Sea Salt Nashville
Great choice of fresh food with exceptional flavor.
Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere. The scallops and grits were inventive and cooked perfectly. They had nice bathrooms and sea salt scrub for your hands!
Loved it! Food was awesome! . Specialty drinks were a little expensive for what you got though. That was our only disappointment. We loved the food
Dinner with Husband and my youngest before a show.
After show at Tennessee Performing Arts Center....perfect ending to great evening! Loved it!!
Great spot to eat before hitting the Ryman! Servers all knowledgeable and polite!
The bacon wrapped shrimp are a must! Sea Salt was the perfect pre-TPAC show dinner spot!
We have been going to Sea Salt since they opened and they remain THE BEST RESTAURANT IN NASHVILLE! Dishes are creative but delicious. Service - impeccable. Management cares about the people walking to their restaurant. Sea Salt exceeds EVERY expectation.
We visited Sea Salt on a Saturday evening before a concert at Ryman Auditorium. The restaurant gets lots of people visiting prior to TPAC or Ryman performances, so asked if we were attending a show and what time we needed to be there so as to know if food or services needed to be expedited. Our server Austin was excellent, very personable, good menu knowledge, took time during a slow period to point out some interesting facts about the building and restaurant.
We had Frites, Cajun Redfish, Scallops and Grits, and Creme Brulee. Both entrees were excellent and I would highly recommend either one. The Frites were good and came with a cajun aioli and a garlic aioli. The cajun could have used a bit more heat and the garlic was heavy on the garlic and could have used a creamier base to cut the garlic taste. The garlic aioli is not recommended if you are there for date night. The Creme Brulee was underwhelming; the creme was not particularly sweet or flavorful, although the texture was very good. I wouldn't recommend the creme brulee.
Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with great ambiance and good food. I would go back again.
Great food and service. We will go back. The hamburger was one of the best I’ve had in town.
We love the ambiance, locally sourced, farm to table food, and the amazing service. We both had seared salmon and loved it. The only thing I would change is the fact that we were there for an anniversary, they knew that, and did nothing special. Why ask if it’s a special occasion, if you aren’t going to add to the celebration? You will not be disappointed. The food is incredible and cooked to perfection. They have a nice wine list and affordable menu. Cheers!
Server was excellent!
I loved our entire experience! The atmosphere, the staff and most importantly the food all exceeded our expectations!
Our family of four walked over to this intimate and warm restaurant after watching Hamilton at TPAC. The kids liked the burger and pimento cheese sandwich and my husband and I loved the salmon served with seasonal veggies. The service was perfect, attentive and relaxed.
We love Sea Salt! This was our second visit and it was delightful! It was my husband and I’d wedding anniversary and they treated us to peanut butter pie. So delicious and thoughtful! We will definitely be back !
Delicious seafood simply prepared with seasonings to enhance (not overwhelm). Our table shared the fried oyster & shrimp appetizers - a perfect start to the evening. The Scallops, Salmon, & Snapper entrees were fresh, well-prepared, and yummy. Our server, Sarah, provided perfect pacing to enjoy our meals with plenty of time to make performance at TPAC without feeling rushed.
Sea Salt is one of my favorite restaurants. I've dined there on several occasions. The food and service is always excellent. The food is very fresh and well prepared.
It was decent enough. There was nothing terrible about the food (tho my biscuits/gravy were tepid). I’m just overwhelmed by the prices. $16 for two biscuits, some gravy and 2 eggs seemed steep. I was expecting to be overwhelmed - but wasn’t. The location was handy - but I doubt I’ll be going back.
The food was great (steak and salmon)... Service was spot-on. And the live music was great!
New Years Eve dinner
Pre fixe menu underwhelmed. Meat tough. Thought that we would be ordering from a menu since pre fixe not noted in OpenTable summary as other restaurants did.
We were there for the New Year's Eve Prix Fixe Menu. From the the soup to dessert, the meal was wonderful and everyone enjoyed all the food. The service was excellent. A great time was had by all!
Enjoyed NYE. Great food, fantastic service
No as many seafood dishes as I had hoped. The food was ok but not awesome.
Loved. Great meal. The Caesar was killer scallops and grits amazing and peanut butter pie was light and full of flavor Amazing meal
Everything was delicious but the service was beyond amazing. So generous and lovely.
Absolutely delicious! Knowledgeable server with amazing service. The majority of the menu is gluten free or can be made gluten free. My husband said they have the best fried chicken he had ever had. Definitely a must go to if your in Nashville, we were on our way to visit family in Florida.
Not only was the food spectacular, but the atmosphere and staff were amazing. My friends and I barely came up for air as we devoured our food. Would highly recommend for date night, celebrations of work events. Make sure to try the salt scrub in the bathrooms, they have seriously thought of it all!
Always a great brunch here, right downtown but not crowded.
Nice, quiet place. Bloody Mary was delicious!! Great server. Nice ambience.
It was wonderful. Will be back!
The deco was very nice including the salt bricks that lit up. Food was good but pimento cheese sandwich was very disappointing!
Ambiance service and food all are amazing!
The food was excellent and the service was great! They had live music playing on the stage and it was very good.
We stopped in Nashville for the night on our way South. We had a wonderful meal and two very good cocktails. The food was top-notch and the wine choices adequate. Glad we found this appealing spot. We would happily have another meal at Sea Salt.
Loved the ambiance and the rustic charm. The reddish and grits were great! Highly recommend!
The scallops and grits were awesome!
Our waiter Luke was excellent and our meals delicious although I had the scallops and wish they were a little less salty but will definitely be returning.
We were on our way to TPAC and decided on dinner here since it was within walking distance of the theater. We were greeted at the door by a smiling hostess who offered us a table or booth. The decorations for Christmas were beautifully simple and chic. Our sever was friendly and helpful with recommendations on the menu. We ordered salads with crab cakes. A glass of white wine paired well. Very good food and simple decor inside was beautiful. The rock music being played over the sound system didn’t fit the ambiance of the place. We didn’t get to hear the live music since we had to get to the play. Bathrooms were ok but could be better arranged. The door to the stall swung inward and didn’t afford much room to move out of the way. Loved the hooks for my purse near the sinks. Overall a very good experience.
