I felt overall it was quite expensive for the preparation of the food itself. The cook of the steak was overcooked considering what I had asked, and the veg was underdone. The sauce for the hallibut was oddly sweet and just didnt pair well with it. I will say the hallibut was cooked perfectly and alone it was delicous. The service was great, our server was kind and attentive. The atmosphere was good, though the outdoor seating was quite uncomfortable and was hard to commuincate with my partner due to the table set up.

Lunch for 2- Took 40 minutes to receive lunch and it wasn’t overly busy. Poke bowl was missing tuna had to ask for it. Waitress service was great.

Most memorable aspect of the evening was the food- delicious seafood. But the service was slow from the start; took 15 mins to have our reservation table ready, and once we were seated it was another 15 minutes before someone approached our table. We placed our food order immediately but it was very slow to arrive, about 20 minutes for our first dish to arrive. Overall the establishment seemed understaffed and a bit chaotic. The bathrooms were located down an awkward, narrow hallway where you’d queue up to wait for a single-stall bathroom to become available (men & women). The area was messy and doubled as a storage space. Overall we expected to be wow’ed given the stellar reputation and food prices. We wouldn’t choose to return if I’m honest.

Server must have been stretched thin as she was not around our table a lot. Main dishes were not worth the price and veggies were almost raw! Sushi was good, regret not having gotten just that. When we got the bill we were surprised with a huge charge for pop as the server never told us that the pop was not refillable. The glasses were small and filled to the top with ice. Servers should advise clients when there is a charge for each glass as the standard is to provide refills for fountain drinks. When our food arrived half the table noticed that utensils were missing, it took about 5 min to grab ANY servers attention, when we did he looked visually annoyed we were asking him for help rather than our MIA server.

Had a great meal and experience at Sea Smoke. Food was excellent and our server Isabella was exceptional. Tuna Crispy Rice was delicious as was the Tempura Shrimp. The Ocean experience rolls were very good as were the Samurai Steaks. Highly recommended.

Came there under good recommendations. Expectations were high. Waited 1;00 for the first appetizer to be served. They apologized and gave us a 50% on these. Much appreciated-well handled. But the deception came from the sushi. Not at the level we expected. Not so tasty. We got better elsewhere even from our local Sushi shop! Portions are big however. You can order 1 roll for 2 persons .
