time behind I go back. There are too many other great seafood restaurants in the area.

Great seafood. We enjoyed the lobster roll and scallops. Excellent. Wonderful view. Since evenings are so busy, we opted for lunch. It was a good idea. However, we did make reservations through Open Table just in case.

Would rate a 3.5. Nice dinner. Salads and salmon were very good. Sliced steak a bit disappointing. Dry. Crispy onions barely visible on the plate. When my husband asked for more he was told he may be charged extra.... Really? Why highlight them with the steak if the serving is minuscule. Vegetables fresh and tasty.
How about some Italian or French bread, in addition to the whole grain/wheat?

Always wonderful! The food is consistent and Wednesday is 1/2 price wine night!

The food and service was great. The view was awesome. Only downside is the tables are a bit small.
